Need HELP creating a new host for roms!

Hi,
I was thinking in creating a new hosting for ROMs, where the developers could upload their roms and share in XDA.
If someone would help me doing this job, I will thanks.
First of all I need to choose an domain name... Ideas?

But with torrents is hard to download for people who dont understand too much... Direct download is easy and fast, I will make direct links with instant download and all divided by cathegories.
Really need help finding a good name for the webpage... Hope someone could help me, I pay the domain and the hosting, no problem with that.

Can any1 tell me if i want to start a unofficial update center for android
so want i need
i mean any1s permission from xda or company (htc, sony, samsung, lg, asus etc) or indian government ??????????????????????
and also tell me that it is legal or illegal to use ur devs stuffs (roms - kernels ) for business purpose i mean i will only use ur stuffs as urs i m not going change or make any changes in ur stuffs coz all credits is your so i just want to know plzz answer me as soon as possible!!!!!1:good:

Not sure what you're asking here. What is an "unofficial update center"? You don't need anyone's permission as far as I know to update anything officially or unofficially.

In what way would you use this for "business" purpose, like you are going to charge people to flash their phones with ROMs/Kernels from here?

It's not illegal, but ethically speaking you might contribute some of your profit to the developers whose work you use.
This site is not about money or profit but learning to develop and contributing and forwarding the general mobile community.

I was trolling. The site is going to impossible to get off the ground and the minute you put proprietary files on there and charge you'll get a cease and desist order. It is morally and ethical wrong, and there is no need for it.

I tend to just put sarcastic remarks on these silly threads. It was the notion that only the US president had to be asked & it started me wondering who originated this site.

[Q] Where is best site/place for Pit/firmware files ?

Hello , i'm finding it impossible for finding original pit file for Samsung GT-i9192 phone..... I really need all the files and everytime i click on a link , usually the Hotfile isn't available all these other places have loopholes sign up for this and that.
Can someone PLEASE tell where best place to get secure stock and pit file for this phone---- Samsung Galaxy S4 mini __ GT-i9192

Admin , could you Please refer me to safe reliable non live link then ?

First official am a mod not the admin. As for the links I have no idea where you could find a trusted rom. You have to be very careful on flashing roms from UN trusted sources. They can contain key loggers among other things that could mine your personal data

Ok sorry about that Zelendel.... Well i'm in need of all the factory files including the Pit file to load into Odin to try and get my semi-bricked phone back to operational.

Couldn't have said it better.
But tbh it's pointless saying it, because there are always people lining up to do this sort of crap. So instead, if it doesn't boot, I point it out to a mod who snipes them

The operator himself have not tested this rom and hopes somebody else will test his rom. if its brick then the tester is responsible so what the use of the operator for releasing such untested roms

if somebody download it means people downloaded it and does not mean they have tested it. If they have tested then why nobody confirms it.

Simple explanation
The most simple answer to 46 people downloading is they have downloaded the rom and kept and as soon someone reports working with SS all the people who earlier downloaded will jump to install without wasting time. At least that's my theory!! Also, I guess the OP himself is doubtful of his own work that's why maybe he didn't report any success.

your logical is more logical than the operator. Moderator should delete this thread

Well, I will chime in here.
XDA is a learning place. It's a place where people share knowledge.
However, it does not mean it's a place for users to be "reckless" in posting works that have not been tested even by themselves or associates. This isn't the place for it.
If it is a recognized developer, or a member with a broad knowledge and history of how android works on devices, then it's usually not an issue. If it's just somebody "farming for "Thanks" or "Donations", then this isn't the place.
Which brings us to this thread.
The OP either doesn't own the device, or is not willing to test it on his device, hasn't tested anything as admitted, and hasn't got a clue if it even works. In fact, the Original Post gives me doubt about anything.

[Completed] my huawei ascend y600 stuck

hi to all...i hope i didnt post this into.wrong section...
i got this huawei ascend y600-u151 month ago...already root...at the 1st.hand this phone is good to use...then suddenly i get the baseband unknown,imei null so my simcard doesnt work wit it...and to say that i accidently erased my original recovery mode when try to.installed.cwm...so now my phone only stay at.huawei flower(logo)and its stays till battery drain...try to flash using pc.installed everything according what i can found on web...but pc only detect as removal storage..when click its says pls insert disc or something like that...i try vol+,vol-,anything that can make my phone goes to recovery mode..but none succeed...i out of hope already...can some1 pls help me...i dont mind to donate paypal to any1 that succeed..in very deep hope...
