The one highlighted with white, the top most, is the "install from SD" option... And everytime i selected it, it says "No files found" as you can see at the bottom.

Yeah... I unmounted it then mounted it again... Still the same...

I see why, You are using CWM 6.0.1.2, if you wanna see your files you have to put them on the ext-card ( external sd card ).

I only ask because any version is as good as the other... It only matters that your version of Android corresponds to the version of your recovery.
Any version recovery SHOULD be able to read your storage.
If you like you can try this.
Enable usb debugging and connect the device to your computer (hope you have one lol) Proceed to transfer all of your personal files from internal/external SD to your computer.
Next step is crucial. In order for recovery to read storage, both internal and external SD cards must be formatted in fat32. This is what you need to do. It can only be done through windows. Quickly Google/XDA search "format SD cards to fat32". Follow instructions exactly as written. After completion transfer all files back to your device, boot into recovery and your files should be present.
This, my friend, is the best I've got to help you. If you choose to try, I will claim no responsibility should any damages occur
Best of luck to you, sir.

Yes it is....

So far, so good. The only thing I'd rather not see (I'm sure you've probably done this to your other rom?) is all the stock bloat and TW. Just my humble opinion though.
Yeah im going to remove tw launcher.
And bloat in an upcoming update. No eta's
Ill just say soon. All u have to do is delete the twlauncher and what ever bloat u dont want from the rom zip then flash it. In the meantime
Apex launcher is included i just forgot to axe tw before i uploaded
External SD Wiped
Like an idiot, I forgot to remove my MicroSD I wiped and installed the rom and when i went to my TiBu backup folder, my MicroSD is wiped clean.

I wonder the same. What is it that causes the card to be wiped? I've never wiped the ext sd unless intentionally formatting, nor have I ever removed it. It's never been an issue before. Why would it be diff't now

Can you adb push a file to internal sd when stuck in CWM?

I accidently flashed ARHD full wipe instead of the Lite package and now its wiped all my internal memoery meaning i don't have a rom on the internal sd that i can flash. Is there a way to adb push a rom to my internal sd as im stuck in CWM, or is there any other ways as i can't seem to get my transformer to appear on my laptop, even in apx mode. Need help....
Try reinstalling drivers, there's also a naked driver posted somewhere here that seems to work for some.
Once the TF is recognized ADB push the ROM file to data/media.
If you're up and running I suggest a recvoery that read from the external sd card also.

Give naked drivers one more shot... remove/uninstall/delete all existing drivers... restart you laptop.. unzip naked drivers into a folder, go to device manager and refresh, windows will try to install Asus driver, if you can stop it then do otherwise once its installed go back, right click and select upgrade/update... once this is done you should see 1st image attached. Now turn off your tablet while cable its to the laptop, press power+ volume up buttons together for say 10 secs and u will be in apx mode, laptop will show either installing apx drivers or unknown device found. If windows installs apx driver, again go back to device manager and delete that driver and manually install naked driver and when completed you should see image 2nd image... as you know while in apx mode tablet screen doesn't show much, now run easy flash and select SBK1 or SBK2 so that you can flash recovery, remember flash either rogue recovery of twrp but not cwm 5.x.x.x as it again blocks the access to external memory..... good luck
PS: windows will say "drivers r not safe/digital signatures are missing" or something like that when you try to install universal naked driver, don't worry just continue and finish it.

You could always put the rom on a microsd card, if you don't have a sd reader you could use a smart phone as a huge sd card reader, or if you don't have one, ask a friend.
Thanks for your help sorted it now, managed to get adb working had to mount system and data in CWM and then could push rom to internal sd using quick adb pusher.

I haven't use CWM for a long time, does it support external sd card now or does it still read internal sd only? That's one reason I got away from CWM. In case like the OP, I want a recovery that read from removeable sd card.

Later versions of CWM work with external and internal SD's, TWRP is far better anyway imo.

Problem in installing int2ext and all other scripts
I repartitioned my sd card and did exactly what was written. I made a 1GB partition through recovery but still the same prob.
No script gets installed. I get some error with "status 0" or "status 6" written in the end.
Installed cm10 b1 with int2ext4+ in it...mob refused to leave the boot screen. I restarted the mobile several times and finally it started. But the mobile is restarting whenever i touch any notification.

read PM and give it a try.
I have a stupid question... I am using the link2sd app... What is the difference between using app or script? Also is this better than link2sd?
Sent from my HTC Explorer A310e using xda premium
In link2sd the app data cache and dalvik cache are transferred to the external partition.. in this the SD ext partition acts as a part of your internal memory.. its your personal choice about which script to use... also some ROMs do not support some scripts .. like this is not supported in the Sense 4.0A and its modded ROMs..
PS my sdext size is 600 odd + 0 swap
Check out the screenshot for your understanding.. on what happens when you use. It.
Sent from my HTC Explorer A310e using xda premium
Yeah I understand that but is there any difference in using the app or adding the script in the rom? Also what does ungaze do?
Sent from my HTC Explorer A310e using xda premium
Apps2sd app transfers app data to your SD card.. and when you mount your SD on your computer as mass storage it may result in the force closing of some of your apps.. where as in int2ext it is transferred to the ext partition which is not mounted on your computer.. hence your apps remain unaffected..
Sent from my HTC Explorer A310e using xda premium
---------- Post added at 02:21 PM ---------- Previous post was at 02:14 PM ----------
Ungaze .. is similar to int2ext but it has different requirement s and sometimes the write speed is diff on the SD card.. you can check the individual posts for all the correct specs..
Also note that int2ext+ will work only for ROMs having init.d support so check the ROM you are about to flash and then use of the script

At first u need to partition ua sd card before flash ics4.04 HTC rom. At it should be at least 512mb. And get there mini partition tool. And get the ext2 partition. It's best. U can get the tutorial in the XDA it self just search. If u can figure it out quote here.
After partition put ics rom(zip file) in memory card(not in any folder). Now go to recovery wipe data/factory rest>wipe partition>wipe dalvik>wipe system(compulsory)>now go to install zip from sd card then flash the new rom>reboot
And wait don't panic it ll take some time. After that don't unlock the screen wait for 2min then install mount2sd(u can use link2sd also but mount2sd is best). Then go to enumerator type su then enable every thing. N enjoy..
Hit thanks if I helped
Typing in swift key3 from tiny explorer with ICS
if am not wrong sense 4 Rom has no m2sd ya don't need link2sd also its auto if ya can't understand partition wizard do this
go recovery > advance )partition) choose any u like 1024 I choose then partition it it will erase all data so back up sd card then go and mout USB after con. to pc copy Rom to sd and do fresh install acc to procedure

I don't think its that simple dude. You need a root explorer (ES File Explorer also has that property), gotta rename the folder and gotta symlink it after moving it to sd-ext.
It's better you change it in the downloaded zip and flash it. Or simply download Sensebuild4

Internal Storage issue

Hello all, is there a trick to accessing the full amount of storage after several ROM flashes? My p3113 is low on storage, but the numbers just don't add up. The total space says 4.59GB (assuming system eats up the rest of the 8GB) but when I add up the usage stats its only roughly 2.8GB. And it is telling me only 516MB available? Any help would be much appreciated.

Yes, that does look a little off. I would suggest go into TWRP and do a full backup and make sure it's on your sd card. Pull the sd card just to be safe. Wipe the internal memory. Then restore your backup from the sd card. I'm guessing you have some left over crud on the internal from either dirty flashing or an incomplete wipe prior to flashing. This should fix ya.
If Wolf's suggestion doesn't get you the results you want (it should, but if it doesn't)...and you got some free time...odin back to stock and use the .pit for your device to repartition all memory.
<Note3>
Cool, it worked. I used cwm, pulled my SD card, formatted everything I could. I didn't restore the backup as I had just flashed slimkat official when I noticed the memory issue so just wanted to do a clean install. But I have all the memory available now. Thanks for the help. I appreciate your response!

I'm interested in what exactly you formatted mr_cj? I've had exactly the same issue after rooting my GT2 7" and installing the new builds of Slimkat. I guess you can just format/wipe *everything* as long as you've got the SD card out of the device? Is there anything you shouldn't wipe/format in recovery!? Thanks.
Scammor,
First make a backup of your ROM to your sdcard, backup your data ( I use titanium backup) to your SD card. PULL OUT YOUR SDCARD AFTERWARDS. Then using cwm, I did a wipe data/factory reset, then wipe cache partition, then wipe dalvic in advanced, then in mounts and storage I formatted "cache, system, data", and "data and/data/media". That may have been overboard, but it worked. Sorry for the delayed response. Hope it works for you. Good luck!

One question Scammor
Hello Scammor,
I just install cyanogenmod on my tab 2 7.0 and everything perfect but i got the same issue as you did before. When i go into the storage settings i see that my 8gb where not there, instead it said total space 4.59gb and available 1.26gb. I did what you said, using CMW i did a backup on my sd card and then format everything. Then i put my sd card again inside and restore it. Now i have total space of 4.59gb but the available is the 4.18gb instead of the 1.26gb i have before.
Does this happen to you too? or after you did everything you got the 8gb more or less in the total space? Thank you so much for your help!!!!
