i have proplem with i phone 4s locked with apple IDI've bought it and when i update it it requires the apple id and i don't get the id
If you're saying that there's already an Apple ID on the device but you don't know the password then go to Settings --> Store and then Log out to sign in with another account.
If you don't have an Apple ID i think you can create one from Store settings on your iPhone , or just visit Apple website
http://www.apple.com/support/appleid/
Please Press the "Thanks" button if i helped C:
i have updated the i phone and when it come to registration it need apple ID and i don't have it ???

You can also simply skip that part and register afterwards. Bottom right - "Skip".
well then
If this phone was bought from you then I think you should have it. Why don't you ask the Apple Genius? Tell them your phone number and they should be able to checking up for you.
If you ever installed an app from App Store or bought music from iTunes then you definetely have an Apple ID already, and as it is linked with your credit card and purchases it would be a good thing to call Apple in order to get it back... If you just bought one for the first time on the aftermarket then you'll need to create one at some point, but for now you may skip this and enjoy your phone until you need an ID....

I've tried to download it a few other times and each time I hit download I get a pop up that saids "I already have a pending order for this item" what's the deal?

Why not make things a lot easier on yourself and signup for a Google Checkout account?
It's so easy to do and once you have signed up and find an app you want to buy it's approved instantly right on the spot, and the download/installation is instant too. There are many ways to setup the Google Checkout.
Here is the link: http://checkout.google.com/sell/?promo=sha2&gsessionid=Ie2PYCQ5SL0
Good luck!
Thanks for the link. Kinda funny tho, I just received a call from att (follow up call on an issue on one of my other phones) I asked her the same thing and she told me that there's a purchase blocker on my account. I don't know anything about that, she told me that she can either unblock my account for good or unlock just so I can download this app, I asked if there's a why for me to block/unblock as I see fit, she said she'll send me an email on how to monitor my account. Never had to deal with this sort of thing with my iphones, but I guess its a good thing to have.

the app store bills through the itunes account doesn't it? I guess the purchase blocking for the phone bill is to prevent freud. I've used andriod since before I knew that was an option and pay for apps with my debit card, though I may put it on my phone bill now because I hate to see my bill change and it'll keep me from making impulive buys, the few dolars seems more significant on my phone bill than out of my bank account. I have like 10 apps that are useless to me now and will never use like rom manager and set cpu.
I had an old android device which I passed on from a distant relative and for some reason the play store just still be linked to my credit card as I've been billed for a game or two. Is there any way to prevent purchases from the device? As I really don't want to set up a new bank account for such a mishap.
I know I should've fully wiped it , but they were new to android and I installed a load of apps for them. So constructive criticism please , not to sound harsh
If anyone gets an idea , feel free to post here cheers

Wouldn't they be locked out if you simply changed the password to your Google account?
That's a fair shout. I'll change it now, never thought of that! :banghead: thanks

So yesterday I was looking at buying an app off Google Play to support the Trinity kernel's voodoo sound. O.K., so the app is $3.50.
I go to click Purchase to buy this app and charge it to my T-Mobile account. SURPRISE! Google now forces you to sign up for Google Wallet and that you link your mobile phone account to Google Wallet. If you don't sign up for Google Wallet you can't make app purchases from Google Play.
I called T-Mobile and there's nothing they can do, Google owns the Google Play store and this is a requirement. T-Mobile isn't happy about it and people have been complaining all week.
Like most people I damned well don't want a Google Wallet account. Google has proven again and again that they can't be trusted with any personal information. Now, they want to be able to take money from us through our mobile phone carriers.
If you get Google Wallet, Google can charge you whatever they want to your Mobile Phone account. Like, what happens if Google decides to fine people that root their phones? Stranger things have happened.
Option One of buy a Google Play gift card and make purchases off that gift card.
Option Two is to use another app store, like the Amazon App Store:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/mas/get-appstore/android/ref=mas_rw_ldg
So, stay Away from Goggle Play

Yeah I was really iffy about being forced to use Google+ to review apps. If this is true, Google just wants to push Wallet so that they can release a statement in a few days about "the hundreds of thousands new Google Wallet users they've seen in the past week".

I like to be able to CHOOSE if I'm going to sign up for a payment system like Google Wallet.
I don't like being FORCED to sign up. It's dishonest and unethical.
Google will never fine people for rooting phones it is not against the law and Google android is open source unlike apple or windows. Google and android actually encourage the use of the open source for development. And you should be able to still purchase through the play store with out the use of Google wallet I have not signed up with it...

A few corrections to your post:
1) Apple just made it against the law to jailbreak your iPhone
2) It is a violation of your cell service contract to root your Android
3) The low level drivers are not open source
4) Open-source is what Google decides it means.
5) Google is known for making up their own rules
example: "We at Google value your privacy" = "Give us your personal information so we can make money by giving it away to strangers"
In that context, "value" = it's valuable to Google to make money off it.

Don't use a smart phone, issue solved. Do the other options not work without Google Wallet, bill to carrier, enter card info?
If you can use a gift card you're technically not forced to use Google Wallet

I don't see the problem here. When was the last time anyone read the EULA? There are no rights anywhere... just a false sense of security.

Hi everybody!
I'm having issues with battery life, I noticed that much of the battery is consumed by the android system process, and therefore of all the many samsung packages.
I would like to know if anyone has a list of packages that can be safely removed from oreo, after I will remove them with adb commands. I would like to use an app as a package disabler, but now these apps appear and disappear too often from the store and the feedback leave me a little confused.
Can anyone help me?

If it has a price over the install button saying Buy, you did not buy it with this Google account, either find the account you purchased it through and log into Google Play with that, or buy it again

I believe you didnt understand mate...
I bought these apps twice, with the same account, my only one. And both apps I bought have disappeared from the store, like their developers. In my Gmail I still have the purchase invoices, opening the links of the developers dont appear to me anything, they disappeared and, probably, reappear with other names.
Reading on the forum it seems I'm not the only one to have noticed that these developers appear and reappear, so users have to repurchase the app every time

Well yea, if the original app is removed, then a new one appears in it's place, then it is a different app, even if it does the same thing / seems identical, maybe the dev sold it to someone else who has re-upped it under a different name, either way you'd need to buy it again

I don't think so... In the mail invoice that google send when you make a purchase there is always a contact email from the developer near his name.
The contact email that I see in my old invoice is identical to the contact email that is here
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ospolice.packagedisablerpremium
So I would say that the developer is always the same, He simply likes to reappear always with different names so as to take more money from those who are forced to buy back the app every time, it's simply a dishonest trick

I guess if you want to disable packages, it's gonna cost £2~ every time you reset your phone if it gets blacklisted, I've only reset my phone once in 12 months, £2 odd every 12 months is fine
At least there is a non root option
In the end, after 2 days, the developer replied giving me a code to redeem the app for free from the store.
Now with Package disabler pro (with that xml list) and Greenify, the battery life goes a bit better. I do about 4h of screen on (compared to before I was about 2h30m).

you've told that you having issue with app disabler? just do the adb trick to disable every app that you want
Hi,
We lost a family member to suicide recently. We have had a lot of questions and we feel there are lots of critical answers in the phone. The phone is locked via finger print and passcode. Is there any way to unlock this phone? The family is looking for some closure.
Thanks.

I am sorry for your loss.
In case like this I recommend google or searching XDA really well... grey topic
There are many guide on bypassing these already
I find a lot of software to do this, the problem is i am not sure which one is legit.
You can try to unlock it using the google account used with the phone! Or you can try to contact samsung via email or to go with the phone over a samsung Service Center and i think that they will help you with the problem! Hope that it helps you!
Actually Google has a program where if a loved one is passed, you can send them death cert. and they will give you access to their account.

That is correct I forgot about this As I purchase devices from auctions I have had to supply auction paper work for new proof of ownership for black list and google bypass from google for a fee of coarse
Know what, you could take a copy of the death certificate to the phone company and explain the situation. I'd bet they have a manner to get into the phone, rather easily.
