The Story :
At first this was a project started by S.a.M.e.R_d and E.l.I.e_a And we arrived so close to releasing , but after e.l.i.e_a got banned , we deleted all files concerning KingCobra JB Sense 4+ as he was the biggest contributor in it and Kernel Dev , so his return to xda was imaginable . After taking some crap from user's "They Know There Selve's" ."S.a.M.e.R_d" Founder Of KingCobra Rom's And "TheRinseM" Lead KingCobra Rom's Developer and CO-Owner started making a new plan which was eliminiating sense 4+ and going directly threw sense 5 so after hard work and against all odd's we did it . It was the hardest thing we did till now in KingCobra .

Are there any plans for Sense 4.1 on JB?I really don't like Sense 5 that much, and I'm sure I'm not the only one..

@S.a.M.e.R_d as a team mate of yours I am going to try help fixing this with you since i still have the htc desire hd...... okay so when my other team infernal ported sense 5 and sense 4+ we could never get WiFi working even when we had all the proper files there.... But one day I did a lot of reading and research and couldn't find a fix at all. And I took a few gambles and got it working and I'll share a few things I did ..
1. Make sure you have all the proper files that made WiFi work with sense 4.1.... Sounds crazy but my old team did it
2. You might have to hex edit WPA_supplicant and point it to the correct modules
3. If none of them work still then keep what you edited jn the rom there and delete this file "android.hardware.wifi.direct.xml" located in "/system/etc/permissions/" And reboot.
For sound try using
1. Sound files from HTC Desire 500 files
2. Sound files from HTC Desire 600
3. Or from the DHD sense 4.1 system
And about camera.. You won't be able to fix that because that's kernel related

There's no script in the ROM. Flash something, e.g. mounts2sd.

Known Bug
Some apps from market are installed to sdcard by default, because it's pre defined in the AndroidManifest.xml of the app.
No problem so far, the apps are working, but as soon as you open the app manager, your phone takes a soft reboot.
If you move these apps back to internal storage with titanium backup, everything works fine again.
And I can't find a way to fix it.
Any suggestions...?

how's the bluetooth and wifi? My only concern in all the new 4.0 and 3.6 sense roms is the bluetooth. Cos i'm using a Sony bluetooth headset.

By default not working, some files removed from ROM to avoid errors.
Now all sound effects working and very good!!!

SDCard mount, FM Radio working due to this.
Most of the library was left with the original One V ROM. Not everything works but this is a real hope for complete success.

Yep, sense 4 comes with ics...
Hey tested and installed perfectly fine but i only have wifi on this phone and that just gets an error when starting I already rebooted the phone and same issue.
Have seen Roms in far worst states then this. Ie HTC stock gallery is working, unlock speed is amazing, music volume is really low as stated before but doesnt really cause much slow down on unlock or use.
Ill test out more once the wifi is working im just kinda dead in the water with out that....
But regardless def worth trying it out ISC and sense 4.0 are awesome Awesome work

If OP says that it works with cm7 hboot, I presume that it works with stock one too. At least you will have more MB free in /system

It would work with stock hboot but then you'd have plenty of free space wasted in the system partition since the installer wouldn't install more files on there. There's pretty much no point using stock hboot if it doesn't take advantage of it though.

Could you please provide us another mirror link? Something like 4shared or Mediafire? Would be great as I downloaded to 99% from dev-host and the downloading failed... Otherwise thats something great to be seen, I didnt expect to see any more Sense 4 ports. Hope nonamer does that 3.0 kernel so we will have something very innovative as development.

sun_dream has had 2 previous releases from the 1.29 base - this is version A03 and looks like it's from a different carrier to the other 2.
slow to download so can't comment yet on the rom itself.
this guy does some good stuff, so probably worth a try.
download server is soooo slowww... 42 hours to go... any mirror maybe?

You might be best using twrp 2.3.3.x...2.5.x is known to have issues with OneXL. May not fix your issue but will help in the future

I've finally got it downloaded - about to flash.
I think the wifi tether thing is more of a workaround than a fix, but I'll let you know.

so I got it to boot. also got it onto English which helped a lot
wifi tether is just an apk that is in addition to the 'stock' tether. It works fine, but would most likely work in any rom.
I'll have a play with the rom and report back further, but it's complete stock (plus a few added apks in system/app). stock kernel, no APM etc.

hmmm, has periods of really laggy performance, especially at start up and when downloading from Play Store. Tried flars kernel but didn't make any noticeable difference. When it's not laggy it is smooth and quick, but laggy too often for me to use as a daily. most likely something minor causing the problem that hopefully sun_dream can sort out quickly.

Q) How to flash this ROM?
A) 1. Ensure you have S-OFF or Bootloader Unlocked
2. Boot into recovery by holding volume down and power
3. Wipe data, cache, boot and system, ensure you
have a nandroid at hand.
4. Flash the ROM, and any OTA's if needed.
5. For S-ON devices, you may need to flash the
boot.img manually, so go to the zip and extract
the boot.img file to a location with fastboot in it
and open up Command Prompt. Type in
"fastboot flash boot boot.img" without quotes
Q) Is this ROM usable for ROM projects?
A) You will need to ask me for permission to use this
ROM in your project.
Q) Do I need to be S-OFF?
A) No, above are the instructions for S-OFF and

A) I used AAHK, but now it is retired, there is an

not all issues are related to kernel. Most of them are in HAL's

Alright guys, what I've seen going on in this thread should not have happened and will not continue. If you have a bug to report, just report the bug with a log and move on. There is absolutely no reason to start a thermo nuclear war just because the rom isn't booting at the moment.
Stop all the bickering, name calling, off topic posting, and lets get this thread back to the discussion of development.

Finally someone with education and Intelligence.
I am not an user of RandomRoms, but i think respect is always important and always needed.
And Developer of these Roms, have hard work that others do not have or do not even try.
So even if the Rom do not boot, just say/write that and decide yourselfs to not install anymore this Rom, or wait for a Stable functional Rom.
Because you do Not have the rights to be uneducated people and call names and be agressive/offend Developers that are here to help US for Free!
If someone did all the same with you guys (the uneducated guys that offended or called names) you certainly would not liked that too, right?
And without all our developers, being Master Devs , Great, only Good, or beginers not so good Devs...we always need to thank them all, so our Device can still survive to future =)
...and try to break the Guinness Record of Most/Longest supported Device =D LOL
