I really don't understand the new dialer, it shows my contacts in random order, anyway you,can arrange them? And the 3 big buttons what are they? Speed dial?
Also, how do you see statistics for all ur outgoing/incoming call duration? How do you even see single call duration?
Thanks in advance

Dialer app > little clock at the bottom left corner > Select a contact > you have the history with the duration of all calls.

Hello. I just received my Galaxy S 4G today and I was wondering if there is some way for me to send certain contacts directly to voicemail like I could on my previous phones? I've looked all around and couldn't find it.
Possibly a great app if it's not available?
Thanks for the help everyone.
_edit_ for the record I tried this:
From any Home screen, tap the Menu key.
Tap Settings.
Tap Call settings.
Tap All calls.
Tap Auto reject.
Tap Auto reject list.
Tap Add number.
Enter desired number.
Tap Save.
but that doesn't send the calls to voicemail, and then it shows that I missed 12 calls from that specific number at one time. It's crazy. I need it to go to voicemail specifically. Thanks.
On any given contact if you bring up the menu, you'll see the option to add to ignore list. However, I have other issues. I have 5 contacts called Spam, and between them there are more than 100 numbers. After adding the third contact to the ignore list, I got a message saying that I had crossed 100 limit and that I must delete some entries to make space. This is annoying. I wish someone figures a way to send a contact straight to voicemail.
Ah miui allows u to black.list calls n send them to. Voicemail

EDIT: "maybe some of them can kick directly to vm" is what I left out.
I chose an option to use just my normal dialer by default after installing Google Voice. It popped up when placing a call. I now want the option to dial calls through Google Voice but cannot find how to change default setting. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have the phone system setting set to vibrate on incoming texts but its not working with any market sms app i try to use. I've tried go sms and pansi but neither will vibrate when i get a text even when both the system and app setting are set to always vibrate on invoking sms. I did root my phone but i don't think that has anything to do with it
I'd check your settings in sound, and sound/vibration intensity.
There are two you will want to look for:
You can find widgets to toggle through them, but I would be willing to bet that in one of the two sections you have your vibrate for notifications to be turned down, or turned off.

yeah, I already checked those...
Messaging > menu key > settings > (scroll down) vibrate > always.

Is there any privacy app which can hide any predefined number when call comes from the number or when I call the number.
Like it hides the call screen and don't show either the number or the name. Maybe show a custom screen or image.
If not any way I can do this with tasker ?

You could probably use Full Screen Caller ID HD app and customize the caller preferences to display a certain image and turn off the number display, etc..

Just got my G and loving it, How do I turn on Vibrate when my call is answered, I find this very useful and I havent been able to figure it out. I'm on KitKat btw.
Thanks
cannot find it
bump
Well I can't find it either, so it seems like this setting does not exist for the moto g.
I totally misread the question. Sorry for that.

You can do it if you are rooted by using xposed + gravity box.
Call settings is not a seperate entry anymore. Go to the dialler, tap on the 3 little dots in the lower right corner, settings, tick vibrate when ringing

Is that really the same as vibrate when the call is answered? (Or maybe the question poorly phrased?)
