HI Guys, I Bought an rooted and used HTC ONE SV. And everything was fine but than from one day to another it doesn't want to start anymore! The Only Life sign is that the litle LED shines when i connect the phone to an powersource like a PC.
Model: HTC ONE SV
Firmware: Sadly Unkown
Problem:
Dont start i can press every button and nothing happens.
Already tried:
- Holding Power for 60 Seconds
- Holding Power + Vol Down for 60 Seconds
- Holded EVERYTHING down for 60 Seconds and more
- Changed Batterie same result.
Thanks in Advance
NupX.
That don't sounds good.
Remove the battery, put in again. Hold Vol Down and then push power.
If it does not start into bootloader, i think the phone is dead.

see if it's recognized in adb or fastboot and if it is recognized but you can't see anything on screen then replace the LCD if it is not recognized at all.......
flush it down the toilet
Or
send me a PM and maybe you could send it to me and I could diagnose and fix it personally if you can mail it.....
by replacing the motherboard(if needed)
Also, I could try and help diagnose it through this thread if you have active internet and ability to understand and follow instructions/advice.

Dang that stinks my friend.
Since there is no OS to boot into and no bootloader you can get factory defect warranty from carrier the phone came from,
If all else fails I'd be happy to install new motherboard and anything it needs,
I've got a bad addiction to these things and all it would cost you is shipping device to me, I've got parts at the ready.

@NupX
I've just ran into similar issue
my battery was drained to 0% abd would not boot even after green fully charged LED was shown.
I was able to boot finally by unplugging from power source and pulling battery
waiting 20 seconds then replacing battery and booting manually into fastboot mode.
maybe you've been able to get your device to boot finally, but if you haven't I would try this.
best of luck

I don't know what you've tried so far, but give this a whirl...
Push and hold the "Volume Down (-) button">press the power button. Hopefully you'll boot into the Recovery Menu. If you get it, press the volume down button and when you get to the "Recovery" option his the power button.
Your bootloader has been downgraded to a froyo version and you have a gingerbread shipped phone. Your phone is incompatible with this hboot. You need to use the hack kit to flash a correct version of hboot. Or do it manually if can't get hack kit to recognise your device when it passes the main white HTC screen.

You won't be able to use hboot. You have to let it try to boot and just hang on whatever screen it does. From there your phone is recognizeable via adb or hackkit. Both can be used to flash hboot. With adb use the fastboot commands.

That is symptom of a messed bootloader. How were you trying to downgrade? if you flashed a froyo hboot or RUU and your device was shipped with GB then you need to fix the bootloader. You are warned about this.
Hi,
This is my first post. Been reading posts for awhile to make sure I'm doing the most I can on my own for my Galaxy S3 and my TF300 but I think I finally hit the wall.
Here's the si
Got a TF300T, unlocked it fine (using SDK and command line through all this) rooted to CWM with fastboot, that didn't work right so I flashed to TWRP, put on paranoid android that didn't take so decided to put back to stock to start fresh. Put it back to stock, unrooted. Looks like I used the wrong version firmware (some keys on my board weren't mapped right, press comma, get semi colon). So I checked and found the newer version firmware, was in the process of loading using command line, accidentally pressed enter while loading so it looks like it was doubling up and looks like it froze so I stopped it by holding on and Vol Down now it won't turn back on.
Now I know that's probably what's causing my problem. But now I get nothign on the screen, I've tried using the tips I've heard on here: reset hole, holding On and Vol Up to get into apx mode etc but nothing is working.
I've searched on the forums but I haven't found anything for my particular problem but maybe I'm not asking the right questions.
I'd really appreciate any help, spent too much on this to give up.
Thanks
Mine transformer tf300 can be turned on, but then it get's stuck on the bootscreen with the text bootloader unlocked. I can't turn it off normally, holding vol - & power button does nothing. To turn it of I need to let the battery run out or press the vol + button & reset hole.
I found a tutorial on youtube how to unbrick it ( I am not able to add the link because I am new).
The tutorials uses apx mode. Here is where my problems start. When I press the vol + button and connect my tablet to my laptop it does enter apx mode and it is shown in the device manager.
But I need to force install the driver acording to the tutorial but I don't know what driver I need to install. I've tried the drivers from the asus website and the driverd for adb. but nothing.
Can anyone tell me which driver I have to install? Because getting in to apx mode is the only way I can get any responce from my tablet. When connected I see apx device connected in the device manager, but nothing in my computer where my disks and removable disks show up.

Is the volume up button broke or stuck compressed? If it is broke you could go into download mode and flash 4.1.2 so she has a working phone. If its compressed you could try the wack method to uncompress the button.

yeah, i cant get into recovery or download mode because of the vol button. I just read about usb jigs. They force it into download mode? Do you think that would work? i don't know what else could if not .

I just watched a YouTube video to see if it asks for confirmation. He used a jig marketed for the s2 on the s3 and it went straight to a flash able state (no volume confirmation). So it looks like a good option for you. I think you can buy them for under a buck and if memory serves me you can make it out of a old cable and a resistor.
so my phone bricked yesterday. completely stock and not rooted. anyone have any idea how or why this might have happened? everything was working ok and then out of nowhere it shut off and it does this all day now. already contacted google for the RMA and the support tech also had no clue what was happening. anyone else have this problem or know how to "fix" this?

Can you Start the bootloader ??
---------- Post added at 09:19 PM ---------- Previous post was at 09:17 PM ----------
Try this please ....
1. Plug phone into wall charger and hold power button down for 15 seconds.
2. Unplug phone.
3. Hold Volume up+Volume down+Power button for a couple of seconds till it boots back to the bootloader.
It may not do this at the first try so you might have to keep on holding just the Power button for a while and then doing step 3 again.
Try try again and hopefully you'll be fine.
i've tried those methods above multiple times. wish i could post the video because it looks like something that isn't normal. it goes into bootloader for a split second then just restarts. it's weird

I fixed it! I just had to spend a glorious Saturday draining my phone's battery to literally 0 (I spent around 8 hours holding and releasing the power button so it could drain) and then I just connected it to my laptop. At first, it didn't work but I tried a couple more times disconnecting and connecting it to my laptop and now it works like nothing ever happened. I really hope this works for you and if it doesn't then I'm sorry. Good luck! :good:

I had this random urge of booting into recovery and then I remembered that's where the problem originated so I am stuck with the same problem AGAIN. I am so mad at my stupidity and now I just want to throw this phone out the window...
