TWRP 2.6.3.0 doesn't "see" external SD Card - Asus Transformer TF700

I downgraded TWRP 2.6.3.1 to 2.6.3.0 to try some of the KitKat 4.4 alphas, but 2.6.3.0 from this thread's http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2531665 initial post, does not seem to see my external SD card, so I scrapped the testing as my nandroids are stored on my external microSD card.

Same here
Want to try BigPart on Xoom, but my TWRP 2.6.3 won't detect my SD card either. Try formatting it to FAT32 to no avail.

Whats the Best Custom Recovery Verizon Galaxy S III?

Just like the title says, whats the best Recovery for GS3? Is it CWM Touch 5.8.4.9, CWM 6.0.1.0 or TWRP 2.2.0?
The most current version for clockwork is 6.0.1.2--there's a non-touch and touch version.
Personally, I prefer the Clockwork touch recovery.

Ok so CWM Touch 6.0.1.2 is your choice, have you tried TWRP 2.2.2.0? I like TWRP but want to know if its stable enough just like CWM Touch 6?
cwm 6.0.1 works on everything for this device.

Maybe I haven't searched around enough.. But I'm still kinda confused on why I can't see my external sd card
I reformatted mine to fat32..So for now I'm moving files between internal and external to flash
Was kinda hoping a different recovery would fix that =/
CWM 6.0.1.0 regular version (not the touch version) works perfectly for me (& I've done more than one full restore with it) so I have no reason to even try anything else at this point.

I have tried TWRP and I kept having difficulty flashing from the external sd card so I tried CWM touch and haven't had any problems. A lot of people have said TWRP is fully functional though, so I'm not sure what my issue was.
cwm 6.0.1-whatever version is latest. Hasnt given me any issues so far!
Running latest twrp here and loving it. Best recovery imo

Possible it was the internal card that wouldn't work--I really don't remember

[Q] TWRP Install CM10 TF300t

I have been trying to install CM10 / CM10.1 nightly on my ASUS Transformer TF300T (0b05:4d03). I have TWRP 2.5.0.0 installed. I have CM10 w/ gapps 20121011-signed.zip, CM 10.1.20130417 w/ gapps 20130301-sign.zip, and the JB_kernel_10_4_2_20 w/ gapps 20121212-signed.zip on an external SD card.
I click install and load the two zips into the queue, it runs and exits with successful. When I reboot it loads the ASUS logo with a blue load bar, restarts without the bar and hangs.
I had previously tried to do this CWM 5.5.0.4 and did a backup (which won't reload).
I am currently at a loss at what to try now.

What is your current bootloader or firmware version. Had you updated to android 4.2.1 before flashing recovery and what version of twrp are u using. The more information on how you got to this point the better.
I had updated to 10.6.1.18. But was unable to get CM10/10.1 to install. I rolled back to 10.4.2.20 with TWRP 2.5.0.0 and successfully got CM10.0.0 to install.
I'm not sure why I couldn't get CM10.1 to install, I had TWRP 2.4.4.0-42 on 10.6.1.18, but couldn't get TWRP or CWM (6.0.2.3) to mount the filesystems.

CM10.1 hasn't been updated to the 4.2 bootloader. Now that you're back on the 4.1 bootloader, it should flash fine.

[Q] I can't seem to change my recovery.

I seem to be unable to flash over my current recovery, TWRP 2.6.0.0. I tried to flash CWM through ROM Manager and through EZ recovery and while both said they were successful I am still on TWRP. In fact, I distinctly remember flashing TWRP 2.6.1.0 last week and I still seem to be on 2.6.0.0. Does anyone know what the problem might be? I am currently rooted, bootloader unlocked, and running mastamoon's CM 10.3 unofficial. Thanks.
Don't flash it through Rom manager. It don't work. Flash it through Odin

If your .Img file is on your external SD card, move it to your internal and try to flash again from ez recovery.

Nope, no dice. TWRP refuses to go away for some reason. I managed to update it through goomanager, but flashing anything other than TWRP just won't work. :/

[Q] Can't Mount SD card in TWRP [Solved]

Hey everyone, I'm new to rooting my device, I couldn't unlock via HTCDev, so I used Firewater and flashed TWRP; now when I try to make nandroid backups or flash a permanent root, I can't access the SD card, only the Internal.
Everything mounts fine on my computer when the device is turned on, so I don't know what to do!
Thanks!
What version twrp you using, try flashing newer

Update: I've figured it out on my own: I needed to update TWRP because the All-in-one toolkit had an outdated version. here's a link to download the image (You have to manually flash it through fastboot):
