friends,
- The issue as the tour said tickets solved! But I type * # 06 # and the IMEI does not appear it opens a small window but does not show IMEI!
- And even going on information from the cell where he has written would have to be a number, written UNkwon ta!
- Someone could give me a hand there?
thank you!
I'm guessing English is not your native language as your post is a little broken?
If you want the IMEI, it listed on the bootloader screen. To go into bootloader, press and hold power and the volume down rocker until the capacitive buttons flash a few times, and the screen goes dark. Once the screen goes dark, let go of the power button but do not release the volume down button until the while bootloader screen appears.

Main screen (hboot/bootloader). The numbers and barcodes for IMEI, SN, and MB (don't actually know what that one is) should be right on the bootloader screen.

How do I give him Bootloader? I got in his setup and I selected Recovery and he is a black theme with an image of the phone with exclamation symbol!
Because it was so?

The white screen where you selected recovery is bootloader. It should have the bar codes for IMEI and SN on the white screen. Although maybe this varies by carrier version and hboot version? But I believe its been on mine since the phone's release, and through 3 different hboot versions.

And you need to be with chip phone carrier to try to retrieve the IMEI?

Its not an "option". If you boot using power and vol down, you are in the white bootloader screen. On that same screen there should be the IMEI number and bar code, as well as SN and bar code. If its not already on that same screen, its simply not present on your hboot version, and you will need to find another way.
Did you buy the phone new? If so, there may be a sticker on the box with the IMEI and SN, or a card included with the box with the same information.
Why do you need the IMEI?

I don't see how the IMEI is going to help you, then. I'd try putting some tape around the SIM (helps in cases where a defective SIM tray is causing bad contact with the SIM) or try a new SIM.
So no changes to the phone (mods, OTA etc.) and it just stopped reading the SIM?

have any idea my phone back up and running after those pictures I sent you?
and when you boot in the bootloader you can't see barre code for the imei???
have you try (after a backup of your datas moved to an usb card or to the Pc) the factoryreset (you can see it in the bootloader menu)
Are you on stock rom ? what's the version of your hboot ?

when I enter the bootloader IMEI appears already gave Factoryreset and no work! already bought up a new SIM! I do not know what to do more!
You're on an official "stock" rom?
As I already mentioned, try putting a layer of clear office tape (like "Scotch" brand tape) around the SIM (but do not cover the metal side). This has helped a number of folks where a loose SIM tray is causing poor connection between the SIM and the phone.
I still use phone as originally came from the factory! I just upgraded from 4.1 to 4.2 android! but one and the image plane so I sent it seems that trying to turn off and not turn off! I did not activated it! when I see it was already like that!

So, somehow I broke my power button on the HTC Sensation, I'm pretty sure it's a hardware issue and there's not much I can personally do other than see if I'm in warranty and/or send it back to HTC or the network provider where I got it from. However, in the mean time I realised after going over forums that I could remap one of my different buttons to be the power button instead. Awesome!
However, to install an application called Buttonremapper I need to S-Off and root my phone, and for this I need to know my HBOOT Version.
The Problem is, the only way I can now use my phone is if I get a text or a call, I put in my charger or connect it to my PC, which wakes it up. The only way I can turn it on or restart the phone is by taking out the battery. To sum up, is there any way I can find my HBOOT version without accessing the BIOS? Or if not, Is there any other way I can view my BIOS without rebooting using Volume and Power button.

Hi,
It is a fastboot command which you can send from your pc to your phone when you are connected in ADB.
Look HERE
My 4 year old got hold of my phone and after many login attemps the phone locked up. I was prompted to login with my google acct which never worked. I then did the power button and volume up/down keys thing and did a factory reset.
I am able to boot, I see a Motorola logo large red dot, then for 2 seconds i see the android man green robot and immediately get to the home/main screen showing date and time and the emergency call button. no other buttons hard/soft work after this except the power button. if i touch the emergency call button i can see the number entry screen and enter numbers and the return softkey brings me back to the main screen and nothing else.
I use the device as a "tablet" at home via wi-fi to my router and it does NOT have a SIM card. the phone is unlocked from when i purchased it 5 months ago and has worked flawlessly for what i wanted to use it for.
Can anyone help me restore it to full functionality beyond the main home screen?
phone has a sd micro card in it but wifi widget on the main screen shows a "?" on it. i do not have a windows pc, only ubuntu. any help will be much appreciated. i have a usb cable as well to connect to my computer but ubuntu does not recognize the phone

If you haven't already, install the Motorola drivers and RSD lite to your PC, and flash the FXZ that is appropriate for your phone model. To get into fastboot mode, power down the phone then press and hold both volume buttons then press and hold the power button (while still holding the volume keys) for a few seconds. When you release them you'll see a list of available boot modes. Using the volume down button move down to highlight "AP Fastboot" and select using the volume up key then plug the phone into the PC with a USB cable. Open RSD lite and navigate to where you unzipped the FXZ and select the XML that has a name that starts with something like "inline flashing". If your phone is an AT&T model, only use the FXZ found here:

Motorola drivers can be found on the Motorola website. Just search Google for RSD lite. Your phone is an AT&T model so use the FXZ in the first link I gave you in my first post.

was able to flash yesterday using inline_xxx.xml. but afterwards the phone did exactly the same thing as before. in short, 4 hours of time downloading tools and files and flashing, for nothing. still stuck at the main page with only emergency calls feature working.
Am i supposed to insert a SIM? like i said at the beginning, i don't have a sim for this phone. it is an unlocked former at&t phone.
any other help will be appreciated

Try booting the phone in "safe" mode. If you don't know how to do that search here in the A2 form, the instructions to that have been posted numerous times. You will have to resetup everything since you did a reset and an fxz, including your WiFi connection settings.
Also for future info, I posted a a script to flash the fxz with a shell script, it is in the development section.
I was using a new Nexus5 and had not enabled backups as was traveling but dropped and broke the screen.. now screen is not working and looks like logicboard/motherboard has some issues too so a replacement LCD also doesnt works(only shows pixels on it)
but the phone is still working as iit syncs and beeps on emails, bbm and whatsapp messages etc.
is there a way to recover data from it.. the most imp data to recover includes camera pics, bbm history & pics and whatspp messages and pics.
Running lollipop 5
The USB debugging is not checked and the screen lock is there so phone gets detected when connected to PC but folders are not visible.. is there any way to overcome this?

ADB and bootloader are two different things. But if you can boot into custom recovery, you can use MTP.

The ADB and custom recovery can only work if there is a display.. without that not an option to fiddle anything.. In my humble opinion the solution will be somewhere on the hardware level getting access to the file system

Actually it is. You need to be sure to turn your phone off first. Then manually boot to bootloader (power+volume down button). When you connect the phone to PC it will recognize it.

I guess you can do a adb pull without display.
1. Reboot into bootloader - Requires no display
2. Move to recovery - guess two Vol- press, again requires no display
3. U should be having recovery version of adb once into recovery
4. Use adb pull to get all the files -- Requires no display.
So i guess should be possible to get all the files without display. Ain't i right?
Please let me know if I am wrong or having any trouble proceeding.

Yes,I do it all the time. It works fine.
It sounds like you got a new panel for it. Are you sure that its not a bad panel. Ive gotten a few bad ones off ebay. (they were brand new,but most are from china)
Also inspect the connectors, both board side and panel side, with a bright light and a magnifier. Look for anything like a fragment of glass or plastic or a spec of dirt. Make sure all the pins are where they should be and not bent.. Also inspect the board the same way. Look for any physical damage. Theres likely to be little you can do to fix it,but if you find something came off at least you wont be spinning your wheels wondering why it wont work.
My first instinct is that you may have simply gotten a bad screen.
IF everything looks good, do you have a pattern, pin or PW on it? Just because the screen does not work, does not mean the digitizer does not work. I have a crazy idea, in fact its something I'm making up off the top of my head right now,but it should work. You will need to figure out where the things you need are on the screen. Its easiest if you have Its easiest if you have a working nexus 5 in front of you,so if you can find a friend with one it will help.. If not someone here can probably help you.
If you have a pattern lock on it,its probably easiest. Take the other Nexus, bring up a pattern lock screen. Take your piece of paper and put it over the screen. Run your fingernail around the edges to make a crease. Make a dot over the camera with a felt tip pen. You will use these to align your paper. Now make a dot over each of the buttons for the pattern lock. Also make a dot over each of the soft buttons. (the menu, home and back buttons) THere are a couple ways you might do this. You could make several papers or you could use colored pens.
I suggest colored pens so you dont have to move your paper and can tape it in place. You will want to get your example phone into the same configuration. For instance you obviously need the lock screen type to be the same. Your goal is to turn on usb debugging. Then you can get your files.
So,go through each step with a different colored pen. First bring up the lock screen. If its a pattern, mark the buttons. If its a password, you will need to mark the keys. I would just put a dot in the middle and reference a picture of the keyboard to get the right ones. That should get you in and let the phone connect to your computer so you can copy files. If you had to,you could probably even enable usb developer mode like that y using the drop down menu from the top of the screen.

If the phone is not unlocked,it will wipe everything when he unlocks it.
yeah bro I think you can recover the files.( yes you can in the windows environment ).you need to have the adb.
just in case you know a friend who does own a nexus and if you can burrow that for 30min( just for a reference ) , you will be approximately knowing in which menu the phone does lie.
}power off the device( both in case )
}boot to bootloader ( power button + volume down keys)
}now 2 times volume up key and then power key ( boots you to the custom recovery )
}now connect the device to the PC ( sdk+adb enabled ) you can now use the MTP
}or use the abd commands to pull data into the PC
let me know if that worked...
@wickedrody Do you have custom recovery?
Since one month i have the Xperia Z5. It is a great phone. But today its randomly restarts. I thought it was because my phone overheats. After the restart i cant unlock my phone. After i put my screen pattern the screen gets black and im back at the lock screen. Sometimes comes a pop up : Systemui closed unfortunately.
My Xperia Z5 has some apps. No root no bootloader unlocked
I tried with the xperia program. It doesnt fix the issue
Thanks for all help
Got the same issue. After I did the xperia system update...can't figure out how to solve it..
Did you tried to boot in safe mode?
Or open the sim cover there is a button keep pressing it till the phone turn off and try.

Inside the compartment where the sim and SD card sir, there is a small yellow button, push and hold this in using a paperclip or similar, wait until the phone vibrates, then you can power it up again, using the normal power button
A neighbor gave me his broken Oukitel U7 Plus to fix it. I was unable to do anything on it, i was only seeing a black screen so I decided to reinstall the stock rom with SP Flash Tool. I found it on the interned, downloaded it and flashed it with the tool.
Now, after this, the screen is black(no light at all) anything I would do. But if I try to enter recovery mode (Power + Volume Up for 4-5 sec) I am getting a full white screen doing nothing(after a time it gains some dark gray vignette on margins, or it is an optical effect, not pretty sure). In this point, if I press volume Up or power nothing happens. If I press Volume Down, I'm getting a restart.
And also: if i'm connecting the mobile to PC in this point, it will automatically start the white screen, then after 2 sec will make it 60% darker and light the red led next to the Proximity sensor, then - after 2 sec, the white screen will disappear at all and the led will remain opened.
I once tried to flash the TWRP only, but if I'm flashing it I'm only getting the black screen even if I'd try to get into recovery or something.
Should I try a "Format whole flash" instead of "Format whole flash excepting the bootloader"?
Or any idea on how could I fix it?
Thanks in advance

Sounds like the firmware that you flashed is not the correct firmware for your specific device model number.

Is U7 plus the model number? Or the device name?
What I mean, for example, is this. Take the galaxy S8 for example, there are different model numbers of S8, they are not all the same and they don't use the same firmware. They use the firmware for their specific model number of S8. Then there is also differences in mobile carriers, the device requires the firmware for the carrier that sells the device.
Do you know the exact model number of your device.

Aah, yeah, I understand, but I don't think it has multiple versions of U7 Plus. I had once to deal with these names for a S4 and found it finally. But for this I think the `Plus` is the model number, as I can't see anything more on the internet. Under the battery the single written thing is `Model: U7 Plus`.

Yeah, if it says U7 Plus behind the battery then that is your model number.
My next question is, was the firmware you used for your country/region/carrier.
