If the most bugs are fixed I will do that.

Has anyone found a good overclocking kernel for VZW s3? I've been running the JellyBam ROM and have been using it for a daily driver (I love the combined settings). I've tried to use KT747's 4.2 kernels, but I've just been getting constant reboots. Does anyone have any other good kernels for an aosp rom?

BMS is great. Rock solid and you can overclock if you want.

Can anyone provide a link? I've been having a hard time finding these kernels online. Thank you guys for the help. I'm fairly new to custom ROMs and kernels and all of your help is well appreciated.
Just flashed BMS. Love the performance. Thank you for all of your help.
Hello xda members.
I've got a question regarding kernels. How is one to know which kernel will work with there particular ROM? Are they all somewhat compatible just to a matter of degree? Or do people just find one that sounds good and hope it works on there particular ROM?
I'm running aosb end of the line ROM and I'm real curious to try out kernels now.
Any insight world be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
There are pretty much 2 types of kernels.
CAF kernels - Used for CyanogenMod based ROMS
NON-CAF kernels - Used for AOSP / Stock
Find out if your ROM is CM based. If it is, Look in each kernel thread to see if it mentions CAF.
Hi,
This rom is based on CM so you need a kernel compatible with CM roms like (or tagged with "CAF"): http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2551441 or http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2661397...
Maybe there is one or two others, don't remember exactly.

Since you are running aosb which is CM based Rom you can try the above 2 given and also the elemental X for CAF based Roms
thank you guys. now to go check em out...

Hi 69saimon69,
did you try both kernels? which one would you prefer? Actually I think both are not perfect for stock ROM. I think the stock 4.2.2-kernel just with OC would be enough.
Hi Everyone,
Can anyone guide me how to build kernel module for LiME kernel against N5 Stock Kernel 3.4.0-perf-ga6edd5e or CM11 Kernel.
If anyone have config.gz or module please share.

how many of these threads did you start? at least you posted this one into q&a. btw, you only need one thread, no need to spam xda with the same question.
Hello guys
I want to know how to add the OC support on OnePlus One stock kernel?
there is any guide which can help me?
thanks
OC support cannot be added. You'll have to flash a custom kernel.
ok but if i want to make a custom kernel, there is a detailed guide? coz i don't find it

There are countless guides on how to compile a custom kernel right here on XDA, you're not looking hard enough.
