Can not push recovery to HOS

Hi,
I recently relocked my HOS for the official JB from HTC. I have come to say it sucks monkeyballs. Now I tried to unlock, push recovery from TWRP and CM10 on my phone. Well, I can not do those things.
I can succesfully unlock my phone (wich it is now) but i can not push any recovery. It just stands there in Command Promt: waiting for device. And my device keeps in fastboot... I don't know what I can do
I have used Hasoon's tool, used it solely via cmd and fastboot. It just doesn't work .
Can anyone help me out?
Thanks!

Got it to work!
Used 5 different USB cables and one actually worked :'). Don't know how and why but it seems that this cable let it go trough. I am fully rooted now and everything.
I find it very weird to see it is a cable issue

[Q] No USB on any rom

So usb isn't working on any rom I flash and it's been like that for awhile. It first stopped working about a week after I flashed viperxl 3.2.3 and hasn't worked on any rom since. I've tried aosp roms and sense based ones. I'm running hboot 1.09 and I'm s-on because s-off was found after my usb stopped working. It's not a driver problem because I've reinstalled those and tried using a different computer running a different OS. I also don't think it's a problem with the actual port because the thing charges fine and windows 8 says "USB device not recognized". I've ran out of ideas so I'm asking for help now.

Like I said before, I don't think it's a driver problem. Back when it was working i didn't need to install any drivers for it to mount in my Linux os and I've made no changes to the software that it's sporting but now my phone won't mount.
Was just suggesting different things to try. Maybe someone else has had the same problem and can help. I only had it until I updated viper. But I have windows 7 and linux. I know there are different drivers for windows 8.

Bump. I'd really like to be able to get S-OFF
Maybe try wiping and reinstalling a later version of viper or maybe another rom all together. Any jellybean Rom will have mtp instead of disk drive.
Sent from my HTC One X using xda premium
I am currently experiencing the same problem. Some more info that might help in finding the solution is that fastboot works. I can see my device listed when I use fastboot. However, adb does not list the device.
I've tried messing with changing drive letters, Reinstalling HTC sync, trying usb debugging on and off to no avail.
I also think it's not the drivers, because fastboot works. It may have to do with how jellybean and Windows 8 talk.
One last thing I tried manually adding the hox as a device. And it sees something called "Evita" but when I try to add it it asks for a wps pin.
Hope this helps.

Lots of people have reported these issues with the jelly bean base. It appears there are some incompatibilities that are preventing the phone from communicating with the computer.
The only things I can suggest are the usual tricks:
-Remove and reinstall all drivers (even if you think that's not the issue).
-Be sure your SDK is fully updated. If you dont have it installed, install it.
-Change ports/usb cables.
-Try a different computer.
-Power off and reboot phone while connected.
One of these may solve the problem.
I tried an ICS viperxl build and still no USB, any other suggestions?
Download the latest windows HTC one xl usb drivers.
Steps for installing the driver: 1. Right Click on Computer -> Properties 2. Click Device Manager in the Left hand pane 3. Find your HTC Device under USB Devices or Android USB Devices. 4. Right Click -> Update Driver 5. Locate the extracted directory containing the driver i.e "HTC_Driver_64\HTCDriver\Driver Files\Vista_x64" 6. Click Next and install the driver.

It's either a driver issue or a hardware issue. I'd try it on another pc or set up a vm, try different usb cables/ports as a last resort before ruling out the driver issue.

I'm pretty sure its a phone issue. I've tried multiple computers and cords and I've installed the drivers for my phone on them and no luck. I don't think its a hardware issue for my phone because I can charge just fine from the USB port. I think its a firmware/software issue

[Q] Cyanogenmod install problems

Just tried to install Cyanogenmod for the first time but i am also stuck like many others. So excuse me for any noobness.
Got an HTC one S. Installed Cyanogenmod 1.0.0-ville (stable), rooted with openrecovery. Forgot to wipe the data and cache before install so thought that might be the reason for not getting past the Cyanogen BOOT screen, did it afterwards still no response. Followed instructions coming from this thread but am stuck with he ""waiting for device" error when executing fastboot flash boot boot.img. I think it has something to do with not having the USB debug mode. Fastboot doesnt recognize the device.
The thing that puzzles me is that at point 2 of the instuctions USB debugging must be enabled, how can i check this mode is enabled without getting into the Android device settings?
Sounds like a driver issue to me. Have you used the phone on that computer before.

Hmm... Maybe try re-installing HTC Sync and the drivers on your PC. This post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1604677 has a link for the drivers.
Just curios - what hboot, radio do you have? Are you s-on or s-off? And what TWRP version are you using?
Did you make a backup you could restore?
**Edit**
One last thought, what ROM were you running before? Was it stock? I'm wondering if you could flash a rom that works with the stock kernel (maybe TrickDroid 7.0?). It depends on what you were running before. Other option is to run an RUU to get back to stock, and then start from scratch. Can be a pain, but will give you a fresh start. I'm sure those aren't the only solutions, as I'm still learning all this stuff.
Good luck and feel free to ask questions...

[Q] Evita is bootlooping, won't go back into TWRP

The title tells all... essentially I went to install a ROM, and boom. Just boot loops the HTC dev warning screen. I am able to get into my bootloader but I can't get into TWRP recovery. I also just got a Mac Book and I am not able to connect via fastboot. I think I may be doing something wrong, but I'm not sure. Could I have some input on my predicament?
Thanks in advance.
Edit: I created a guide on how to fix this issue. You can head on over to Team Nocturnal's XsMagical's Thread to see it.

It shows up as nothing. The only things I can mount is /data/ and /system/. And those don't come up as anything. However in my disk utility app on my mac it shows that my phone has 10GB of storage and it recognizes what it is.

One last thing I can think of is to go into Settings/Power and disable Fast Boot, I'm not sure if it'll be there though, I can't remember if that was introduced on 4.1 or 4.2.2. Otherwise I think the usb port on the device might be faulty.
