This comes up everyday on my device, anyone have any idea how to stop it? I'm on att and yes my Sim card has been it and never removed.

Could it be your SIM card occasionally loses contact with the phone because it's a bit loose?

Just get a new sim card.

Id take the sim card out and wipe off the contacts a bit. Make them nice and shiny and then put it back in.

I wonder if its a hardware issue. If I close it I still have signal. No need to restart

Get a new sim from your carrier.

I had the same problem, eject the sim card and put it back in, make sure it's all the way in. It has not happened since I did that.

yea, seems like a contact issue, try reseating the sim, if that doesn't help i'd just go to att and ask for a new card

No service issue (baseband issue)

I have sent my phone to rma twice with no positive results. I'm having issues connecting to the network. Every time I put my sim card in my wife's phone it shows no service where it should show t-mobile.
I have the same rom on both phones. I have the July 15 baseband. Please help. If I call LG again is there any possibility they send me a replacement phone?

Might just be an issue with your sim card. Have you contacted T-Mobile about it? That's where I'd start.

[Q] 1 number 2 phones

Hello,
I have the SGIII and a droid pro. I was wondering if it is possible in anyway to have the same phone number on both phones with data and all that? Thanks for the help!
No

thanks lol
You can probably imagine why, lol.
Verizon wants to get their money.

This is possible with two 4G phones that use the same size sim. For example the S3 and any 4G phone with the smaller sim or the thunderbolt and rezound with the larger sim. Just take it out of one phone and pop it in the other.

This plus for example. If u have a smaller dim card like the nexus or s3. You can get and adapter son it will fit inside of a phone that requires a bigger sim.... I made my own out of note cards to use in a thunderbolt at work. You can always turn off the 4g phone and call to activate the droid pro..... problem is the second u do that your sim is no longer usable and u will need a replacement

[Q] How to check if phone is network locked

Hi everybody!
I'm sorry if there's an answer for my question, but i haven't been able to find it. I'm wondering about my One S, just bought it and I don't know if it's network locked. I know I can insert another microSIM, but the thing is I only have one, and everybody around me use regular SIM cards. There isn't a mobile shop for miles away, so...
Is there a way to check it, without another microSIM?
Thanks!
Why? What's the point? Your phone works right?

it's so great when a question is answered with another question...
please, any HELPFUL info will be greatly appreciated
If you don't know whether it's locked or not, you need another microSIM. If you don't have that, just continue using your phone as normal.

Switching phones with someone else.

My dad is due for an upgrade and is thinking of getting the s4. He doesnt really know how to use anything from a technology standpoint so he is willing to let me have it and he'll take my s3. My question is do I need to be completely stock to switch phone numbers etc...? Thanks for any help.
Sent from my SCH-I535 using xda app-developers app
Nah, just put your sim card in the S4 and his in the S3.

Hey thanks man. Do I need to activate his first or will mine act like a new one in the s4?

If you put yours in the S4 then the S4 will be active with your phone number. Your dad will have to get his SIM card activated to use on your S3
