[Q] Note10.1 and Sony QX10 - Galaxy Note 10.1 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I've a Sony QX10 lens and I've connection problems with my Galaxy tab 10.1 (4.1).
When trying to connect the lens throught wifi, the lens is connected one second before losing connection and giving an error.
I've had quite the same problem with my Note 3 who wan't to connect with QX10 untill I found an item (auto network switch) to unchek in the wifi advanced menu, but ther's nothing like that in The Galaxy tab advanced wifi settings.
does any one have a solution?
A hidden switch?
Any help welcome

[Q] Same WIFI problem as Galaxy S4?

Hi
I just got my Nexus 5 yesterday and could not connect to the WIFI at work. People at work with Samsung Galaxy S4s are also unable to connect however the S3 and my Galaxy Nexus are able to connect fine.
There's two networks: a Guest network that doesn't require a password and a network that requires a password. I am unable to connect to either. The phone will say "Connecting" for a couple seconds and go back to "Saved". At home I'm able to connect fine.
I was wondering if anyone else is having similar issues, or know of a solution. If anyone had an S4 and now a Nexus 5 are you able to connect to networks you couldn't before?
Thanks
Jeff
This will be an issue with the network not the phone.

[Q] Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 WiFi Connection Problem

Hi All, I've bought one of these beauty's and am well pleased with it. However I have come across a small but annoying problem that I hope someone can help me out with.
At initial set up I connect to my home network. This works absolutely fine. When I set the tablet to connect to my tethering hotspot on my S4 that is when problems occur. It connects initially but then shows disabled. The same now happens with the home network. The home network is via a HH5 which has both 2.4GHz & 5GHz. enabled. Telling the device to forget each of the AP's and reconnecting them does not work. Other devices (W7 PC's, the telly & another S4 ) can connect to my tethering hotspot without any problem.
My Sitecom Router did this, I had to disable OPS on it and do a hard reboot on the router. Give that a try.
I have the same problem...continue disconnection and reconnection...help me!!!
Try switching the channel. Use this APP to find the best one: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.farproc.wifi.analyzer
For me, adding the Note to the static DHCP List in my router settings (trendnet TEW-652 BRP) seemed to do the trick. Some people also recommend changing 802.11 mode to single (g or n) as opposed to mixed (g and n), and changing IP to static in the Note Wi-Fi settings.
... Note Pro 12.2 (900) ...
I have the same problem

I have the same problem. I tried adding DHCP and all the other suggestions. None of them is solving the problem.

I had to change the broadcast channel on my hotspot to 2.4GHz to get the Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 to see the WiFi network.
Mine's doing same thing. Turn off DHCP in wifi settings of 12.2 Pro and use a Static IP way the hell up there on the range so one of your dynamic devices doesn't grab it.
This tablet is such a piece of crap. Been trying to sell it forever. Definitely the worst display on any of the newest-generation Samsung devices. Plus it has these retarded problems with completely rudimentary technologies.

[Q] WiFi bridge on s4

Hi, everyone.
I am new here, I wanted to know if there is an application (rooted or not) that can put (when the“tethering router and wi-fi" tab is switched on) our beautiful android device in bridge mode with another router. I better explain.
I just recently bought a gopro 3 which can be controlled remotely by the telephone through wi-fi.
The camera is a router and we have to connect to his network.
I was thinking to use it while riding my bike, but at the same time i want to be connected to the Internet with the 3g network to use the gps (maps).
As you know, the 3g is disabled when the wi-fi network is turned on; so I thought i would use the tether/router wifi option, but obviously there is no bridge option.
how can I do?
Thanks in advance!!

Redmi Note 6 Pro WIFI issues

Hello, got a brand new Redmi Note 6 Pro and it doesn't matter how I connect to the internet via WIFI (DHCP or STATIC) the phone keep loosing the WIFI connection if I open two or more apps at the same time - multimedia apps that load images, or videos for example Youtube + Netflix. Or if WhatsApp runs in background and I open VLC the WIFI disconnects automatically. At this point I don't know what to think if is a hardware issue (bad RAM?) or a software / firmware issue, any ideas? Running the latest MIUI (10.0.4.0).
Update: I just realized that the WIFI stops working on my Redmi Note 6 Pro only when I have a Sony Bravia Smart TV on!! If I turn off the TV the phone works fine, no more disconnects. So what can I do apart turning off my tv? Obviously there's some sort of conflict with the Bravia Smart TV connecting to the same router (a 300M Wireless N Gigabit Router Model No. TL-WR1043ND).
This is really strange. I have the same router (running DD-WRT) and a Sony smart TV. And my Redmi Note 6 also loses WiFi... no solution found until now.
