Android Market Update... Same Version?

Has anyone else noticed that sometimes when you update a app from the Market, its the Same exact version? Happened to me about 6 times this week... What's up with that?
*EDIT*
Also how come certain apps Don't show as having a update until I physically click it myself, when most of the others show that there's a update available?
Thanxx in Advance!
I had this problem many times, even today.
Today (Feb 10) an app called Spool was shown as update available, but the chnagelog was same as one for last update which I did, and market website shows it as last updated on Feb 6th.

Is there Anyway to Fix this? The ****s getting Annoying man... Sometimes I catch it but sometimes I Don't until I go to make a backup and it says already backed up!
Could it be something like some permissions were changed, thus showing as an update?
It happened to me with Waze this week- exactly same version build but somewhere in changelog it was written that the update is because some permission was revoked.

Interesting! Could be...
I honestly "Didn't/Don't" have a explanation for it. But just know I'm getting Real Tired of it, even though it is kind of a petty thing to get Frustrated with, Just Can't help it, it Aggravates me! Lol...
android market is really messed up. I only can see top free and top free new apps...i can't even download apps that i paid, luckily i have backup

Touchscreen issues with last update?

Hey guys,
I'm currently running CM12 nightly and the touchscreen issues are killing me. Has anybody tried both CM12 and the latest CM11S update? Is the touchscreen any better there? I just don't want to downgrade for nothing.
Thanks

Happened to me too, downgrading did not fix. I have already shipped my phone for RMA. It is a hardware issue.

Yeah.. Confirmed. Did not fix the problem. Waiting for them now.
I guess I'll have to ship my phone too. Anyways, the mic is also faulty so...
Did they make you pay for the shipping? When are you getting it back?

Great! Do you know the Manufacture date?
I started the RMA process last Tuesday. By Wednesday the RMA was initiated, and on Friday TNT (their carrier) called me to schedule a pickup. Since they were using UPS, I opted for a drop off.
Printed all the required documents to export the phone back to Hong Kong, and then I dropped the package with UPS on Saturday morning.
I currently see an order under my OnePlus account, so I guess they'll send me a brand new unit. We'll see!

No where can I find it? Ill post it here when I do.
Also some more updates, the touch is still a bit finicky and its still not as responsive as my nexus 7 or moto G but it is definitely a GREAT improvement over my old phone. Typing works almost flawlessly although at times it lags a bit. I also noticed the Cyanogenmod logo on the back cover is gone

The build date from the settings is the software build date not hardware.

New OPO (Excuse the framerate drop): http://youtu.be/OKwIXUx2NS0
You can probably the touchscreen is fine on the new one. I figured the "lag" I am noticing is due to software issues such as when unlocking the phone. The hardware is much much better than it was before. These issues will probably get fixed in CM12.

It's not the April patch and we already had March's with Nougat. Hopefully some bug fixes and performance improvements. My battery has been a lot worse since Nougat
I notice a slight performance increase. Battery life definitely improved.
After the update, my phone won't boot past the Sprint LTE screen. Any one else with issues?

I didn't see an update from you about this, but I wanted to weigh in. I saw this thread and your issue. I installed the update myself and it seemed to stay on the Sprint LTE screen for way too long. I actually had time to stare at it, worry, then pull up this thread, reread your issue, read the reply about recovering, and reread the solution! Then the screen dimmed and after I stared it down some more, it loaded the system stating the update was successful. Not sure if this was your issue, but maybe? For those that may run into this, I guess be patient!

To fix the issue, I had to perform a clean Odin flash then update. I'm guessing the conflict was related to me previously being on the beta versions of Nougat.

Samsung's security updates are a month behind, it was basically the march security update now that it's just about April.

I had same issue before this update. Phone was stuck on beta version and said I was on the latest version when checking OTA. Smartswitch is complete garbage. Not only do you have to mess around with old C++ redistributable just to get the latest Smartswitch to run, once you do get it running the auto-prompt to revert back to stock no longer worked and the manual recover feature also didn't work as it said I had an invalid serial number even know I didn't. Not only did it not work, apparently the serial it wants is on the box only so if you don't have the box your SOL. I had the box and it still didn't work. Total lousy tool and worthless.
I ended up having to flash the official build with ODIN doing a clean flash. Once I did that, everything was great. Issues went away (battery drain, lag, getting hot, etc) Now this latest update popped up like normal. Update didn't take long to install, all good.
So those that were on beta at some point, use ODIN to flash official build. I already have a GS8+ on order and moving to big red after 15+ years with Sprint. Sprint is taking away subsidy on top of I can't take the network anymore it's total crap. That is a story for another day.
Well if anyone cares, the update includes the checks against hiding GPS mock apps from system. No more hiding. No more Pokemon Spoofing, if you're into that.

I have the same issue. Updated late Sunday evening and never got past the LET screen. I left it on over night plugged in and still at the LTE screen in the morning. Went to Samsung Experience Center in Best Buy and they re-flashed and all was well with no data loss.
I was prompted for the update again this morning, ran it and again looking at the damn LTE screen as I type this. The Samsung folks are off until Thursday so trying to figure this out. The SmartSwitch app does not recognize the phone.
Will look at Odin and appreciate any tips you, or anyone, has.

I did this a while back and have always gotten the OTA notices ever since.

OTA updates are usually released in batches.
Just keep trying and it will pop up soon.
Mine showed up last night, near midnight. So far it seems very little different, I'm using NOVA Launcher and a couple of icons are changed, don't see much else.
I'll rate it as "mostly harmless."

I just now got my notice. Grow some patience it is not like it is going to do anything super awesome for you. In fact it will likely cause bugs and glitches for you. Btw I froze the updater gonna wait for a home cooked version from someone here.
Got the update, I lived outside US, I kept the sim card and just turn on WiFi and manually search for update.
It seems I have a lot better signal, anyone to confirm ?
When I turn off airplane mode, it find signal a lot faster.
Is there any chance we can use this version for other models, like the H990DS?
