Overall this is really great. I ordered it the day after I got my Desire, but it took 2 weeks just for it to get into production, and then another week to ship. It comes in a bunch of colors; I chose black. The fit is perfect, and all the buttons and holes line up just right. My only complaint is that I wish it were just a bit more stretchy-snug -- It's snug, but I'd like for it to have been more snug
.
ALSO:
It did not come with a carry strap, nor anchor point for one, but I made one myself and now it is secure in my hands everywhere I go. Mission accomplished. I will add pictures of that later tonight.

Oh sorry, I forgot to mention that.... They have nothing to do with the silicone case... They are separate stick ons called "egrips" -- which you can apply to any device and it creates a friction that prevents stuff from sliding out of your hand.

Prior to getting the silicone case in the mail, I needed to give myself some peace of mind to not let the Desire slip out of my hand. egrips are great... They makes them as strips you can apply where you like -- and they also make they as custom fits for an entire back of a phone...
I care a lot about aestehtics -- but I do not care about the back of my phone. I rank "NOT DROPPING MY PHONE" much much higher than "neat and tidy back side".
But, for the record, the egrips work great on the Desire back surface itself... But when I then applied them to the back of the silicon case, they don't adhere.
So, what do you think of the case?
Great video, thanks for the great review!
I wish everyone would review the products they bought the same way, with clean and alot of photos, detailed ones
I thought I would share with everyone this wonderul find I discovered at Best Buy. It is a sleeve case made by Init. It's a tablet pc sleeve that works perfectly for the Asus Transformer. There are a couple features I especially like about it.
1. The material has a nice soft vinyl/leather feel (seems like it would be waterproof) and a very nice embossed design (the circles you see in the images).
2. The inside of the sleeve is a very nice soft material that holds the transformer perfectly. It's not a tight fit but the transformer doesn't really slide around much inside.
3. The foldover flap is really nice. There are two buttons on the underside of the flap that snap easily to keep the flap from opening up.
4. Most of all (and the part hardest to describe) is that this case actually has a sleeve within a sleeve. When you open the flap you will see that it's actually two pieces of material held together by a zipper. When you open this zipper it reveals another pocket, a bit bigger than the one the tablet goes in, but this pocket is made for keeping stuff like your power adaptor, cleaning cloth, etc. Since the secondary pocket is completely separate from the one that the tablet goes in you don't have to worry about scratching the tablet. It sits snugly inside it's own dedicated pouch!
I wish there was a picture of this zippered pocket on the images I found both at Best Buy and on Init's website. Not showing the extra pocket makes it hard for people to understand the true utility of this sleeve. (UPDATE - I have taken a picuture of mine, a dark green model and shown it below).
Currently this case sells for $24.99 at Best Buy which I consider a total steal! I will be using mine as the primary case until a better portfolio sleeve comes out but I will keep this around for use while traveling, or tossing my Tranformer in an overnight bag.
Good Luck!

Hi XDA! convolution here with another review on a product. This time, it's a privacy screen protector:
http://www.tmart.com/Privacy-Screen-Protector-for-LG-Nexus4-E960_p171644.html
I actually just wanted a normal screen protector, but I didn't read carefully when I ordered the product, so when I opened the package, I was really surprised that it was a privacy screen protector. Pictures are below. It comes with one small microfiber pad, and one screen protector:

RIGHT: WITH PROTECTOR
LEFT: WITHOUT PROTECTOR
The screen protector affects the screen color and brightness a tiny tiny bit when you look at it straight on, but one gets use to it really quickly. If you tilt the screen 35°-40° left or right along the vertical axis, you will not be able to see the screen anymore. I actually had a man comment about how he was trying to look at my phone but couldn't, even though clearly he could see me texting away. He was standing about a meter away on the train at the time.
So I guess bottom line is, if you're a girl who gets creeped on all the time by guys, you will definitely want to get this. If you want to watch porn on your cell on public transportation, get this. If you like sharing the screen with friends, you would want a maximum viewing angle, and this is definitely not for you.
this can be useful if it can be peeled off and reapply again... which is what the product cover seem to suggest?
Hmm screen protector to have bad viewing angles ! See people not everyone wants good viewing angles ( Sonyhaters)
i ordered the exact same one, got two both have dents. screen protector is not perfectly clear of bubbles. very thick and indeed very bad viewing angles (well it is called privacy protector).
Is it normal for the screen to like this after applying the screen protector? Or should it disappear after some time?
Merry Chrismas and advanced happy new year to all
This is my first tutorial....So plz be soft with me xD
This thread is for making vinyl skins for mmx a110 using photoshop
Materials Required:- Photoshop,Knowledge in Photoshop,Some cool skins,Steady Hands,3M Glossy stickers or transperent film and Patience
Coming to the procedure:-
1)Download the given basic layout in the attachment.i have made each and every measurment perfect .even tho be carefull about the measurment.
2)Open a new project of size 3 inches width and 6 ines hieght and resolution of 300 pixel/inch.now using the front layout and back layout given below edit ur desired skin. you can google it for skins but i have used http://www.vinylskins.com/ for source
3) now using photoshop edit that skin to fit layout . BE AWARE dont cover the harware keys area .
4) After completing ur skin save it as jpeg.
5) Now Print that layout on glossy paper which is easily available in local shops and digital printing shops.
TIP:- Use 3M brand stickers because it does not leave any residue on the phone while removing the skin
You better print those skins on digital printing shops because they have a good quality of prints
6) From the printout cut the holes and excess parts
7) Now Care fully set it on the phone and make sure the measurments are correct. Now remove the sticker from the printout and paste it on the phone with great CAUTION !!! :cyclops:
Thats it ....... MAKE IT SIMPLE :silly:

hey its nice cool could you please also tell where to acquire 3M Glossy stickers or transperent film ... in india ... & more
screenshots
U can get it in digital printi g shops .its cost is less too
I recently purchased a Note 7 and didn't want to wait for an online order or pay $50 for a case so I purchased a Samsung official S View clear case for the S6 Edge+. The actual size difference does not prevent a secure fit and it was advertised on the Best Buy site for $25 but rang up at only $15 in store.
Currently it does not appear to enable any special functionality but does provide a translucent window to preview the screen. The camera is a perfect fit and the device clips in securely enough to hold it by the case and not slip loose. The S-pen requires removing the bottom right corner to access (or possibly altering the case).
May not apply to other accessories or case designs, especially full body cases. This is an alternative to long delivery times, ordering directly from manufacturer sites, and the ridiculous cost of "premium" accessories available at this time.
Photos would be welcome

Thanks for those. Can you get the s-pen out reasonably easy? Can't tell if the corner covers it from that photo and looking at the ones on vacation Amazon (cover is $20 there), it looks questionable.

Looks like this one covers the bottom corner of the S-pen while the proprietary Note 7 S-View case clips to the right side and stops at the S-pen with only a little extra on the bottom left to compensate. Somehow it almost appears less secure.
Personally, I don't use it enough to justify the extra $35.
