Samsung Smart Dock - Galaxy S 4 Accessories

I was using Samsung Smart Dock at my work place.
Samsung Galaxy S4 International version[from India] with 4.2.2 JB till recently. and the dock was working fine. i used wireless Keyboard and Mouse of Logitech with the dock.
A week back i updated the OS via PC Kies to 4.3 JB stock firmware.
After which the Keyboard via the dock stopped working. no input from the external keyboard is taking up in phone, however the mouse is working.
Note: definitely not an issue with keyboard/mouse or the dock. i suspect the Phone OS only. as the Keyboard area has also underwent some changes in OS 4.3.
have any clues about this???

SOLVED!!!
It was because of the OTA updates from I9500XXUEMJ5 ... I9500XXUEMJ9 of 4.3 Jelly bean
But once i Downloaded the I9500XXUEMJ9 directly and completely flashed the phone with it + a wipe cache, solved many a issues.
1. Bluetooth controls where not working earlier, now working properly[even earlier the song wasn't even heard], not its fine
2. Samsung Dock is back in my desk, the keyboard is now working properly.
only suffer i HAD is to again install from A to Z !!!!!! but worth it, as i am happy now with the results.

[Help Needed] Bluetooth Keyboard & Mouse Issue

Hi, My Note 10.1 is on Android 4.1.2 on Redemption Rom. Runs awesome. I use use a bluetooth keyboard with it every day, and today is the first time i connected a bluetooth mouse and im having an unusual problem:
With the bluetooth keyboard connected, when i connect my Apple Magic Mouse, when the mouse is connected if i am typing the keyboard starts putting in extra letters. Example:
"Thiis is aaaaan exampllle of typinnnggg on Annnnnnnndroid."
When this is happening, as soon as i turn off the Apple Magic Mouse, the issue solves itself. Then if i reconnect the mouse the issue starts again. Anyone have this problem? Could it be because of some incompatiblility of the Note 10.1 and Apple Magic Mouse? Or some Android bug?
I was having an issue each time i tried typing with the keyboard where the built in software keyboard would pop up regardless if the bluetooth keyboard was connected or not. I solved this by installing "Null Keyboard" which each time the keyboard connects i have to select the default input method, but this is a small inconvience compared to having the entire keyboard pop up.

Self problem on Galaxy Note 2 GT-N7100 Android 4.1.1
I have the sam problem but on galaxy note 2(GT-N7100)
when its connect if dont see the mouse courser....
anyone the self problem and know who i can change this....
Same problem on the international galaxy note 2 N7100
Confirmed
I've tried 2 different keyboards, the Logitech tablet and the Belkin folio, with an HP mouse, and when the mouse is on the keyboard gets flaky.
This is a big issue for everyone that wants to remote desktop.
Also, I'd say that the mouse seems rather laggy itself.
Where do we submit bug reports?

You can flash a different ROM (something that's not TW based) Also try switching different kernels. People have gotten it to work this way

bluetooth keyboard woes

I have a touchpad with dual-boot webOS/cm9-20130114-nightly. I also have a cheap bluetooth keyboard, all it says on the back is MODEL:BK3001BA, and a little fcc verbage. I have tried this keyboard with a desktop pc running windows xp, an ipad, an ipod touch, and the touchpad itself when booted into webOS. All of these worked.
If I boot the touchpad into android, I can see the keyboard, pair with the keyboard, connect to the keyboard, but cannot use the keyboard. I tried installing Bluetooth Keyboard Easyconnect, and it says Current Device = Bluetooth Keyboard, Service Status = ON, Bluetooth Status = ON; and, the bluetooth icon in the lower right corner is blue rather than greyed out. When I open the status window for bluetooth, the list of paired devices has Bluetooth Keyboard, with the word "Connected" under it. Why doesn't this work? Is there a missing piece I need to configure?
update
Tried most of the bluetooth helper apps I could find from the google app store. None of them worked except for Bluekeyboard JP. Though it does work, it's really flakey; laggy, frequent missed characters or double-hits, and every few minutes requesting the keyboard be put back into pairing mode. The lag, missed characters, showing two or three characters for one keypress, does not happen on the ipod, ipad, or pc. I'd really love a better solution than this, if anybody has any suggestions...
Have you tried any other Android ROM with your BT keyboard? I have been able to use my HP branded BT (the one intended for the TP) keyboard with SGA Fat N Creamy and with my current ROM, Oat Light N Tasty JB (Jelly Bean) ROM without a hitch. May be worth flashing a new ROM to see if it works. (of course, after making a Nandroid).

I started with a nightly build just after Christmas. Since I was having trouble I moved to the nightly from January 14, 2013. How far back do I need to go?
Pointless rant (hear me screaming wah wah wah between each sentence): What I don't get is, I can pair and connect the keyboard, so why doesn't it just show up in the list of user inputs? The other applications I tried all saw the keyboard, but none (except 1) of them would actually do anything with it. Even more bizarre, when pairing, I get a pop-up window saying type in this 4-digit code and hit enter on the bluetooth keyboard, and it works; the keyboard exits pairing mode, and the keyboard immediately shows "connected" under the device. Soooo, the android device successfully communicated with the keyboard ... wtf? I give up, just give me a terminal window and a text editor so I can hack up the config files myself. You know what would really help with that? A keyboard ... yeah... This is making me nuts. Ok, I feel a little better, despite being no farther ahead.

Well, neither SGA's Fat 'N Creamy nor OaT's Light 'N Tasty JB are "nightlies". And OaT's is a Jelly Bean (CM10) ROMs. Neither would be "going back IMO.
You will find info about the ROM and the actual ROM downloads (you can get SGA from Goo Manager too) in the HP TouchPad > Development topic.

I gave up & bought the factory HP Touchpad keyboard; it works out of the box, no issues at all, and no extra software from the google play store required. The bk3001ba keyboard looks a lot like an apple keyboard, but is all plastic, and most importantly doesn't work with the tablet. Works everywhere else though.

[Q] Bluetooth keboard connection problems

I have a Galaxy note 8.0 (GT-N5110) running Jelly bean 4.1.2 and a problem I've hit is that I am trying to connect a bluetooth keyboard to it and I'm having problems.
When I connect the keyboard it pairs successfully but it won't connect to the keyboard to use it as input it only pairs successfully. I know it's not the keyboard because this is the second bluetooth keyboard I've gotten that supports my tablet and it just doesn't seem to connect.
I have other bluetooth devices that my tablet connects and in and outputs to fine. The keyboard connects fine with my mothers iPad my Glaxaly S4 both of which fun most up to date OS. I factory reset it when I first got the tablet and updated to latest OS so I can't imagine it's a bug in the operating system.
With this outline are there any solutions I haven't covered or tried?

I don't know. It worked for my chuwi V88 (very similar to pipo), but i used a custom-Rom. Just try it.

Sorry, i have no experiences with pipo-devices. I only know they are using the same cpu, as my chuwi (RK3188), an this one is really powerful!
I had "ShareBluetooth"

[Q] HDMI doesn't work anymore with TF700

Hello everybody,
Yesterday I have got a system update message, I have clicked on yes. Then after one hour, the hdmi output has suddenly stopped to work.
I don't know what has been updated, android (4.2.1) or the firmware (JOP40D.WW_epad-10.6.1.14.10-20130801), the virtual keyboard is different now.
Normally a such issue would come from the firmware!?
I have tried to wipe data and power+lower volume, but it still doesn't work. I have tried another TV, same issue. The tablet even doesn't recognize the HDMI cable anymore. I don't have another device to test the micro hdmi cable.
The last time that I have made an update, the USB port was not working anymore, I had to wipe data to make it work again.
What can I do ?
My tablet is not "rooted" or "unlocked".

Well it sounds like you went from JB 4.1 to JB 4.2? Asus changed and broke some things with the HDMI output of the device. I don't know how to solve your issue but you can go back to the old firmware by using the firmware on the ASUS website.

[Q] Trouble with bluetooth input devices N8000 on official 4.4.2 update

I have applied the official 4.4.2 update to my Note 10.1 (N8000) using heimdall (as I did not have the over the air update yet). The software updated flawlessly and I do not seem to have any problems in that regards.
I am having trouble with bluetooth input devices. I have tried two keyboards (one unbranded and one Kensington) and a Penclic bluetooth pen mouse. All devices pair and are marked as connected, however the input is never accepted. In case of attaching the keyboard, it even is the case that the on screen keyboard won't pop up anymore. Also in the logcat I see that the devices are connected and recognized as input devices.
Some googling revealed that in general there are complaints about input devices with android > 4.2, however I am hoping that somebody has some idea or pointers on how to solve this (or where to look) specifically on this device.
