[Q] Bluetooth Multiplayer - Shield Q&A

I bought 2 shields - one for me and one for my wife. We are looking for good Multiplayer Bluetooth games like Sonic the Hedgehog, Virtua Tennis and Asphalt 8, anyone have a current list? We prefer ones that play well on the Shield, there's a lot of them out there that don't play well on the shield.
Thanks in advance!!!
Also....
I can't install "Amazon Instant Video" to the shield it says it's incompatible?
I can't install "Come on Baby" to the shield it says it's incompatible?

[Q] Single device Multiplayer for Android

Hi Everyone,
I'm looking for some fun games I can either play on a single tablet ( my TF101) or possibly between a random friends phone (on my wifi) and said tablet.
I've found some air hockey variants and "2 player reactor" and would like to extend this small offering. I'm interested in pass and play and realtime games (although I understand the latter might be a bit more rare).
Can people share fun games they've played? Including, if unavoidable, games so fun as to justify buying a second tablet!
Thanks
Fruit Ninja THD
Multiponk (1 to 4 players)
Paper War
I specially enjoy the first 2, and Player Reactor!
I bought X plane ages ago and have just loaded it up on both my phone and tab. Found out that you can multi play. Gave my phone to my wife to fly around whilst I found her in my tab and shot her out the sky. Boom! Brilliant!
I think Muffin Knight has MP.
Sent from my Transformer Prime TF201 using Tapatalk
I liked GalaxIR, already the free version supports multiplayer via bluetooth with two players and I imagine how much more fun it would be with more than just two. But at least the free version only supports one player, which is still fun though...
Ragdoll Samurai and Hardcore Fighter
Ragdoll Samurai and Hardcore Fighter (FULL versions) have single device multiplayer.
I wrote these games and thanks to that thread I'm hoping to get more downloads .
Have fun - these games ROCK!

I was browsing this forum and was surprised that there are almost no topics around having on our amazing note! So I've decided to create a topic at which we can all share our beautiful gaming experience with games that are both compatible and updated enough for our devices.
Some puff the games that I've tried and liked do far are:
1.bag it!
2.temple run
3.birdsandbubbles
4.kingdoms hd
5.air attack hd lite
more games

Virtual pool is pretty good but I don't know about pocket frogs
Stick cricket and tennis are spot on!
Granny Smith is rather good. Im also playing Virtua Tennis which is decent
Although this is a great note, I am really pissed that some of the games are really pixelated and unclear I wish there was a way we could make display or resolution smaller
for games
To name about 1/2 of the games I have installed...
Angry Birds - love it on 10" of screen
aTilt 3D Labyrinth - Reminds of the real ones I had as a kid. lol, I never could make it to the end though back then!
3D Bowling - better bowling on a tablet than I am IRL If I only had an S-Pen to guide my aim in real bowling.
Crystal Defenders - life long Final Fantasy fan...
Dark Meadow - THIS perhaps is the most fun I've had on a game for a tablet.
Dead Trigger - Really is amazing what a tablet can do and I play with a PS3 controller
Eve of The Genesis - Had gotten this originally for my Epic4G but never played it. Started playing it on my tablet!
Fruit Ninja - Slicing fruit with an stylus sword! :victory:
NFS Hot Pursuit - not as good as the real game on my computer, but still looks good on the tablet.
Mass Effect Infiltrator - it was 25 cents, how could I say no? Looks good, plays well.
Monopoly - forget setting up the real board, this is the future right here!
Pac Man Championship - Sort of reminds me of the pac man arcade tables from my childhood. S-Pac-Man!
Peggle - S-Peggle!
Pinball Pro - not much to say here. it's pinball.
Pool Master - with realistic s-cue!
Quell Reflect - was free on Amazon. Puzzle game that's easy to play with the s-pen
Scrabble - had it since my Epic4G. Still works.
Shadowgun - It was free, compliments of my Galaxy SIII so I loaded it on to my tablet. Much better than playing it on the phone!
Sonic 4 Ep2 - It was free on the Samsung store. Retro gaming... Not my favorite, but it looks good graphically!
Symphony of Eternity - old school RPG that like EotG, looks good and plays decently.
Temple Run - I've heard of other devices getting lag playing this. It's lagless on the note. Decent repetitve time burner.
TurboFly - Had a pay for version for 2 years still works. There's a full free version on the Samsung store. Wipeout/FZero clone. Worth getting.
Virtua Tennis - It was free on the Samsung store. Not really a tennis fan, but still worth grabbing imo.
WIsh my gameloft games worked on the tablet, but they don't, and they refuse to assist me, so I don't buy from them anymore. Would be another 13 games I'd have to list.
some of mine:
bad piggie
angry birds space
agent dash
age of zombies
air attack hd
cytus (best music game ever!)
dead space
mass effect
eternity warriors 2
cut the rope experiments
fantasy defend
fifa12
Frontline commando
GTA3
hot persuit
judge dredd (best free 3rd person shooting game for me)
max payne
minecraft
niva
riptide
seven stars 3d
to-fu hd
Nova 3, n64oid, asphalt because it was .25c, then the basic chess, checkers, glow hockey, ping pong...
The first two are awesome and asphalt was kinda disappointing

I have many games on my tablet and most of them work well. Zapix, you have my style so you have many of the games I have; except dark meadow... It's free so I got it,
If I had to select 5 of my favourite games:
Granny Smith: It was on sale the other day
Spirit HD: Neat game, real addictive and works better with the pen than with the finger
World of Goo
ME Infiltrator
Tile Storm HD
JetPack Joyride: This requires special mention so I'll create a separate thread for this

lol, I've probably used my Note 10.1 (that I got in late August) for gaming more than I used my PSP that I got in 2007. Since I paired up PS3 controller, it's so much more fun to play games like Dead Trigger. Come to think of it, with the controller, and the adapter for HDMI out... Hmm. Nah, I'll leave my tablet gaming for tablet gaming, and consoles for the TV. Phosphor should make a Kinect version of Dark Meadow though. >.> Although I guess it would be best done on the Wii/WiiU
and now realizing I never put my NES/SNES roms on the tablet. >.>
Just in case I feel like laying around and playing Genghis Khan all day! xD

I may do that one of these days, especially if I were to pick up a 64gb card for it.
Then again, I would technically be better off playing PS1/PS2 games on my PS3 (80gb fat) on my tv...

Omg dude I love the choices, can you please add some more options .
Just got a ps3 controller, currently playing N.O.V.A. 3, GTA3, Dead Trigger,Dark Knight, Bards Tale, SNes, Fpse, etc.. also smaller games like angry birds, cut the rope, granny smith, Drawable, and so on. I wish I could play MC3 and O&C but nooo.
Sixaxis kicks ass! Although I have issues with Dead Trigger and GTA. If someone have a flawless touch profile for DT I'd appreciate it, the only thing wrong with GTA is that if I press L2 or R2 the controller no longer works, could be bug but other than that Everything works flawlessly.

Dead Trigger supports controllers natively, I have no problems with it. Just enable controllers under the settings in the game.

lol, yep it all works, Not something one expects since we're all so used to games having only touch controls. Seeing they can make native controls... Doesn't that make you wish they did that more often? xD
I just recently got Shadowgun, but really haven't played it, and I never did check if there are native controls... It's also by Madfinger though, so I'm guessing there probably are. Need more games with native controller settings!
Not sure how much if a difference it makes (I've run it on both and haven't seen any) , but if you're rooted, you can also run a little tweak to up the graphic settings from HIGH to ULTRA. I don't think I've seen any difference, but figured I'd mention it.
Here's a site explaining it.

Oh I already set graphics to ultra but thanks. But yes definitely need more games that support controllers nova would be great, I learned how to set it with the SNES emulator just a few mins ago, next I'll search to do that with fpse if its possible. I don't have shadow gun if it supports controller I may buy it. I'm running out of memory though.

Include Wild Blood too. On sale for $0.99 for limited time. Happy days for Xplay gamers.

Is chaos ring worth to buy it? is it a good game? looks good but i read some coments like "is a good game but very short, only 5 hours game play"
I've been enjoying Chaos Rings so far; the combat system is pretty neat and the story has me a bit interested. I would say if you are interested go for it since it will never drop to a lower price than this
Max Payne is on sale for like 64p
And nfs mw shows up in play store for r800i now aswell and is on sale for 73p order and chaos is 69p
And a few others I think

Seeing Wild Blood on sale at the Google Play compared to $2.99 at the Wapshop, I'm thinking I'll get this tonight.
One question, though: I've never bought a Gameloft game via Google Play, always through Wapshop. Question is, does Wild Blood Google Play version allow me to play even if I turn Wi-Fi and 3G off? As far as I can remember Gameloft games at GP are injected with DRM bull that checks license everytime they are opened.
Anyone?
Hello?!?
I just tried on my tablet whilst having aeroplane mode on and it told me "A network error has occurred". Doesn't look like you can play the game without the licence check which requires a connection

Yeh I got the Google play version you don't need wifi or 3g to play

So now you have a different idea with UndisputedGuy... now this is really important to me because while having an awesome and continuous Wi-Fi at home, 3G services really suck in my country. A lot of us still rely our carrier connections through GSM.
So, which is which?
I Bought this game when it was 1st released, and yes you can play it with or without WIFI/Data
but it takes too much Internal Storage when you reached the last part it will eat your 150MB internal
unless you have root and do the trick from the other thread, you can save a lot of Internal Memory slashing it to half
Kabayan.
Salamat kabayan!
Goddamnit, all DotEmu games on sale too
- R-type - $0.99
- Another World - $0.99
- Raiden Legacy - $2.99
Raiden Legacy comes with my highest recommendation.
Bought Sonic CD and Sonic Ep2 while on offer. Bargain at £0.72.
Rest don't really interest me.

Sonic CD was pretty great but I heard a lot of mixed reviews on Ep2, let me know how it is when you get a chance and I might pick it up.
You can't go wrong with Sonic CD, such a great port : smooth animation, updated music and wide screen :good:

Bought all Sega's sweeties and will blood, bargain but can't test them, SD full
have to got a 64Go now

[Q] Top 10 games you want to see for Shield

What are the top 10 games you would like to see ported directly to the Shield? I would very very VERY much like to see the following games ported directly to Shield:
1)Resident Evil 6, or just a port of The Mercenaries mode
2)Bioshock Infinite
3)Any of the Skate games from EA, preferably 2.
4)Tony Hawk 3, 4 or THUG.
5)Some sort of Call of Duty Zombies game.
6)A port of Ridge Racer PSP(the best in the series) from Namco
7)Mortal Kombat(the new one)
8)Borderlands 2
9)A port of GGPO(google it) to Android
10)Y's Oath of Falghana or Y's Origins
Personally, all I want for Shield is an incredibly stable version of Dolphin Emulator with great support for both Gamecube and Wii games.
Call Of Duty Zombies already has an android port.
Otherwise, dead trigger
A port of defender chronicles from iOS.
Final Fantasy Dimensions and Final Fantasy 3, both with controller support.
I want to play in android game Dungeon Defenders 2 on Shield. And from PC some racing game such as grid 2

I love the positive vibe, but doubt they are possible. The Tegra 4 is great for portable devices, but still is not as powerful as a basic laptop with a motherboard graphics card from two years ago (none of the games listed play smooth on even that). To downgrade the PC games referred to here would be a complete rewrite and unless Shield sells at least 500,000 units, no big league dev will invest the needed six digit cost to create the games and that is if Nvidia helps them out.
Seems best bet is streaming the games from a PC and a PSP emulator that the Tegra 4 should have no problem with.
My hope is a Dreamcast and PSP emulator is released that plays smooth with sound Oh, and a straight PC port of Unreal Tournament GOTY edition

Favorite PSP games for emulator?

So I'm just getting into emulators, and want to download some classic PSP games to play. It's been so long since I've had my PSP, I don't remember all the good games. So far I got Socom: Fireteam Bravo, Ratchet and Clank : Size Matters, Killzone Liberation, and Resistance Retribution. What are some of your favorites?
And just a heads up- I'm using the Moga Pro Power controller and it works unbelievably well with emulators, especially PPSSPP which is what I'm using for PSP emulation. Having your phone snapped into the controller turns it into a portable game console that is super convenient to use. I highly recommend that controller.
Also, please don't discuss or ask where to download the game ROMs from. Let's keep this convo specifically about the games themselves.
