Can someone make a cwm flashable zip of this as I cannot replace the version I have in system. I tried deleting in titanium, es explorer, and root explorer mounted and the old one themed cersion I flashed keeps returning. I'll upload it too. I even tried swapping youtube apk out of working themed ics apk in zip below. Stays the same themed version. Hopefully somone can wip this up real fast and upload it. The hd modded apk is youtube355.black and thanks go to theos0o for youtube hd mod.

have you tried flashing one of the insecure kernels as well? try that so you can get read write access. outside of that. you can try adb while in recovery.
I will look through my zips, if I have one that is for system apps only I will put it together for you

Whats the youtube filename currently in your system folder (mine is different since I installed that Mod normally)
if its just youtube.apk, try this
Didn't flash over the youtube ICS have installed. It might work for others. Anyone try?

You can try your self with this DXLL1 to your stock rom .
Make sure pull the framework-res.apk and android.policy.jar with rootexplorer or any file manager simillar with
Duplicate this stock DXLL1 on your sdcard and extract and replace file on it and zip again for
Antitipate bootloop
And now go into recovery mode and flash with my mod
Tell me if work on your stock rom

Thanks but I've done such experiments before and foreign system files always seem to either cause me bootloops or force-closing on certain apps once the phone starts up.
It's not a problem for me and I'm willing to try because I could make a nandroid backup now, etc, but the problem is I have trouble restoring my sd-ext and all of my installed apps are stored there so a nandroid backup and restore could remove all of my important apps or I'm not sure maybe it won't but I can't take the risk for now.
Please if you could do the procedure I would be very grateful. I've attached my framework-res.apk and android.policy.jar if you decide to do it.

Put method instead of Zip
You should post a full method of adding files in framework-res.apk and android policy instead of posting the zip.
SO that other users can use it also.

Hey guys!!! The other day i was trying to install some system apps from JellyBread ROM to my stock XWKTI ROM .. Looks like direct installation is not quite the way How can i install such apps from Custom ROM's to my Stock ROM?? I am a noob and just want some selected apps to be installed on my deodexed Stock ROM.
1st ensure that there isn't parse error. Then copy/paste all desired apps to /system/app & set their permissions as rw-r--r--.

In many tutorial i'm seeing some flashable zip files that can be flashed through recovery.
I have just flashed supersu which i'll need always.
But there are apps like xperia walkman & other app which require to flash zip through recovery.
What about removing them completely if i want in future.
Hi, I need the LWP for Android 4.2.1 apk and or a zip file for this as well to try to flash from recovery.
I can't seem to get the one I'm using to work, just keeps sending FC messages when I try to enable a wallpaper...
I guess it's not the right one for my Android version?
Or, maybe I have to flash a zip file for it to work?
