Hello,
Just a quick question that has really been bothering me and can't seem to find an answer to. If I install the Developer Preview on my Nexus 5 will it update to the official version of Lollipop upon release?
Thanks!
According to the Google Notes, you won't receive any updates.

No. You will either have to flash the official Lollipop factory image or you will have to flash the official KitKat factory image and wait for the Lollipop OTA.

Hey everyone,
My Nexus 5 is currently running TWRP as its custom recovery. I've received the OTA update to upgrade to 4.2.2 from my current 4.4 but whenever I choose to update, here is what happened:
Nexus 5 downloads the updates
Phone reboots
Normal so far, start of the issue
Phone reboots to TWRP recovery
Nothing else happens
When I reboot the phone, it's still on 4.2
I've tried sideloading 4.2.2 through TWRP but there's always an error that pops up; "failed to proceed".
What can I do? Besides going back to stock that is.
Thanks.

I recently updated to nougat on my Nexus 6P but the problem is the latest Google Keyboard APK is integrated within android 7.0.0, I absolutely hate the wierd white bar above the letters, thats why I kept the older version on android 6.0.1
Here is what I mean

}
I want it to stay like this
I've found my own fix after 6 hours, I wen't back to android 6.0.1 and toke the apk from there, flashed 7.0.0 again, deinstalled stock keyboard with titanium backup and manually installed the apk.

I've got the android 10 beta update, but i need to downgrade back to 9, because an app, which i use for work isn't working under the new system. I've downloaded, the oficial android 9 build from oneplus's site, and was about to use the local upgrade function, but it shows this message.

. I'd like to avoid to install custom recovery and custom rom, if possible.
Thanks!
So it shows this

the fastest way back with data loss is to msm the phone back to 9.
Go in the oneplus community beta thread and you will find the correct rom to downgrade.
you can but i twill wiped all of ur data. go to the oxygenos android q beta's thread on oneplus community. there's an instruction there.
It is basically a downgrade package which is installed using local upgrade.
Doesnt Format everything on TWRP and then the PIE works?
Whats the difficulty?
Hello
I've been checking settings app to look for the update and it does not appear

No, everything is ok. MIUI 11 is just released as beta stable for some random people to receive feedback. You have to wait when it will be released for everyone or install update manually by twrp

Inaccurate. Just tap to become developer in settings and then check for update. Confirmed on 3 devices.
