Just got my nex5 yesterday.
I am signed in and all settings including the ones within the chrome app are set to sync.
The problem is that all my bookmarks are not showing up on my n5.
They work just fine on my Gnex and Nex7 and also the desktop browser...
The only thing I can think of is that the chrome app on the n5 is a higher version number than the one on the play store.
If I recall it is 30.0.1599.105 on the nex5 and 30.0.1599.92 on the gnex.
Anyone else experiencing this? This is a major issue for me as I use my bookmarks a lot
Nobody else has this issue? Is everyone's phone running the same version of chrome?

I had the issue so I went into my google account, 'un-synced' chrome, waited a minute, re-synced and bookmarks showed up after a minute or less. Hope this helps
I'm experiencing this is as well... I haven't tried hobakill's solution yet though.
I did try that, I will try again... I wonder what's causing it?

I had this problem too and just solved it by disconnecting my Google account in chrome settings and then signing back in.

I got my invite on Wednesday and added all 3,000+ songs but the only thing that is showing up in my music app on my Xoom (and Droid x) is the free 100 songs or so that Google gives you when you sign up. I made sure that my Google account is selected in the Music app settings. I tried clearing data/cache, uninstalled/reinstalled music app but still nothing on either device. When I go tto settings > accounts and sync > Google account there is a red exclamation point next to the "Sync Music" option with the error message "Sync is currently experiencing problems. It will be back shortly." Anyone have any idea what is going on and how to fix?
I guess that's why it is called "Beta"?
or they could be having problems. Stop freaking out.

Well that's why I'm asking, seeing if there are any others experiencing the same problem. No need to be an asshole

I'm not. Mine is uploading all my music right now. 1900 of 7589 lol. Both devices are syncing for me. My nexus and xoom
I have close to 6000 of 15729 on the Xoom now. Its working. I would let google know.

I seen that red dot next to syncing problem. They're having some sever error probably. I clear the cache and restarted and the next morning it was working again.
I've been having the same error on my SGSII and my Xoom.
Galaxy Tab 10.1
I am still having sync problems on the tablet but my HTC thunderbolt syncs fine. Anyone else experiencing something similar? I realize it is beta but just curious if others are seeing the same thing.
i emailed Google and heard back. They said they were experiencing problems and that it should be resolved within 24 hours.
My tablet now seems to be fully functional! Awesomeness
Got invite for my verizon xoom, registered, and I can play music fine via web interface.
My tablet won't sync though
I do not have the 'music' sync option in settings->'applications and sync'.
How do I enable that ?
(I don't have it on my phone either, if that helps)
Me neither...I get the options to sync BOOKS, GMAIL, CONTACTS, DOCS and CALENDAR...not MUSIC though. This is on a DroidX that just got the Gingerbread update

I also have a DroidX with Gingerbread update and my situation is the same as yours. No Music option in the google sync. I have uploaded the music (took almost 24 hours and the wifi connection was painfully slow during this time). I see the music online but not on the Droid.
Same problem here. My Samsung Galaxy S2 has the "Sync Music" option but not the Xoom!
Hello
Since i got my Xoom, the facebook app have been a little dodgy.
Whenever i try to browse my friends list the app force closes. It has always been like this. Even the new version that came out today does this.
Anyone know a solution to this?
On my Nexus One this works fine.
And also, after adding an facbook account on the Xoom in Accounts, the facebook acount isn't visible like it's on a phone. How come?
I have the same problem I think I updated facebook 3 times since with no difference. really annoying if you wanna check yourself and friends in somewhere and then the dam thing crashes.
Hoping this will get fixed at some point

Have you tried FriendCaster? It doesnt crash at all on our Xooms. I wound up buying the pro version because I just thought it would take Facebook forever to fix it.
FB app sucks on hc. I just use dolphin browser for my fb'ing. Saves the headache.

I tried searching for this problem on Google, but the only solution I came across was either by browsing gmail in classic or desktop mode on stock browser. I can't seem to delete a gmail email in mobile version. when I press the trash icon to delete an email, the icon turns blue to indicate that it has been pressed, but then it doesnt reload the page or delete anything. it just hangs..
since I am a frequent gmail user, I use dolphin browser instead, which works fine, but I still want to know what's causing the problem with stock browser. btw I don't use gmail app. my issue here is accessing gmail on stock browser.
thanks in advance!
edit: I am on stock btw.
am I the only one with this glitch? plz help
I dont have that issue but then again i use k9 email app. When i have used gmail via a browser on the phone i use chrome and dont have a issue

The app is far easier, I've found.
Nonetheless, I tested the stock browser and it does not actually delete any gmail items that I select when in mobile browsing mode. Works fine in Opera, though. I use Opera because it acts more in line with my expectations from a UI standpoint and rewraps text on zoom.
So, it's a stock browser bug, I'd think.

alright. thanks for clearing that up. I can't believe how Google's android stock browser has such glitch with gmail, which is also Google.
this is practically the main reason why I'm using dolphin instead. hope it gets fixed eventually.

I think google doesn't want us to deleted emails. Have you ever tried deleting your
email from the gmail website after not doing it fora few months? OMG! ITS crazy. First you can only do it 10 at a time and there may have hundreds or more, and each 10 take several clicks it can take hundreds of clicks! But if that's not bad enough if you want to completely delete them you have to do it all over again to delete them from the history and again from the trash.
Any reason you choose to use the browser over the app?

I noticed yesterday that my chrome bookmarks aren't syncing properly. I can see my individual bookmarks just fine but my folders aren't showing up at all on my phone. I googled this issue and others across multiple platforms are having the same issue. Anyone else? Any known fixes? It is more than mildly annoying.

Are you running Chrome beta or regular Chrome? If this is across multiple platforms it is Google's fault and I am sure they are aware of it. Did any post offer solutions?
I'm using standard chrome. I saw a post that offered one but it involved exporting and copying and pasting, not really a solution.

Silly q but did you check if sync is on for your phone chrome? Settings - your account name - sync? My bookmarks are stunned from desktop, tablet, and phone.
Yes, it is enabled properly.

Here's another silly question, You're using a Chrome browser on all of your devices, right?
Yes, I did some more Googling and found this. https://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=348385
Apparently it is a known issue.

I googled and found something from March but has anyone else had this issue and fixed it. It seems like it just started yesterday but I've had the phone a week.

Use your stock messenger app and see if you have a problem, if you don't the problem is with that hacky crap in Facebook messenger. Personally I don't give anything from Facebook more permissions than I absolutely have to
Yup, it's the fb app for sure =/. Has no issue on my Nexus 6 but on M9 it does. Oh well
