may i know the best governor for best performance and battery saving??
and pls tell me the difference b/w performance and hybrid??

1 Kernel SamePage Merging. after a lot of search , most explaination is this increase performance and also increase CPU cycle , so drain your battery and increase performance .
2. zram this one will also increase performance like app respone but drain a little battery instead .
3 rendering gpu option in develop , this one some said increase battery some said drain battery .
i try to find a thread that have full info about our CM 10 ROM but never found one .
anyone can give me a link ?
hi
i have rom toolbox pro in my karbonn a21 i want to set up my phone cpu profile through rom tool box pro to improve my phone performance and battery backup also so can some one please tell me specifications of my phone cpu which will best for ph. specifically battery performance .
my ph frequences are max 122 245 320 480 600 1152 mhz
if someone tell me the frequnce according to my phone. dat would be really greatfull.
or if there is another way to increase my battery performance so please tell me i have cwm 5.0.2.8
so please kindly anwser my query as soon as possible.
thanks in adavance
If its about battery life as well as performance, things are complicated. If you have good performance, your battery life is decreased, if you want good battery life, you need to sacrifice performance
However, to get both, use the ONDEMAND or ONDEMANDX(if available) cpu governer in the cpu control function. These governers pump the cpu up to higher frequencies depending on the working load, so you get nice performance, and also brings down cpu frequency to lower values when you do not use your phone, like when screen is off and phone is on idle, thus it also saves your precious battery life. This should help you get what you desire
hi, i want to know which is the best rom for battery life and which kernel .. for battery life the best governor without detoriorating performance is smartassv2 ? ... and what i can do to optimize the battery ? i use greenify and 2xbattery to stop the internet connection and refresh avery 15 minutes.. it s better to dont use anything ? thanks
ps do you have other advice to optimize battery ? l
Can someone tell which kernel gives best battery backup and stable enough?
Probably Squid Kernel with the lionfish governor, but that governor does compromise performance somewhat. However, with some tweaking, it is possible to achieve great battery life with good performance as well. See the link in my signature
Hai I'm wondering what's the best kernel for battery life is and if they're about the same which would be the best one

There is no "best" kernel as each one will behave differently depending on your usage. Battery life is about trading performance for longer usage... If you don't like to tweak the kernel, leave it stock... the stock kernel and ROM are quite well optimized. Other wise if you don't mind tweaking, try any kernel, maybe start with Squid, and a conservative governor (like lionfish, conservative, or powersave), set the CPU minimum to 200Mhz, and the CPU Max Frequency 1094Mhz, even take a core or two off line if you want to get real crazy. Remember that to make a significant difference in battery you need to make a noticeable change in performance.
