Says in the op take the boot.img out of the zip and flash it using fastboot

I tried all servers now. some of them twice but no chance the zip's are broken - also the boot.zip is broken.
EDIT: Okay, here's the boot.img I am using that I rooted for the 1.40.401 base

Theres a lot of different methods and files out there but some of the other methods dont seem to work for everyone. This one has worked for me and some others on ViperS rom specifically, and made it flashable for a very easy installation. Should work on all ics roms.
Note: Sorry for any issues earlier, hope all is fixed now.

I thought I fixed this. I updated the mirrors so you may have the original corrupted file. The new file should be labeled SIGNED at the end. Make sure to delete google quicksearchbox from your system also beforehand. I reverted to a backup, and followed the above steps without issues.

Delete the old google quick search app. Flash and then long press search button for voice commands.

Whats the name of the file? The original file was corrupted but the ones up now should be fine. The new file should say signed.zip at the end. I flashed it without issues. I'll try downloading and checking again in case the file was corrupted during file transfer.

they all say multiupload.biz .....all have (signed) before the ending , i tried every one and i even tried to unrar and then re rar it again but when i do that the phone does not see the file i made with winrar

yes please do because i really don't want to throw my sensation across the house ....frustrating to say the least mate ...but thanks for posting i really do appreciate that , now if i can get it to work witch i am sure it will when i get a uncorrupted file .:good:....update i just kept trying over and over to flash and finally it took ...WTF?..i would still maybe work on updating or re zipping the file ...thanks....well i tried it and it crashes ..back to the drawing board damn it !!!

Wipe cache and davilk? I'll check everything out when I get to my computer. Shouldnt crash unless you don't have ics. I'm on sense 4 also.

Nothing at all. Leave it as is. You can try flashing the zip through 4ext or extract the system folder in root explorer and paste it to the root of your phone and merge contents. Reboot.

I downloaded "mikeyxda APK version 2" Offline/online. It's easier to get working and doesn't require any deleting. Just a simple flash via recovery, confirmation of settings through a file manager and you're good to go.

-U haven't explained method to flash this firmware.
-U haven't provided any info regarding deodexed variant like, it is debloated? How to flash? Does user needs to flash stock ICS first before flashing it.
-U haven't provided info that after flashing stock ics don't wipe data using CWM or stock recovery as it could cause super brick.
Kindly provide some infos, not all users are unable to understand what are this files for and way to flash. Users can go on a wrong way and can cause harm to their devices also.

Im unable to root once i install ardadat kernal it unroots itself.. after that how many times i try.im unable to root
i checked its link but it very confusing didnt understand where to click for download

Can you explain more on the situation? Why you feel that it 'unroot' itself?
Are you using SuperSU? Don't use that and use Superuser instead. My next version will not restrict the use of Superuser. Thanks.

Actually, why everyone is downloading the OTA release but not the custom CWM flashable one? This OTA contains the stock kernel which contains the eMMC bug and will also overwrite the recovery.
Also, is this thread already mentioned in the 'general' section? Why we need to duplicate here? Thanks.

Here you are Odin flashable kernel file. It do not increase binary conter, tested myself. I just deleted other files from original FW.

No need. I removed md5 just. Because when it was there I couldn't remove other files from stock firmware.

ur odin flashable kernel saved me i was on siri kernel and was trying to flash CWM..it kept giving error (i forgot that shaaan's CWM worked on stock) so i thought something was wrong and factory resetted"! if nt for odin and cwm i would have to stup the phone and download the emulator and then flash!!

Is the same update that hit all nexus devices. No 4.4 yet
I went ahead and accepted the update. I am 100% stock (including recovery) other than root. Update went ok but killed root. I re-rooted by sideloading SuperSU v1.65 and all is cool again. Now on build JWR66Y.S003.130805. No idea what changed but at least I don't have to stare at the update notification any more. :good:

I will if someone can show me how to pull it off the device. Never done it before. Hopefully it is still there even after installing.
Just write adb pull /system and you should be good to go or just create a backup and upload system file
