How to-s ?
How to use CWM ?
-Download the boot.img
-Download the kernel.sin
-Through flashtool first flash boot.img
-Start phone. Keep pressing the volume up button until blue notification light(That Walkman light) comes up.
-After your work is done with CWM flash kernel.sin again.
Note: This CWM is not permanent. And of-course you need unlocked bootloader.
Relock Bootloader
To Relock Bootloader, Flash Stock Rom and then simply flash the provided file in first post

I think droid.rz's pa link points to zoldyck's one... so I think there should be only one pa link. Also,only the MIUI v5 of chotu222 is for Xperia J, and the others are for tipo/miro.

This boot.img what is posted in thread is only for unlocked bootloader,for locked bootloader cwm recovery has bad resolution...

Thank you for sharing androidnerd2 but I have a couple of questions I hope you can answer me. I recently bought a XPeria J ST26A with stock Android 4.0.4, 11.0.A.7.10 firmware and locked bootloader. Before I use the stock ftf's you are sharing I'd like to know...
1.- Can I come back to ISC if JB does not satisfy my needs. I did a full backup of my phone using Flashtool and SUS (A ftf file) of my current version just in case I need it.
2.- Is it 100% compatible with my current firmware any of the stock ftf's? I been reading the forum and there is not a single mention of it.
3.- I watched a video about a ST25i and they said that if you use a firmware for that model on a ST25a you have to uncheck the baseband option before you flash the phone with Flashtool. The same thing applies to ST26i and ST26a? I want to learn about this so I do not commit mistakes.
4.- The stock ftf's you posted have the bug of not been able to change the theme? I read about that here in the forum.
5.- After I flash the phone with JB is it necessary to perform a hard reset? Can you tell me the process?
6.- I root my phone, I know I will loose it if I update to JB but I'd like to know if I will be able to root it again considering I have a locked bootloader and the firmware I'm telling you or everything will be updated including the firmware?
So sorry for all my questions but I am a new android user and I always consider it is better to ask before and not after.

i m using sony xperia tipo with fw 11.0.A.4.27. my phone slags i dont lik the performance of my mob.. it is slow and slugs wen opening apps(lik gosms pro and typi msg) and contacts, gallery etc.
and wen i cal also screen malfunctions (i have set vid ringtone oly 4 one contact usi video caller id free)..have many prob lik tis..
i want to get the max performance from m y phone so pls tel me wat can b dont.. i have not installed any custom ROM,KERNEL etc
and bootloader is locked..
i have rooted my mob and tried installi cpu overclocking,memory booster (RAM),battery saver apps to increase my mob speed ...but no use

1. Is it slow BEFORE you do rooting? If it does, looks like hardware problem.
2. After root, do you install lots of stuff (launchers, live wp, etc)? If yes, uninstall those things and try to keep thing as stock before doing anything.
3. Get boost my xperia + pimp my rom.
Slow messaging? Not if your on stock msg app. Difficulty typing in portrait mode? Use alphanumeric mode.

not much before rooting
and i didnt install much app after rooting.. installed superuser elite, memory booster,setcpu
and if i install custom ROM,KERNEL etc ll i get any improvements ??

Yes, you can try paradox if youre into custom rom. Im still sticking to stock root v22. My tipo is already fast enough for gaming with just those apps. Just using one battery saver app from 360.cn.

i want to install Z-Fusion V2™ with vengeance kernel is it possible ?
if so tel me wat or things need to do it... i have just rooted my phone and not installed any mod (cm10) or ROM etc..(still in stock)

1. Have you checked if your bootloader can be unlocked? the dialer code is *#*#7378423#*#*
2. Seems z fusion v2 needs fxp and didnt say anything about vengeance. You still new right? Have you read the post about those unlocked bootloader tipo gets no network? Im not going to unlock it as im not so good yet with tipo (my 1st and only android phone) and trying to play safe for now.

You should first try the stock based roms like znxt,gimlo,paradox,ultrabeast etc.
Im using ultrabeast and it runs smooth.
No need to unlock bootloader.

hmmm but yest i flashed z fusion ROM with cm10 (fxp 217).. and my phone sys ,album,walkman does not detect my external memory card
and movie, performance assistant stops responding and i feel touch is bit hard...y it happens ? did i messed someth

Better ROM Fusion from two ROMs for Sony Xperia E Single with CyanogenMod 10

You can find so many nice ROMs for Sony Xperia E Dual but it is very difficult to find the perfect ROM for Sony Xperia E Single since most of the developers are using Sony Xperia E Dual.
So here I'm posting how to get the CyanogenMod 10 on your Sony Xperia E Single !
There are two very nice ROMs available for Sony Xperia Single available.
@jjm34's ROM and @hsr0's ROM.
Both are very nearly perfect.
But you may think that how can these ROM work on the XE SS because
jjm34's ROM has the Battery Charging issue
hsr0's ROM has the calling issue
So I am explaining you the steps that will direct you to install CyanogenMod 10
1. Make sure you have your phone's bootloader unlocked or you can do that officially with the link provided below.
Link : http://unlockbootloader.sonymobile.com/
2. Make sure you have recovery installed of your desire.
3. Go to Recovery and
- Wipe data and cache
- Flash @jjm34's ROM .zip file

4. Now Power-off your phone and get it into the Fastboot Mode.
5. Flash the kernel file i.e "boot.img" of the @hsr0' ROM.

- Download the ROM of XE Dual and extract "boot.img" file which is the kernel of that ROM
- You can also flash the kernel with the help of simple commands in the Command Prompt window in the Fastboot mode.
fastboot flash boot boot.img
- For the Command Prompt method make sure you have "fastboot.exe" in the same folder in which the kernel file is extracted.
- Fastboot button for XE SS is Volume Up with plugging in USB cable.
6. Using the kernel of hsr0 gives also one more benefit.
- Overclocked CPU @ 1.3 GHz
Voila ! Now you are done. cheers !

This is the fusion of the two ROMs and worked perfectly for me.
P.S : No ROM is perfect for any Phone but these is better option I guess.

Without you I could never taste CyanogenMod 10 fluidly and now I am back to stock again because I found no ROM that much perfect as I wanted so now I am waiting for the official CyanogenMod release which is probably releasing in few days probably. jjim34 has developed two ROMs one for single and another for dual... Download the single sim version and then flash it after it flash the hsr0's kernel and Yeah it works great dude! Cheers....!

Bugs
I did flash it but then I got these bugs..
My phone wasn't being detected by my computer and later that day my SIM card wasn't being detected by my phone. Switched back to stock. Any solution?

First of all I would like to recommend to do this all on the Windows XP platform so you can switch ur PC to XP or use your friend's PC because I have sufferer from the same thing.
Then go step by step.
Remember.
- First jjm34 ROM
- Then hsr0's kernel

Not possible. If you're on 11.3.A.0.47, Framaroot should work. On 11.3.A.13 and 11.3.A.23 you need to use a computer!

deodexed rom does not mean any custom rom so it look same as stock.
you can try nitrogen rom if you want a custom rom.

Can you tell me step by step?
Is that looks like Lollipop or what?

Most amazing thing abot this fake website was i found it one day after release of xperia e3 thare is no any developer that can develope lollypop in just one day.
You can see fxp took months to develope a beta lollypop.

lollypop aosp is not in good condition. however sony made it harder to port aosp by making it compatable with only new bootloader.
and releasing new bootloader for only and only LTE varriant.
i wish sony announce lollypop for sony xperia e3 dual soon.

from new reliable sources it seems that Sony will update Xperia T3 to Lollipop, so I suppose that soon also will for E3 will updated... Look here

t3 is the most simlar to e3 so next is e3. i am sure 100%.

I got this reply from Sony on twitter.. They didn't say no but it seems pretty convincing that they might release lollipop for us too...
