Hi! All.
This one is for noobs to root their phone in the same way as the moderators explained but in easy language.
1. Download flashtool for xperia, google it and you got that.
2. Then download the 4.1.A.0.562 kernel for your 2011 xperia, you could google it or try it on 4shared, all you'll get there.
3. Go to flashtools>firmwares and delete everything present and then put the downloaded kernel.
4. Also you need to install the adb drivers for your phone. If you're not sure of that then go to flashtools>drivers and install the specific driver of your phone.
5. Now go to settings>developer options> and turn on usb debugging.
Then go to security and tick unknown sources.
6. Now switch the usb connection mode to mass storage mode(MSC).
7. Connect your xperia to your computer. Open flashtools.exe and click on the flash icon (that like a lightning/bolt) and select flashmode. Click on the respective kernel and click OK.
8. Follow the on screen instructions and you're done.
**You also need to download DoomLord's rooting toolkit for xperia.
9. Now turn on your phone, when the sony logo appears plug it to your computer and open your rooting toolkit and press enter.
10. Your phone may reboot several times, don't worry about that.
11. After it is over now again connect it to your computer, open flashtool.
**You also need to download the 4.1.B.0.587 kernel for your respective xperia, most probably you'll get it on 4shared.
12. Put that kernel in flashtool>firmwares.
13. Now again click the same flash icon and select the 4.1.B.0.587 and click on ok.
14. Follow the on screen instructions and you're done.
15. If there isn't any superuser or superSu app installed, that means you've not followed the steps proper and you are not able to complete rooting.:good:

Your best bet would be to flash the stock firmware onto your device using flashtool.
1) Download flashtool from here: http://androxyde.github.io/
2) Download Miro firmware 11.0.A.5.5 from here: https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B_d8uWGbkaetR1ZuSWlUcTNNQVk/edit?pli=1
3) Install flashtool to your computer, keep the install location default to keep things simple.
4) Move the firmware to the flashtool directory. Default path is C:\Flashtool\firmwares
5) Install the device drivers provided with flashtool. Default path is C:\Flashtool\drivers. Install every driver firmware possible.
6) Open flashtool and click the lightning bolt. Select flash mode.
7) In the new window select your Miro firmware what you moved to the firmwares folder. Do NOT change any of the tick boxes as doing so can cause complications. Press okay.
8) Let flashtool prepare the file for flashing. Once it has it will ask you to connect your device in flash mode. To do so plug the large USB end into your computer, remove your phones battery and leave the back off. Connect the small end of the USB cable to your phone and hold the volume DOWN (-) button. Insert the battery. This puts your phone into flash mode.
9) Let flashtool work its magic. It takes about 2-5 minutes to make your phone work again.
10) Enjoy your working phone.

For Flashing Stock ROM fastboot drivers are not required, only flashmode drivers are required which Windows manages to get them easily. I wanted fastboot drivers for my phone which were in Flashtool -> Drivers folder. But the installing always used to fail. After lot of google searches I found out as the drivers were not digitally signed Windows used to block it's install process. If you are having same problem just Google 'How to disable driver signature enforcement in Windows'. It helped for me
