My device shows up in both places just fine. Not sure what to suggest - maybe double check the gmail account names; make sure Play Store is installed and working on your phone; try downloading an app and see if your device shows up afterwards?

Stolen device and requesting some intelligent advice

Heya everyone!
Okay.
So I had a house theft where my Nexus 10 tablet was stolen.
I had Prey installed, but stupid me, disabled this from the Task Manager thingy thinking that it was eating up the battery, along with the GPS location option.
So both of those were not active at the time of the robbery.
I can go to the Google Play Store and see that it's being used every day, but it can't locate where it might be.
Two months had passed since then where suddenly I saw someone using my Pandora account and even entered in her real name.
After a simple Google search, I found her, including her address, and told a detective about this.
He stopped by to see her and she gave a good explanation, stating she no longer had it anymore.
The last time she used Pandora was the same day the detective was there.
I emailed Pandora if I could get an exact time stamp on the last song that was played and I'm waiting to hear from them.
I have a replacement tablet, another Nexus 10.
I can go online and ring the stolen device, lock it, or even erase it.
The tablet is still in my name even though it's gone.
Is there anything extremely smart I can do with this situation?
Thanks ahead.
-James
Since you are getting a replacement tablet, there is no need to get the original back. However, you might want to wipe it (as you stated you could) so nobody can use your Google account or take advantage of any personal info.
Change your passwords to those accounts you had on your stolen tablet.
Examples of accounts: Google, email(s), Pandora and all others which have a password.
If you had confidential information like your credit card number, etc, you might also wish to get them changed.
You should go online and disable your stolen device - erase and lock it.
Get over it bro. Buy a new one

Google Now: 'Navigate home' takes me to wrong location

Hi guys, I recently got a second Nexus 5 (RMA) and I've set it up and enabled Google Now.
Google Now works properly except when I say or type into it: 'Navigate home'. When I do so it takes me to an address in London but, I have my home address set to a location in Australia.
I've tried setting my home address in the Google Now settings and in the Google Map settings to a new location and changing it back, but it still takes me to the same London location. I've even cleared the data and cache of Google Search and re-enabled Google Now, it still takes me to London.
The previous Nexus 5 and all other Android phones I have had with Google Now have taken me home successfully.
Has anyone encountered this before or know of a solution? Its rather annoying.... I don't want to do a factory reset if at all possible.
How about if you say, "Navigate me home"?
Thanks for the suggestion but I just tried it and it still shows the London location.
I just got a Navigate Home card show up which is showing the correct location. For some reason when I tell it to navigate home it thinks I live in London!
/Edit
It has magically fixed itself.

[Q] Phone giving location when send SMS

Hello, I really hope someone here can help me out. My girlfriend has a GS3, and when she sends text messages to certain people, it will give her location automatically via text message. I have never seen it from my end when I text her, but just now I got this after I sent her a text message: "Attention word received, Getting location. Please wait up to 5 minutes for a response." and then a few moments later I received, " GPS location failed, Network-based location: Accuracy 30 Meters..." and then gave her full location; Latitude, longitude, speed, and bearing and then gave a google maps link to her location and the address of where she is. She has asked me to help get her to turn it off before, and I've tried to research it but have not been able to find anything. Please help!

That sounds disconcerting. Have you started with checking her installed apps to see if this is caused by an app? Is she the primary account holder for her S3? If not, is it possible a parent enabled this feature as part of the plan?

I just went through her apps and I did not see anything that may be giving away her location. I told her to go through and uninstall any apps she's not using, because I know she has a lot, so maybe she'll get rid of it then. And yes, she is the primary account holder, I was with her when she got the phone.
Either of you using the Where's My Droid app? Sounds like your triggering an attention word. Google "attention word received" and see if that helps you.
Sent from my SCH-I535 using xda app-developers app
Are you using stock message or Hangouts or third party?
