Try mounting the SD card in TWRP settings.
Or
Copy the Rom to the 8 GB SD card. Flash it using TWRP/ Then when Android is booting, put the 32 GB SD card in.

Iknow that's a option to but I wanna use my 32 gb card thats why I bought it .

easy sd question

Okay, just got a new 8g class 10 sd card... do i need to format it with a fat 32 part and an ext? For my g1 i had a fat32, ext, and swap...
Depends on the ROM you're using. With stock and CM7 you're fine with fat32.
thanks. So if I want to switch around ROMs I should put an ext partition on there?

quick question: Can the xoom take a 64gb sd card?

Hi,
just a quick question, does the xoom support a 64 gb sd card?
thanks
I tried, Xoom to my knowledge supports only upto 32 GB external SD

Yes, you can use a 64gb sd card in it as long as it is a sdxc. The one thing i will note however is that the xoom won't format it directly (recovery might, but i never could get ics to format the bloody thing.) You will probably have to use another phone, or a pc(which has additional complications) to format it.

Phone Not Reading SD Card

Is any one else having this problem?
Can it read other SD cards? My wife has received three 64GB microSD cards in a row,all from different stores, that were bad and wouldn't mount in hers or my phone. But we can mount any other SD card fine. They do have a high failure rate. You can see it all over the forums here.

I've had this problem with a 64 class. 10 sandisk. Card. Recognizes fine in my wife's s3 but mine it doesn't. Her is stock and I'm rooted and rom'ed. Going to try and Odin stock with it installed and see if that fixes it. Then just reinstall cwm and rom

Most custom roms won't recognize a card formatted with exFat. You will need to format the card with fat32 to use it...

Formatted with dos cmd prompt app I found online and now my phone reads the card

We need to compile a list of ROMs that support exFAT. In this day and age of huge capacity sdcards and the ability to rip movies, the lack of exFAT support is becoming a major liability.

[Q] Rom that supports data tobe in exsdcard?

Hi guys would like to ask if what rom can i use that supports installing game data on exsdcard? I bought a 32gb sd card but i can't install anything on it aside from movies and sounds and it's pretty useless i think. thanks

Thanks i'll give it a try. thanks again
I am using the Tsunami X ROM and created a custom flashable boot.img that does this at boot time with no scripting. It can be flashed from recovery, but it is only for this ROM. If you could not solve your problem with the script and you switch over to TsunamiX I can give you the ZIP that will do the trick

Typing in swift key3 from tiny explorer with ICS
Should I go for 32 gb or 16 gb card .
Sent from my HTC Explorer using xda premium
My suggestions is use 8 or 16 don't go for 32 ..because it's bigger for our phone performance.
It's may result in performance degradation.
