Random in music player apps, not that much? - General Questions and Answers

Hello all.
I carry a good amount of music in my phone (LG G4): Around 20 gigabytes inside the /Music folder in the MicroSD card. The music is in folders that may be for a single artist or collections of a type of music with various artists.
I like to listen to the music in random order. I have tried Google Music, the LG music player, Musicolet and Pulsar. They find all the songs and folders, but in all of them the "shuffle all" option misbehaves in the same way: It will shuffle songs between a limited number of folders (perhaps 3). It will not repeat songs (or seldom do it), but it becomes monotonous.
For example: I may get a song from The Beatles, another from CCR, another from Metallica and then a different one from The Beatles, a different one from CCR and so on. seldom picking songs from other artists until these are over.
It becomes very noticeable in long trips. I may re-open the songs tab and press the shuffle button again, but then it will loop over a different small set of folders.
Have you noticed that as well? To these apps share the same code or libraries, perhaps?
Thanks.

The propa way to organise music?

I just want to be able to go into my music, and see the list of albums with the correct album art. then click on it and list all songs with correct names in that album.
I click on my mixzing music player, and i do see album's with album arts but some of them only have 1 track in where there should be about 22 (the full album) the album I have for example(now thats what i call music 72) has 5 selections which contains..
1 song
1 song
1 song
19 songs
1 song
so whenever i want to play the full album. I either have to play the 1 song and then switch or play the 19 songs and miss out on the 4 other songs. All songs are from the same album not sure why its doing this??
anybody got on tips on the best way to set up my music ?? thanks
I use Media Monkey to organize my music on my desktop, which is rather robust when it comes to tagging. Make sure that all the tags are the same. I've had to fix a few when dumping music on my Droid, and as long as the tags are right and the music is organized properly you should be good to go.
Generally speaking, my tracks are organized as such on the SD card.
/sdcard/Music///
I'm not sure if the physical arrangement comes into play or just the tagging, but I'm pretty meticulous when I rip/download music so I would have to play with it to find out. At the very least, it won't hurt.

[Q] Any music players that let me arrange music?

I'm new to Android, and as far as I can tell, no matter what music program I use, there's no rhyme or reason as to how the music files are arranged. If I try to do by artist (which would be ideal), most are okay, and then there are some stray ones on the bottom. I tried to put all the files on my hard drive and then copy them back to my phone all at once, and now they're all over the place.
Is there a program that lets me arrange my music how I want to, by artist, song title, etc., and get ALL of them that way, or is there a built-in way to do it that I'm not seeing?

[CLOSED][APP][4.0+][v2.0] Jams Music Player brings unofficial Google Play Music support!

Play Store link:
Jams Music Player is a beautiful, yet insanely powerful music player. Featuring a stunning Holo Cards theme (regular Holo theme also available), Jams has everything you could ever want or need in a music player!
Support for both phones and tablets.
Supports all the formats supported by Android (mp3, FLAC, AAC, ogg, etc.)
Unofficial GMusic support. All Access isn't available, I'm pretty sure the big record companies won't take it too well if I put it in. If you have your personal music collection uploaded onto Google though, this app can handle it
Limit your music library down to specific folders on your SD card (you can pick as many folders as you want).
Ability to save positions in individual tracks and resume from them later (useful for Audiobooks/Podcasts).
Organize your entire music collection into smaller sub-libraries. (Take a look at the imgur screenshot(s) to get a gist of what I mean).
Individual equalizer settings for each song. Say you set Song A to Pop and Song B to Rock. When you play Song A, Jams will automatically switch the equalizer to Pop. If you play Song B, Jams will switch to Rock. You can also batch apply equalizer settings to multiple songs by artist, album and genre.
The homscreen widget displays your current queue so you can easily browse through it without opening the app.
A-B Repeat mode. You can repeat a specific range of a song from point A to point B.
Displays embedded lyrics. I don't think I'll be adding lyrics from the Internet after what Sony did last summer to another music player.
Sort by album artist! This is for those of you who have large compilation albums.
Full blown file manager with copy, paste, move and delete functions.
Blacklist tracks, artists, and albums. This allows you to exclude individual tracks from your library without actually deleting the files.
Smart playlists (Top 25 Played Tracks, Top Rated, Recently Added, and Recently Played).
ID3 tag editor.
Crossfade.
Gapless playback.
Automatically fetches album art from the internet.
Customize the app with 4 different application themes and 9 different player colors.
Enqueue support with reorder, swipe to remove from queue, the basic stuff.
Scrobbling support.

Media Library managment options for music and video

I am running Bubbleupnp and i love it.. streaming music to my TV from my computer controlled by my phone is amazing.
a am also running XBMC for movies and TV shows.
So my question is.
What library options do i have.
options i am looking for
I would like the library to gather album and artists data much like xbmc does
I would also like a library that could check the songs DNA to find the correct name
I would like the library to be able to edit the files data to include artist/album/genre info ect.
I would LOVE a library that will delete duplicate files
I would like the library to edit the names of music to just the song title
I would like the library to manipulate the source library by changing music folders around and putting every song by the same artist in the same folder.
i currently have over 10,000 songs and only about 5000 of them are in folders. some folders are albums, some are artists, some are compilation albums (like "Misc Dubstep") and some songs i have edited by cutting off intros or long stupid outros thus removing all artist data but the songs are still recognizable by DNA...
My library has been growing and getting more and more chaotic over the last 10 years or so. its become too much of a task to even attempt this myself.
I know there are programs that will do what i want... just not sure if there is an all inclusive Library Managment software outthere that i am unaware of. i would love to stop seeing [ ? ] icons when i stream upnp music to my phone or tv
What are my options
OK found some software and tried it out
MediaMonkey seemed good up front.. thought i had it with that one.. turned out that its more manual then automated. I clicked a file to edit and clicked on tracks with unknown artists... went to the search and hit apply.. and it changed teh album cover art, album, and artist to about 60 songs but put them all as Bach Cello suites.
after some research i did it wrong but the right way is more tedius. clicking one track at a time and updating the info you want.
so.. screw that program.
Then i found a program by accident when looking for help with the MediaMonkey called MusicBrainz
this is where its at...
now.. i dont know that it does Videos such as movies but i am more interested in the music..
So opened up and pretty straight forward..
i went into my music folder and searched for all files over 1mb (Size>1MB in the search) and moved all my music out of its containing folders
I then scrapped the leftover folders and random junk left.
Set MusicBrainz to the input folder
set the output folder to my normal music location
and set it to create folders with artist names and label the sons with only their song titles (%Artist%/%title%)
it took about 2 hours to run through the music and update the id3 tags
then that was all done the completed items go into the right pane of the program.
i selected all of them and hit save.. and boom.. its been pumping out folders for about
2 hours now with just the Artist name and no album folders. the way i like it.
I would recommend if your computer is not top notch do not try to do 10,000+ songs at once... my comp runs about 3grand 32gigs of ram and a quad core4ghz and my computer was boggin at times. also the program stopped responding if i messed with it too much.. i would recommend doing it in batches of 500 or 1000 at a time.
hope this helps someone else.. was super easy

[BUG] Albums with multiple artists are only displaying one song.

So after downloading this and firing it up I ran into this bug almost immediately which sadly makes the app near unusable for me.
You see I listen to a lot of music which does not have one universal album artist. Instead thee are multiple artists per album (basically a compilation album)
The problem arises when I want to open an album. Instead of getting all the tracks in an album and having the artist name underneath each track only 1 song gets displayed for each album which is usually either the first or last track.
It isn't like the songs are split into different albums either (although that would be probably worse so please don't so that if you work on fixing this). They are just completely absent from the album section.
It seems the grouping criteria involves the folder and ARTIST to be the same in order for something to get grouped as an album which isn't ideal for someone like me who listens to mostly compilation albums.
What might be a good solution is implementing a feature I have seen in another music player called rocket player. With rocket player you can actually select how you want albums grouped. For example I have it set so that songs which are in the same folder and are listed as being from the same album are grouped under one album. The artist tag doesn't actually come into play in this way which stops this issue with the sorting from actually happening.
I really do hope this gets fixed soon as for me it is a major drawback which makes the app almost unusable. At the very least implementing an option so the user can set how albums are grouped would be ideal.
I have attached some screenshots showing this issue below. (I have also attached a screenshot of what the album should look like when seen from another music player as well as a screenshot of that album grouping feature I talked about with rocket player)
Attachment Key:
First Image is what I see in Encore
Second and third image is what I was supposed to see (I.E those are all the songs that should be displaying)
Fourth image shows the Album grouping feature from rocket player
