Does it vibrate/bottom lights come on if you press and hold the power button?
Try removing the battery, put it back in, hold volume up and down together and while holding plug the phone usb into your PC ... What happened?

If you have had problems since day one you might have bought a bad phone to begin with. I've never heard of a phone working fine and just brick all of a sudden. My guess would be hardware failure of some kind.

2. what if i send back to samsung USA to repair the phone, it is still under warranty, maybe they can replace it?

if it is hardware failure, then JTAG can fix it, i think it was JTAG service which fixed it last time..
so why does my phone get bricked after going through JTAG service?
------------------
i think its the power button issue, isnt it? bec there have been many reports about this power button? or not?

My phone hanged (froze) when I was answering a call.
Screen went partially black and was not responding.
I switched off by long pressing the power button and now the phone won’t start.
Removing battery, SIM card, microSDHC doesn’t help.
I also cannot enter Recovery mode.
I tried unbrick with this method but when connecting computer detects new hardware omap4430 and after 1 sec omap4430 disappears/disconnects and then connects again and immediately disconnects and again…
The same both on Win7 64bit and clean installed XP 32bit.
ROM ThiaiZO3D V2.1 GB
Please help.
edit:
I was searching this forum and found similar problem here. So is it hardware problem (PCB)?

I tried it, phone is still disconnecting when I hold volume up and power or when I hold any other combination of keys.
When I connect the phone (with battery) and press only power I hear sound of connecting device in windows and then immediately disconnecting sound.
So it looks like the phone wants to start but something is damaged, blocking (I think it's hardware problem). Also in the past it hanged many many times (but I was able to restart until the last one).
Right now phone is on the way to service.
Thanks everyone for help.
I will inform about results of repairing by service.
Same exact problem
Got the same exact problem with mine. It's a rogers LGP925G and no matters if I install the driver or anything nothing is doing the trick.
I'm going to drop it at rogers tomorow for warranty repair/replace and hopefully Lg staff won't be able to see I changed the software since it's impossible to even have the phone connected to a computer.
It happened to me when I tried to format a 32GB sdcard on cyanogenmod7 nightly 5
I'm not blaming cyanogenmod at all, it's a great rom and I know the maintainer is doing a great my dream and nexus one are still running uber fine on both of them.
So it's only to try to see what can have cause this problem and if there is a crosslink to do with both cases.
Also did you tried warranty replacement? did it work??

But I have still some problems (black screen freezing)
how i unbricked my O3D
Its rather simple really.
the easiest way is to just download the software update software on lg site for phone model. launch the software. Take out battery, attach usb to pc, then hold volume up and power at same time, the software will see phone, select customer support then recovery – type IMEI number and then software will just re download and flash the phone to repair. this is the way that LG software can repair a rooted phone gone bad, though LG will not tell any1 this when u call them, i work in the industry and a former LG technician mentioned this to me. worked a treat when i thought i bricked my O3d. Also this usually just does a repair installation so usually it keeps all your settings.

it told me to format the "sdcard", i did it. But, it told me it had only 128kt memory? WTF? i did it, and after that rebooted. or no, i shut it down
and then no boot. no download mode. i tried http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1244490 but no, it just lags, device manager refreshes 24/7, finds it every 5 secs... I WAS AND IDIOT! DO NOT DO THIS!

Ahrrr...... Exchanging PCB??? It might be expensive. But I didn't do anything to brick hardware. :'(
Could you please tell me how much it is cost to exchange PCB?
Well I got it for free... that time my phone was still under warranty, and it was just dead, and I knew there was no way they(servicing people) would know about my rooted phone, so its dirty but I told them it just died, and got it replaced for free...lol... so I don't really know the cost...lol
If ur phone is still under warranty, maybe you could use the same technique ...
ICS stock recovery hv problem, many people have become bootloop / hardbricks after wipe using stock/temporary recovery. If u want to flash official ICS, u need to flash CWR to.
Hardbricks mean your main board dead and need to replace the new board.

Edit : it's possible that the tablet goes to a deep discharge condition, very dangerous for Li-ion batteries...

So I have a One S that is not hacked in any way, and I was doing an official update from HTC/T-Mobile to it when I lost internet connection. The phone powered down afterwards (acting like it had completed the update). Now I am unable to power it on at all. When I plug it in no light turns on, holding down the power button does nothing, and holding power down and volume down does not do anything. How might I be able to fix this. I looked through the forums but I haven't seen any one having the same problem with a non-hacked One S so I was not sure what I should do.
Any help would be great!

Your phone bricked during an update. It's not that uncommon as doing a large update writes lots of important files. So maybe you got a bad download and here you are. Since you never unlocked you should just submit a warranty claim.
HTC phones come with a 1 year warranty. The phone hasn't been out for 1 year so you're good there.
The only problem is I bought it from a friend so T-Mobile wont do the warrenty because they say it has been used on another account prior to mine

Hey guys I need some help asap! I have had my Nexus 5 for about 2 weeks now. I had rooted it and put in cwm recovery. The other day I had switched over art from Dalvik. Later in the day I was using linux deploy from the app store. About an hour after when i was browsing the web the device returned an error stating that the devices memory was full..... I knew there was no way. I powered off the device and that was the last of it. It does not power on in the traditional sense it does not go into recovery it does not go into fastboot and it certainly not the OS. Just a black screen. However it does get recognized as a QHUSB device when connected to a PC after fussing with the drivers adb or fastboot drivers no matter the version do not work the device will appear in device manager as though it is there but running adb devices or fastboot devices returns no devices. After extensive driver version attempts and toold nexus rootkit etc i have found that the slightly responsive driver for anything is the LG AndroidNet Diagnostic driver. Although QPST hangs when trying to download via Sahara and CDMA workshop will connect but it does it fails when trying to read from phone. I know there are tools for devices in the same situation. Is there one for the nexus 5? Or can someone help me recover this bad boy? This version is the google play version and not the t-mobile or sprint variant. HEEELP!!!!!!!!!! Thanks.
Try to turn off your phone. I know it looks like it is turned off but it's not. Press power button about 10secs then release it and then press and hold it with the two volume keys. You should find yourself in the bootloader and there you could flash stock rom back.
If that not works. Connect the phone to the pc. Open up device manager. Press and hols power button and when the qhusb dissapears press and hold both volume keys while you still pressing the power key. You may end up again in qhsusb, try to wait a little bit more with the pressing both volume keys after each try.
I hope it will work, but I know a guy who bricked his device like you with cwm, his phone also appears as qhusb device on the pc and he could not recover.
Tha last thing you can do is send it back to google to recive a replacement device.

If there is no traces or signs you removed the battery (like finger prints or damaged back cover) then google will never find out you have custom rom on your device, because they cant turn it on. It does not worth the effort to google to somehow hack the data out from the broken flash chip. What they will do is that they try to turn it on, then they see it is not possible so they flas stock rom through qhusb ans that wipes all the data of your phone and reformat everything. Or maybe unbricking the device does not wort the effort too and google just send you a replacement device.

You are asking for help with it. To answer your question. It's called jtag and lots of people know how to do it. I'd look for "mobile tech videos". QHUSB is a true brick.
EDIT: Or you could just RMA it. I think that might have been what you where asking to begin with. lol
@joutcast dude it sounds bricked. I'm sure Google will give you another device if you RMA it.
I'm very serious. Im Not being smart about it. I highly doubt Google will do anything to check unless you left obvious traces of it being tampered.

You need to JTAG it. It'll cost you about $65 and you'll have a working phone again. I'd check craigslist for JTAG in your area, a lot of people are doing it now.
And stop being so sensitive.
Work the problem and not each other.

Sensitivity is what I do best LOL. I went ahead with the RMA route and have been with out a phone for over 15 days. The reason being I am unemployed and could not afford the $450 for an advanced replacement. I still have not heard a peep out of Google as to when I can even think about getting a tracking number from them..... What cracks me up is the fact that if I had done an advanced RMA the hold on my card would of fallen off a long time ago and at that point they still would not have any security on the device. Not only that they have had my phone since Tuesday of this week.
