I am not sure why Android device manager can't detect my Nexus 5 both on Android app and web version since I upgrade to Android 4.4.2.
Even I enable the visibility of Nexus 5 on google play settings, it still can't detect my Nexus 5 (only Nexus 7 can be detected).
Anyone knows how to let the device show? Thanks
no body knows?

is it enabled in the main phone settings. security, device administrators? havr you tried disabling it then reenabling it?
Did you by any chance clear the data from Google Framework to get the OTA? A few other people had the same issue because of this. I'm not if they were able to fix it though.

There is an option sometimes to disable updating apps over data under settings on the app store.

Try updating your apps and see if that helps. Also clear dalvik/cache in recovery. Although both of this has very little chance as I suspect problem with your ROUTER. Usually Routers have different frequencies and different types like N,A,B,G etc.
You might need to check your router frequency and reset your ROUTER if that still doesnot work.
Also, Nexus 4 and 5 have options in WIFI settings to change frequency that is used. Look if that can sort it out!
Good Luck
I changed all, reseted router many times, tryed many things with ip and encryptions. No success. Im have no clue, reinstalled apps, cleared dalvik, no changes. Other devices works fine only n5 and n4 dont.

Did you ever find a fix for this? I'm having the exact same problem.
Have you confirmed your router's DHCP settings - assuming that it is over WiFi signal? Does it work over Mobile data?
Otherwise, it works with News & Weather, checking email, etc. ?
Open your PC's Command Prompt and run a Ping test - can you "ping" your N5's assigned IP address (look under Settings/WiFi for it? ... trying to see if you have basic connectivity.
Check your router's logs for any throttling or bandwidth management/restrictions - are certain ports blocked or closed?
If nothing else help, do a Master/System Reset and re-configure all your settings (after doing TB & Custom Recovery backup first, just in case) - or, consider flashing the older radio as many are complaining about the newer ones.
Of course, you might want to download & clean flash/install the factory image ... as a weekend project.
For the last 3 days my Gmail account is not being updated on my Nexus 5 i.e. I am not getting any new mail. In addition to it my Google cards are not being displayed and neither can I connect to play store. It says no connection whereas I am connected to Internet. So basically all my Google account services are offline. How can I get them back?

It's a long shot, but make sure date and time are correct, I had that issue a while back and fixing the date and time fixed it
Date and time are good

I tried removing the account from settings but now I am unable to add it back. It says"can't establish a reliable connection with the server. It may be a temporary problem or your device may not be provisioned for data service "
Please somebody suggest what can I do as now all my contacts are also gone

BUMP!
Just came here to hopefully find an answer, I had to change my gmail password on PC but after I signed out on my N5 I cannot log back in, it keeps saying:
"Can't establish a reliable connection to the server. This could be a temporary problem or your Android device may not be provisioned for data services. If it continues, call Customer Care."
N5 all stock, no root, browsing works fine, everything is fine just that I cannot add a Google account now.
I have the phone for about a year and yesterday was the 1st time I tried to use the BT and connect it to my car speakerphone. I turned it ON, the icon showed up but it wasnt illuminated as it is supposed to be. It also didnt find any nearby devices. My wife's MOTO G on the other hand, had no problems finding my phone or the car speaker.
My phone is not rooted and WIFI was off.
From a shot goggling, I didnt find much info about it, but perhaps it is related to the KirKat update? Is there any solution to that?
You need to manually scan for other devices. It should have an option there when you are searching for local devices. Or are you saying out of the random that your Bluetooth stopped working? If so you probably dropped the phone and broke the radio

No. Im saying that it wont find any nearby devices. Im clicking on the "search for devices" but it wont find any devices. Other devices can find me, but mine wont show any device.
I also tried factory reset and still not working
Try turning the visibility timer to never. Then perhaps rename your device? These are the basic troubleshooting methods I would use. If its a software issue (which might not be since you did a factory reset) then I suggest changing downloading an app off the play store like "Bluetooth auto connect". If it is a hardware issue then send it back to google for a new device. Or open it up and check out the sensor

After upgrading to Android Lollipop my phone it no longer notifies me for out of dated apps and no longer auto updates my apps. I have checked the settings and auto update is on and notification for out of date is on. I also went to Settings -> Apps and cleared the data on google play store and still doesn't work. Anyone else experienced this or know the solution?
I've been experiencing a similar issue, after the update to lollipop for 2 or 3 days I didn't receive any notification on app store updates (while there were there if I open the play store app, under my apps). I've disabled the Notification option, restarted the phone, enabled the Notification and from that moment worked!
Did you disable the notifications from playstore settings or from Android settings and then apps?

Still no luck fixing this.. I reflashed lollipop and performed factory resets. Anyone else got ideas for a solution?
