Hi,
this is the whole situation guys,,
the tab is 7.7 3G model (P6800) running 3.2
I used odin so I can flash offical ICS using firmware from sammobile and the pit file they provided ,,but Odin always crash at the end and I turn off the device by force.
after a while I flashed CWM recovery using odin and it worked so I used external sd card and flashed this ROM with CWM
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1520888
and the device booted ok but the internal memory say total space 441MB when it is actually 16GB !!
did I broke my device ? please help guys I beg you.
Did you tick Repartition in ODIN when flashing the ROM ?
If you did that might be why.
However here are 3 ways of how to repair this :
1) Find a PIT file for your specific model (in your case you need a PIT for P6800 16gb)
and flash it with ODIN with repartition ticked (put the PIT file in the PIT slot, obviously)
I can only provide a PIT for P6810 16gb model, but google might help you find one for P6800 16gb.
2) Repartition /data (mmcblk0p9 for P6810/mmcblk0p10 for P6800) manually through adb using parted and e2fsck.
(I can give you further instruction about this if the PIT file didn't work, however it is likely you won't get ALL of the internal storage capacity back with this method, although you can manage to earn a few gigs)
3) Send it to Samsung so they repair it for you (if your warranty can make them repair it for free, this is the solution you want to pick)
This reduction of internal storage is typically what you get after fixing the SuperBrick bug (MMC_CAP_ERASE) that our tab suffer from.
But apparently you didn't have brick as you can boot your tab and odin didn't get stuck on Factoryfs.img
Hope it helps, do not hesitate to ask for further help.
I can't and won't be held responsible for any harm made to your tab or whatever
You can also try this to make your external sdcard work as an internal sdcard : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1491954
i've got got more complicated problems

At first i want to root my galaxy tab plus but ,after applying the update.zip the cyanogen bootscreen stuck and rotating and never boot into OS
Then I've tried to flash it with odin but it won;t boot too.
then i broought it to Samsung Service Center, and they said that the Internal memory and mainboard is crashed.
Is there any help??
When I check out my available storage, it shows nothing for USB internal storage. It only shows the "Device Memory" of 1.97gb as the total space. If I put in an external SD card, it does show that. I know that it will not show my full 16gb, but there should be an un-mounted partition of approximately 10gb free.
I think it may have happened as I tried installing a couple of roms. I installed the CM10 JB and a stock rooted 4.04 one. I just got the device and it came with 4.03 on it. I have tried reinstalling different stock ones and they all show no internal usb storage anymore. How can I tell if there is an unused partition on the device? I have ADB/Shell access, but not sure what commands to use. When I go to CWM and mount the "USB Storage" it doesn’t mount it.
I have tried to fix permissions, reset everything and installed the stock rom from odin and CWM. I also tried CWM 6. I appreciate any help on this matter.
Thanks.
I had the same problem I solved it by using .PIT file with stock ROM
and repartitioning when using odin
I am attaching the file please use it at your own risk
I am not a devoloper

I just tried that and i'm still having the same problems. This is what I did. I put the file you gave me in the .pit box and put the Russian Stock 4.04 in the PDA box. I made sure the Re-Partition box was checked. Do I need CWM installed before I do this? What stock file did you use? I appreciate it.
I just tried it again with Odin 1.87 and it worked!!! It now saws I have 12gb free. Is that normal? I assume therest is reserved for other things.
Thank you so much!!!
One more question. Should I have a seperate partition for USB storage as I thought I did before? It use to say 1.97gb of device memory and 10gb of USB storage.
where did you download odin 1.87 the latest version i know is 1.85?

Actually, 12GB free is normal. the other 4 GB is reserved for system(software/apps)
Whats with this idea that the pit file is a silver bullet for everything?

I suggest to try the pit file with extreme as i know it reformat and repartition system partition so if used incorrectly could miss up with system and brick the device

Hi, I'm having the exact same problem, did all mentioned above And I still have lest than 2GB of memery, depending on the ROM i flash, ODIN gives no errors
Update: in ODIN deselect reboot, after flash reboot manualy to recovery and select factory reset - reformated and worked
installed the rom "V28b Prerooted with larger System / Data Partitions" in order to install the rom "Darkroom Music Edition XXL", already tried several times and nothing works, put the rom in the internal memory card, do the wipes that are sent in the tutorial, and nothing but "Security error" out, what am I doing wrong? Or the tutorial is poorly explained? Usage of the TWRP v28b rom that is on the site of the tutorial.
Someone put this tutorial could be clearer?
For large partition v28B, after flashing it you must enter System Settings/Storage and erase internal memory (not external sd ) to format internal storage, before anything else.

you say the "wipe internal storage"? but I put the rom in the internal memory, and when I do it and then when I go to install zip (if the rom) everything disappears. What do not know what else to do to with the rom 28b installed again, but now so I will do the procedure again when you have a more concrete solution.
After flashing v28B Large, start up the phone (follow the Android guy to start the phone the first time). Then erase internal memory in Android System Settings, not in TWRP. Yes, it will erase everything in memory. It formats the memory to be 'big.' If this is not done, a ROM like XXL can't fit, that's why it fails to install.
If you look at system memory available space and internal memory available space before you erase... after erasing you will see a size difference.
Then copy ROM zip to internal memory (or micro sd external memory), enter recovery, perform wipes as indicated, and install ROM.

Choose your country's firmware from here http://lg-phone-firmware.com/firmware-Lg+Optimus+3D-Tutti-2.html and then extract the kdz file you downloaded to bin and fls files with this tool http://d-h.st/kIz
Ok I looked over there; that ROM requires wkpark custom bootloader 1.25a. That may explain the trouble. So enter TWRP, first install wkpark 1.25 and then the ROM.
There are links someplace to stock v30A but an alternative is XBSA v8, no custom bootloader required. After installing v28B, installing XBSA v8 updates firmware to v30A.

You need to flash different recovery its in rom . Find
VERY FAST
VERY STABLE
VERY SMOOTH
LOW BATTERY
MADE BY DARKROOM
Then picture above and text above thats it read it and change recovery.
Try this before you give up on this rom its 1000000 times better than stock.
Hi Guys,
After a lot of trials and errors I finally succeeded in restarting my device. My current os is android V4.0.4.
My Tablet is GT-P6810. Tab is rooted.
I have been struggling with low memory messages and problems ever since I can remember. That was the reason I started installing custom stocks in the first place.
Now I am trying to find a solution to this low memory problem.
The first hurdle is to find out which memory is the problem.
On the forum they are always talking about low RAM, and the fact that Ram is only about 819MB. However, when I check my memory with 'link2sd' I get the following data:
Intern: 72 % free - tot: 12.96 GB, used 3.57 GB, Free: 9.39 GB
SD-card:72 % free - tot: 12.96 GB, used 3.57 GB, Free: 9.39 GB
SD-card second partition 'not found' (which is logical since I haven't made one yet)
System: 10% free: Tot: 819 MB, Used: 729 MB, Free 89.64 MB
Cache: 97% free, Tot 197 MB, Used: 4.15 MB, Free: 193MB
Also see the screendump attached.
Internal and SD are the same. This seems logical since Samsung is clearly stating that the internal memory is simulated (by using part of the SD-card.
All the programs are talking about is to increase the cache. My cache however is still 97% free. So no problem there, and I do not need to increase my Cache.
However, System memory is very low. I presume that what most people are talking about is actually the system memory. If I am correct, that is the one I should be increasing. :crying:
I must point out that I recently checked my P1000 device and that has a systems memory of 1.5 GB. Imagine. And a device like the P6810 only has 819 MB !!!???
The P1000 has been running for several years now with a multitude of programs, and being used by myself, my wife and my daughter with no problems what so ever (except the ones I created myself). :silly:
Finally my question: Does anyone know of a method to increase not the cache but the system memory from 819 MB to let's say 2 GB ?
I would be ever so grateful. Finally I would be able to use my device the way it was meant to.
ps: I have tried the roehsoft 'memoryInfo & Swapfile Check, and my device is not suited for the roehsoft app.
To expand partitions you will need pit file for your device, then make a copy of it and use a pit file editor to shrink partition after the system partition, then add remaning value to system.. then flash pit with heimdall or odin.

Hi,
Thx.
Would it be possible to elaborate a bit more, or to point me in the direction of a link where the actions you described are explained a bit more in depth?
Also questions like how do I know the pit-file is the right version? ...

Beste,
I have been looking now for quite a while, but could not find any further information thath could help me do the things you suggested.
Would you be able to give any more tips ?
sorry dude, don't have windows, so I can't help out directly, how far did you get?
did you get the pit file and editor?
As we know there is a PIT file to flash in Odin3.
I want to if someone has a PIT file for GT-i8262 and how can I customize to get more Internal storage space?
