If I select multiple videos and photos to generate an auto awesome movie, the duration of said media often extends beyond the length of most of the songs from which you can select in the app. Is there a way to extend the music to a length of time equivalent to the time it takes to display the media so there's no silence at the end of the movie?

Hi, I'm looking for a music app for android that allows me to customize the gap between songs.... My wife is a Zumba instructor and we wanted to put a bigger gap between songs but all the app that I have downloaded don't have that option...
any ideas? thanks
bump
never heard anything like that
I just can't believe that something so simple hasn't been done in a music app.
Have you tried a blank recording of such appended to a playlist between each song? this should give you the length you desire.
I would do one of 2 things...
You can record a few seconds of empty noise and create a playlist with the empty space between each of your real songs.
Or you can get an mp3 editor and add the blank space to the end of each mp3 individually.
Play Store link:
Jams Music Player is a beautiful, yet insanely powerful music player. Featuring a stunning Holo Cards theme (regular Holo theme also available), Jams has everything you could ever want or need in a music player!
Support for both phones and tablets.
Supports all the formats supported by Android (mp3, FLAC, AAC, ogg, etc.)
Unofficial GMusic support. All Access isn't available, I'm pretty sure the big record companies won't take it too well if I put it in. If you have your personal music collection uploaded onto Google though, this app can handle it
Limit your music library down to specific folders on your SD card (you can pick as many folders as you want).
Ability to save positions in individual tracks and resume from them later (useful for Audiobooks/Podcasts).
Organize your entire music collection into smaller sub-libraries. (Take a look at the imgur screenshot(s) to get a gist of what I mean).
Individual equalizer settings for each song. Say you set Song A to Pop and Song B to Rock. When you play Song A, Jams will automatically switch the equalizer to Pop. If you play Song B, Jams will switch to Rock. You can also batch apply equalizer settings to multiple songs by artist, album and genre.
The homscreen widget displays your current queue so you can easily browse through it without opening the app.
A-B Repeat mode. You can repeat a specific range of a song from point A to point B.
Displays embedded lyrics. I don't think I'll be adding lyrics from the Internet after what Sony did last summer to another music player.
Sort by album artist! This is for those of you who have large compilation albums.
Full blown file manager with copy, paste, move and delete functions.
Blacklist tracks, artists, and albums. This allows you to exclude individual tracks from your library without actually deleting the files.
Smart playlists (Top 25 Played Tracks, Top Rated, Recently Added, and Recently Played).
ID3 tag editor.
Crossfade.
Gapless playback.
Automatically fetches album art from the internet.
Customize the app with 4 different application themes and 9 different player colors.
Enqueue support with reorder, swipe to remove from queue, the basic stuff.
Scrobbling support.
Questions? Comments? Issues? Feel free to email me at [email protected] and I'll get back to you within 24 hours. If you're a Reddit user, you can also post in /r/JamsMusicPlayer.
Note: If you're having issues, please email me first before leaving a negative review on the Play Store. Negative reviews are hard to spot amongst the hundreds of other reviews, so the chances of your issue being resolved are slim to none.
Please add an option to always auto resume long movies, while start short clips from begining. It can be detected automatically from movie length (typically movies are at least 30 minutes) or even from nomedia file existance in application directories like telegram ...
Thank you developers
Hello all.
I carry a good amount of music in my phone (LG G4): Around 20 gigabytes inside the /Music folder in the MicroSD card. The music is in folders that may be for a single artist or collections of a type of music with various artists.
I like to listen to the music in random order. I have tried Google Music, the LG music player, Musicolet and Pulsar. They find all the songs and folders, but in all of them the "shuffle all" option misbehaves in the same way: It will shuffle songs between a limited number of folders (perhaps 3). It will not repeat songs (or seldom do it), but it becomes monotonous.
For example: I may get a song from The Beatles, another from CCR, another from Metallica and then a different one from The Beatles, a different one from CCR and so on. seldom picking songs from other artists until these are over.
It becomes very noticeable in long trips. I may re-open the songs tab and press the shuffle button again, but then it will loop over a different small set of folders.
Have you noticed that as well? To these apps share the same code or libraries, perhaps?
Thanks.
Can you please add a configurable video buffer in seconds so that it can decode more video ahead of time into memory so that seeking can be faster or even instant?
This is especially important when play bigger files from external usb storage, i use mx player with a tv box, bigger video files like 5gb+ seems to need more time to seek, sometimes it takes considerable time, almost a second, but my usb storage can read it faster so mx player could load ahead more data into memory.
It would be also very handy for ppl that like to seek a lot like me, but its very inconvenient if there is a delay after every seek before it actually happens, so the solution is a way to set a bigger configurable video buffer that will allow to load more video data into memory ready to seek instantly.
Regards Andrew.
