In separate partition, that you do not see in explorer.

No, it is not.
Here you are Odin flashable kernel file. It do not increase binary conter, tested myself. I just deleted other files from original FW.
Stock kernel XXLPY.

I had some problems with testing kernels, so I had to make this. :angel: And not to flash whole fw. Had some strange powercuts at home, and I didn't want to risk that it would happend while Odin install bootloader and download mode.

No need. I removed md5 just. Because when it was there I couldn't remove other files from stock firmware.

ur odin flashable kernel saved me i was on siri kernel and was trying to flash CWM..it kept giving error (i forgot that shaaan's CWM worked on stock) so i thought something was wrong and factory resetted"! if nt for odin and cwm i would have to stup the phone and download the emulator and then flash!!

you can open the tar and remove the modem or recovery or kernel... but thats about it..

if you want to kang the files, just extract the factoryfs.rfs by mouting if you are on linux if not by using ultraiso on windows...

Extract is as in get all the .apk and system files? Or extract as in pull the .rfs file out of the .tar file?
I tried mounting the .rfs file in windows and cygwin. No dice.

of course not.......deodexing doesnt mean only removing the odex files....the odex files are packed in the *.jar and *.apk files!
Another question, the script does not have any command to copy the files contained in the two directories ( app and framework) in the same directories in ROM space. Do clockworkmod automatically ?
I'm sorry for all questions but I'm curious to know how it works.

get the CF-ROOT FILE for KPQ posted by GANESHBIYER and flash it in ODIN as PDA, that would both root ur device and also enable CMW on ur lovely device hope it helps!!!

Bro if you that new, you don't know how to flash cwm then just read and search on net regarding this.
This is for your own good believe Me.
Just try by yourself first by enter into recovery mode.

I know how DEODEXED device without CWM, using a PC (WINDOWS), need ROOT and BUSYBOX
Instructions:
You must be on firmware installed ROOT and be sure to BusyBox in the / system / xbin /, it is possible to install the files of this: busybox.installer. In the internal phone memory (sdcard0) should be free space of at least 1GB. On the phone must be turned on debugging USB. Deodexed downloading just unzip it with any archive, connect the phone to a computer via a cable usb in the unzipped folder, run the batch file DEODEX_ME.bat, when prompted, press any key and wait for the process to complete. During the phone SuperSu ask for permission to deodex. Provide. At the end of the process the phone restarts. All you have firmware deodex.

Deodexed Files can be better modified. Odexed files can't. So you can install S4 Statusbar other Lockscreen or what else. When you have a odexed stock rom it won't work.

Says in the op take the boot.img out of the zip and flash it using fastboot

when I try to unzip the file, it gives the archive corrupt error, this is the exact report:

I tried all servers now. some of them twice but no chance the zip's are broken - also the boot.zip is broken.
EDIT: Okay, here's the boot.img I am using that I rooted for the 1.40.401 base
