[CWM][ROM][ICS] UCLE2 Leak flashable zip [4.04]

Much Love to my Skyrocket Brothas and Sistas.
Here is a Flashable zip of the stock UCLE2 leak for your device. Not a system dump, but the pure files from the zip taken from the Odin package.
Will not break root, but you need to flash superuser.
Also, this does not destroy cwm.
Use it to your heart's content.

I am wondering this as well.
Is this rooted or just stock??

It's not rooted. It works with Rogers. Doesn't seem to update the modem file.
I'm having trouble rooting it now. Keep getting stuck on step 5 with SuperOneClick. Gonna try some other methods.

I heard that the Odin was successfully rooted by flashing superuser in cwm
Sent from my I727 using xda premium
Yup. I just flashed CWM with odin and then installed superuser through CWM and it's rooted now.

So since this is cwm flashable doesn't that mean well still have cwm to flash the superuser.zip on top??

I didn't even try to boot into CWM. My understanding is that the ZIP file contained the files extracted from the oneclick. The oneclick installed a new bootloader which would have wiped out recovery, so I just installed CWM with odin based on the assumption it wasn't there.
Op updated

[Q] Rooting Infuse from Gingerbread?

Hi all
I'm new to this stuff and want to upgrade my Infuse from Gingerbread (which I installed via Kies when the update was finally made available) to Jellybean. However, from what I've gathered, I can't use the Super One Click program to root my phone with 2.3.6, and since I'm new to this, I don't want to brick the phone. What would you suggest I use to first root the phone? I have found plenty of stuff here, but I am unclear whether I can use the stuff posted since I've already upgraded to Gingerbread (vs. the 2.2 stock). After that, am I correct in understanding that I then just back up my info via something like Titanium Backup and then pick a custom ROM I like and flash it? Thanks, and sorry in advance for what I am sure are really stupid questions.

thanks! so just to confirm (sorry, i am still unclear about all this stuff): i download odin and whatever option (you suggest c), along w/ the kies drivers. i install the kies drivers on the phone, then reboot in download mode and run odin. and this will take my version of gingerbread and make it rooted? does it wipe the data off my phone? if so...is there any step along the process in which i can back things up? if it doesn't wipe the phone, after its rooted, i can use one of the programs (like titanium backup) to back up my data, and then install whatever ROM i want, right?
thanks again for the help!

Well with the option C u will get gingerbread 2.3.6 with the red CWM recovery and root at the same time so u can istall a custom rom and yes this procedure will wipe your contacts, messages, apps etc. To use titanium backup u must be rooted there is a way to back up your data i gonna look for the link and share with u.

It's 6.0.2.3
From my experience if you flash cyanogenmod and you have an older cwm, it will update your recovery ( should you have an older version, note that this was right after ICS came out, so that may have changed-- I was using a Samsung galaxy captivate then)

Help to Unroot-Back to original

Hello All.
So I rooted this S3 when the latest firware was the 4.2. My wife took the OTA update for 4.3. The phone did not brick or lock. Now I need it back to original but everytime I book the phone it says the SAmsung logo and at the bottom it has an open lock. Also when on download mode it says it has a custom firmare and has a counter. When I ran a root check software it says it is not rooted. When I do the Vol Up+Center+Power it do not go to custom recovery no more(I believe I had clockmods ot TW) I just need to have the phone back to original so I can sent it to verizon since I upgraded phones. Thank you

I would like someone to confirm, but from reading bits and pieces over XDA I think I understand how to root and install cm12.. So I'm on the updated stock lollipop. I understand that you can root with the one click program and install twrp through something like flashify. Once in recovery I need to flash the 20g bootstack and the JB bootloader, then I can proceed to flash cm12 and gapps...if that's right, someone please let me know.
