Cannot update to 4.2.2 du to TWRP - Nexus 5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey everyone,
My Nexus 5 is currently running TWRP as its custom recovery. I've received the OTA update to upgrade to 4.2.2 from my current 4.4 but whenever I choose to update, here is what happened:
Nexus 5 downloads the updates
Phone reboots
Normal so far, start of the issue
Phone reboots to TWRP recovery
Nothing else happens
When I reboot the phone, it's still on 4.2
I've tried sideloading 4.2.2 through TWRP but there's always an error that pops up; "failed to proceed".
What can I do? Besides going back to stock that is.
Thanks.

dual boot samsung galaxy tab 2 with kali

All I have a p5113 and would like to keep the default rom. I have the most current official one now installed and rooted.
I have seen that there is a way to reboot the device and then use the volume key to pick which os to run.
I would like to run what i have currently
And add kali linux, as they have a arm releases available for download - i would think making a rom wouldnt be too hard.
But i haven't found good directions on what to do with the dual booting... unless you want to wipe out your current install.. and the best way to go about this.
Is there anyone that could maybe guide me along the process?
Guess I should mention I would like kali to boot from the external sd card, while default remains from internal
Does this seem like the correct place to post this? That would be the Q&A section.

No. You will either have to flash the official Lollipop factory image or you will have to flash the official KitKat factory image and wait for the Lollipop OTA.

Downgrading to android 9 - is it possible?

I've got the android 10 beta update, but i need to downgrade back to 9, because an app, which i use for work isn't working under the new system. I've downloaded, the oficial android 9 build from oneplus's site, and was about to use the local upgrade function, but it shows this message.

. I'd like to avoid to install custom recovery and custom rom, if possible.
Thanks!

the fastest way back with data loss is to msm the phone back to 9.
Go in the oneplus community beta thread and you will find the correct rom to downgrade.
you can but i twill wiped all of ur data. go to the oxygenos android q beta's thread on oneplus community. there's an instruction there.
It is basically a downgrade package which is installed using local upgrade.
Doesnt Format everything on TWRP and then the PIE works?
Whats the difficulty?
