Hi guys,
I have bought an Anextek SP-230 PC Phone, and I read that QTEK 2020/XDAII has this little program included in the ROM file.
Considerating that Anextek PDA has already the necessary Registry Keys and I need the Sim Toolkit as I perform serveral banking operations, I would like to know if someone can send it to me, because I tried to dump it from the XDA Rom and from Extended Rom but without luck.
Thanks in advance
Here is the version from my imate (ROM 1.72).
I don't believe that it will work.
I hope there are all relevant files in the zip....
Happy trying...
Stefan
Thank you very much for the attachments.
All the libraries are already present in the PDA; the program launches correctly, however unfortunately I think that the program handles in a wrong way my SIM card driver and is unable to find the services (because it says that "there are no applications installed on your SIM").
However I would like to thank you guys again.
Glad to help. Sorry it does not do what you wanted it to.
FWIW - it does the same thing with my SIM, T-Mobile does not put apps on the SIM.
I'm quite sure that in Vodafone IT 64k SIM cards are present some apps (they also offer the possibility to change the installed services over the internet ). I fear that QTEK/XDAII has a completely different way of handling SIM because also MMS Composer runs perfectly but is unable to detect the contacts (Anextek Sim Manager instead show them correctly)
Im also having an issue on the sim toolkit for my xda2.
My sim has mobile banking installed in it. When the xda2 is fresh from a soft reset, the application on the sim is accessible, but after a while, it tells me that there are no applications installed in my SIM.
Does anyone know how to solve this? I hate to have to reset my xda2 everytime, the sim toolkit tells me that there no applications installed.
Thanks
Hi,
Are you using SpbPocket plus 2.1? It may be this one that's causing your SIM toolkit not to work... just maybe... [/quote]

re:
Yes i am. It could probably be the reason. Is there a work around? But i also noticed that when i use my wife's sim card, it works fine even after a while
Well, I haven't figured out yet a workaround for that. I am not using Spb Pocket Plus now since I noticed it is also slowing down some of my apps...
i found the workaround. I disabled the CLOSE button in SPB pocket plus. Disabling the CLOSE button also solves the unwanted Hard Reset and duplicate sent SMS in my case.
That's great! I'll try to do that...

for starters in order for android to work you need to remove the sim cd is only useful when yor traveling out of the country you dont need a simcard here in the states and all the developers I talkwith will tell you the same thing next thing do you ve a rom that is rodium cdma compatible I know 95 civic has a pretty stable I had a collectionsog roms like calkulins that worked great when you dual boot PM ME and will send them you to that way keep in mind I am not a developer nor am I taking credit for any ones work im just point you in the right direction, although might suggest my favorite rom from BigNadad
I fin the to be more stanle and hs always updating and after a fresh install do a hard reset and everything will work.
i installed this rom on mine a week ago, and everything works great. Only thing that does not work for now is the camera functions. Other than that, network, gps, google navigation, everything works great. am not going back to win 6.5. android is much better.

Maybe for you, but the 'not working' portion in the thread itself says Bluetooth isn't working (a major showstopper for those of us in 'hands free' states)
Yep need the bluetooth
Anyone getting a fully working version of android going on the CDMA touch pro 2any time time soon? If you have any info on this I would love to hear it before I go and upgrade at the store. Thanks

can i still change back to my win 6.5? cos i most definitely will need my camera sometime
Camera WORKS on android, follow the guide in my signature and you should be up and running in no time.
You will have both windows and android on the same device. Android will reside on your SD Card and you can run it from within windows whenever you want to. (there is a .exe you can run)
Bluetooth is the only thing on android not working (froyo).
On gingerbread GPS and Bluetooth don't work I think...

u need to format ur card with hp tool or sd formatter(i used this one). once u do a full format u'll be fine
If I have to go through this in which I was thinking about trying xdAndroid on my tp2, I might as well wait a little longer until the next build is fully functionable.

Actually if you go into the android development forum and go to arrrghhh's FRX06's thread and read the FAQ along with the entire first post and also read ryannathans's thread titled introduction to android-sd card, you'll be fine on it. If you are completely new to it, don't start making tweaks other than updating the kernel (read about this in ryannathans thread), read and follow instructions and you'll be fine. Now you won't have working bluetooth at that point, but hopefully that's in the near future and good things come to those who wait. If you'd rather wait for the new build FRX07 whenever that might be, that's fine too, but IMO give FRX06 a shot, play around with it and you'll be better informed when FRX07 is released.
So I'm currently on cm9 using owain's rom.
I love it and its perfect, but I'm having a small problem that makes an even bigger problem.
My problem is - when i connect via usb to transfer files and what not its always stuck at discovering item and it never moves. eventually i feel like it doesn't respond.I can't seem to fix it, i can't transfer files even through recovery(mount usb). And when i use another g2x model which is running on the same rom and all it seems to work fine. When i can't transfer files it becomes a hassle getting it through another way onto my phone, which is why i said its a small problem but leads to a bigger problem.
Does anyone know if they can help me out? Please and thanks!
Try flashing. Harshes newest kernel. It may be: included in the rom but I've found all of the features don't always work unless flashed separately.
i tried that and it still doesn't work. pretty weird.
make sure you have a factory cable
Worse case scenario, get an SD card reader?

I also had this issue with HFS 1.8 when transferring files to the Mac via the android File Transfer App (It would connect/disconnect-not enable file transfers). There are several other functionalities still missing from the ICS build that will keep my on GB for now (HFP2.2).
My question is simple. Is it possible to "migrate" (aka copy) the wifi networks stored on my phone via a file or something and open load that file on my tablet so that i don't have to revisit each location and connect to the network to store it on the tablet.
Ifso, what do i need and how do i do it?
im thinking it should be possible with https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.roamingsoft.manager, can anyone confirm this?
Well since i just bought the tablet i decided to try it out. It worked. Backup settings on phone, copy the file to the nexus. Start the app, hit restore and you're done. Maybe this will help people in the same situation.

Look for Instabridge in Google Play. It's even better... All my buddies are using it.
Prior to upgrading to Kit Kat FoxFi worked with no problems. Since upgrading it won't set up because it's asking for a Credential Storage Password. I've researched this and can't seem to find the answer. One solution was to keep putting in a wrong one and eventually it would erase the storage and allow you to set a new one. I did that and it didn't work, but it did erase all credentials.
Now I'm at a loss. I'm not sure if it is a software issue that FoxFi needs to work out or a security block now in place with Kit Kat.
Any thoughts? Suggestions? Ideas?
After a bit more research looks like this is being discussed here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2543259 for the Moto X. Same problem for the Maxx. Hopefully FoxFi fixes it for us.
