Tronsmart CX-919... Does it come already ROOTED? - Android Stick & Console Computers General

I just got the Tronsmart CX-919 from Geekbuying and thought it came already ROOTED.
Currently has Android 4.2.2
It has Superuser pre-installed, so I thought it was. Tried using Titanium Backup and it searches for root access, but doesn't find it.
Any thoughts? How can you tell if it has been rooted?

I believe you may, in fact, be trippin'.
A few seconds of searching at market.android.com turned up the following: https://market.android.com/details?id=com.rerware.android.MyBackupRoot&feature=search_result.
Is that the droid you're looking for?
great! i typed it in on my phone and the only ones that came up were the lite version and the paid version but not the rooted version. ill check again

[Q] CWM for china region Transformer

HI
I am using a transformer with
Build Number: HTK75.CN_epad-8.6.5.1-20111216
I have used Natchoroot to root it and it was ok, everything run smooth by then, after that i downloaded, superuser, Voodooo root keeper which specifies that my transformer is rooted, i also did titanium backup successfully which is also an indication that my device is rooted as far as i can tell
Now that the ICS is already here, i still didnt get the update, however i think it'd take a while to come to china with all the restrictions they put on the device (No maps, No Market, No youtube, No facebook, and you name it)
Anyway i thought it'd probably be a better to just flash a WW version of ICS
but a few minutes ago i tried to download CWM from here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1346180
And as soon as i try to open it, it tells me that my device is not rootes although like i mentioned before everything indicates that i am rooted because when i open voodoo ota keeper i get the message that it was granted superuser permissions.
So can anyone refer me to other mean to install a CWM ? i've searched the forums but all of the ones i've found are newer version and they all require to already have an older version of CWM
Thanks for your help

try using an updated superuser and don't use this section of the thread when asking questions..
you should use CWM to flash superSU.
You will need SuperSU instead of SuperUser.

[Q] Deleted stock apps..4.1.2 Update fails..

I got all excited and mistakenly deleted a few stock apps shortly after I rooted and updated to JB several months ago..before I started freezing them with Titanium...and now I'm not able to take the OTA 4.1.2 update. I'm Voodoo'd up and have Safestrap and all that and did the temp unroot in Voodoo and uninstalled recovery in Safestrap yet I believe the fact that a few stock apps are missing is causing my problem.
So, what would be the least painful way to restore the stock bloatware for 4.1.1, still retain root, and allow the 4.1.2 update to install? I've read a million threads but I'm still not seeing the clearest path quite yet. Thanks.
**edit**
I've gone through and found what I think are most all the apps I deleted..so now the question is it possible to obtain those versions and put them into the system folder?
Amazon Kindle
Amazon MP3
Audible
MC3
NFL Mobile
Real Racing 2
Slacker Radio
Youtube (system version)
Zappos
If your on 4.1.1 just use mats util to flash ICS stock reroot and protect with voodo then update. Be careful because unless u already have root you can not (as far as I know) go back to ICS after 4.1.2 and get root again if u mess up. So make backups and good luck. Also check this out if u did not update yet

[Q] Possible to root a BLU Studio 6.0 HD D651u?

I've seen other threads and it seems people can root the BLU Studio 6.0 HD with kingroot or framaroot...but that's for the D650a version (4GB) whereas I have the D651u version (8gb). I guess there's a difference there when it comes to rooting. I've tried both methods and neither worked. Any suggestions? I'm running KK 4.4.2, did the OTA update already.[/B]
Well then..I guess some phones are simply not rootable...
Try towel root

iRoot worked! Using the PC connected version

Have you tried Iroot? version 1.7.9.2 worked like a charm. Like you Ive tried the kingroot/framaroot apks and neither worked but was excited to see iroot worked like a charm. Just hooked up my phone to the computer enabled developer options and hen debugging and away iroot went. Worth a shot, goodluck.

Like you, I tried several methods to no avail.
I finally ended up using kingroot, which installed kinguser. (Not to be confused with kingoapp)
It worked just fine. The newest version is also in English!
After that was done, I just replaced kinguser with su and all seems to be working flawlessly.
Only difference for me was, I am running Lollipop, not KitKat.
Not sure if that will make a difference or not.
I am having an issue however with my cell signal dropping intermittently, but that's because of the Lollipop update, not from the root. I had no problems with my signal before the update, so if I knew how to change that, I would have no complaints at all!
