Created and Distributed by Charlieb620 in Nexus S forum. All credit goes to him. I just tested one of his package and it worked so I thought I could ask him and share it over in this N1 forum. Thanks for your generosity charlieb620 and thanks for a great boot animation.
FLash this at your own risk. If you brick your phone for any reason, it's all your fault. Do not blame anybody!!!
Guide : Just download the zip, rename it to bootanimation.zip and copy it over to data/ local using Root Explorer, or like me using free stuff, I recommend Super Manager in the market. Though it's a lite version. If you're able to, please support Super Manager or Root Explorer by purchasing them.
Note : make sure it's bootanimation.zip NOT bootanimation.zip.zip
This was tested on my N1 running CM7 RC2. so again if you have a different rom or anything, try it at your own risk.
If you want sound with it, download android_audio.zip, extract it and copy it to the same place.
For more information, more support and different ways to flash this. Visit charlieb620's thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=982286
Have fun everybody
Thanks for sharing this. I am going to put it on my Nexus One right after I upgrade from RC4 to CM7 Stable. I suspect no issues but if there are any I'll report back.
There's a thanks button for that lol and yes please do report back if anything occur. Thank charlieb620 fir his hard work too

On april 2011 (a whole YEAR ago) , Google introduced the "new" Google talk for android phones, with voice and video-calls support, and as far as i know, its the gapps version of 2.3.4 . Why our O3D dosnt have it? Its is possible to install it?

I tried using a method from xda forums, however I just screwed gtalk and made it impossible to use (this also happened on my x10) so I think it depends on the phone or something
sadly google is not updating any google apps beyond market/play or gmail
A few months back an XDAer posted a ported version. I don't know where I put my copy of it, because when I switched back to Froyo I could no longer use it. From what I recall you had to flash it, rather than side load, but it worked perfectly! It should still be on here somewhere.

I think the ones you used were from this link
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1056793
note: none of them worked on my o3d
Don't think that's where I pulled the file from. I did have a chance to dig through my backups from the Gingerbread days and found the file that worked perfectly here. I am pretty sure it was just a flash install, but can't test because I am back on Froyo. I really wish I could reference the author, and if you're out there please reply and take your due credit. I hope this works as well for you as it did for me!
argh can't flash, my cwm got screwed after I moved from 21a to 20a
I'm having trouble finding the new evernote hello app on the google play market, I like the whole idea behind it and want to try it out, was wondering if someone might be able to upload it here for me?
Same here, it says it's incompatible.
It's out today in the Play store...
Have a look here

Still a no-go for me here, could be that I'm running cm9 on 190 dpi so it doesn't show up for me...anyway you could download it, make a backup of it and then upload that for me...would be much appreciated

It shows up on mine now, I'm on CM9 alpha4 with stock dpi.
Really pleased with my 8 inch tab 3 i bought from PC World in eh UK for £138.
Wasn't expecting much as it's only dual core but did my best to get it perfect and fast.
Tried lots of roms and stuff but finally settled with Bindroid. The Armoa installer allows me to remove al the bloat and crap.
I combined this with Galatab kernel for the overclocked settings and tweaks.
I manually had to remove lots of garbage such as HP Printer service apks and widgets for samsung printing service etc.
Here's my score. Anyone get higher?

Google Play Services is killing my data plan. I did some research on the forums and I am assuming this is because I just installed CM and my nexus is trying to download the new 4.4.3 update. What should I do to make it stop? I Read that for some people checking the restrict background data box works but it doesnt for others. Also read about an app called DisableServices but also came across mixed results.
Can anybody help me?

I though this was fixed in their latest builds? Which build are you on?
I thought so too. But apparently is trying to download. I was on 4.4.2 and then installed cyanogenmod 11

Install this app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=cn.wq.disableservice
Go to System apps, google services and then disable "SystemUpdateService". This should fix it afaik,
Seems like the issue where the phone keeps downloading 4.4.3 over and over.
