Hi, I installed Jellytime R20.0 and see now that R22.0 is released.. So I wondering, how can I update my current Jellytime Rom with the Jellytime R22.0 without reflashing, or do I have to perform full wipe and flash then restore data?
Thanks

Is a full wipe needed?
YES , If its first time you are flashing the ROM
NO, it is not required, but it is strongly recommended. If you choose to do a "dirty" flash, please do NOT post bug reports or issues you are having, as something from an earlier release might be causing the issue.

but i'm considering to flash cleanROM6 R2 instead to get the GSM working
can i just flash it right away from CM10.1 RC2?
the instructions on CleanROM says that the phone MUST be unlocked, how can i tell that mine is?
what are the steps i must take before flashing the rom?

If you are on cyanogen mod(CM) then it is obvious that you have an unlocked bootloader and a custom recovery otherwise you won't have a custom ROM. You must backup your current ROM then do the following :
Wipe cache
Wipe dalvik cache
Factory reset
Flash your new ROM.

The usual way, you do all necesarry whipes, and then you install the rom you want. But: no dirty flashesas 4.2 and 4.3have eome architectural diferences (whipe sostem, whipe cache and dalvik, in mounts and storage format both sistem and SD card - better if you back up your photos, music and all media to pc as this deletes everithing you have on in), then connect your phone to PC/Laptop via USB and copy the files of the rom you want, the G-apps and/or kernel

Always after full whipe and factory reset you:
1. Flash the desired rom (it has a kernel of it's own
2. Flash Gapps (they have to be Gapps for your specific rom android version)
3. Flash a custom kernel you like (if you will skip step 3 the rom will still boot up case it comes with it's own kernel, but if you downgrade it's good to flash one case the rom one is mostlikely outdated; and remember that the kernel you flash has to have suport for he android version you flash)
My advice to you if you downgrade is not to go back further than ICS case newer apps will probably have compatibility issues with really old outdated system versions

Hey guys, is there a way to just Flash a stock Boost ROM instead of having to flash the stock firmware using PC?

From what I've found, this is the only flashable stock ROM:
http://androidforums.com/cdma-moto-...k-4-4-2-deodexed-unmodified-boost-mobile.html
I haven't tried flashing it, myself - when I need to go stock, I just flash the stock firmware via PC.
:good:
Thanks, will there be problems going from 4.4.4 to 4.4.2?

I couldn't tell you, to be honest.
Make a Nandroid, and if the flash fails, or you encounter issues, restore your backup.
Ok thanks, the last time I made a backup and did a wipe for the phone, my backup also go deleted. Does it only do that on TWP?

I use this recovery:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2639583
I haven't used TWRP on this device, so I couldn't tell you with complete certainty. PhilZ's recovery has an option to clean your device for flashing a new ROM (wipes data, system, dalvik, & cache). SD contents will remain untouched.
OK thanks very much

You will need to wipe your data, as it is likely to crash all over the place if you simply flash an older version of Android over a newer one.
