Better ROM Fusion from two ROMs for Sony Xperia E Single with CyanogenMod 10

You can find so many nice ROMs for Sony Xperia E Dual but it is very difficult to find the perfect ROM for Sony Xperia E Single since most of the developers are using Sony Xperia E Dual.
So here I'm posting how to get the CyanogenMod 10 on your Sony Xperia E Single !
There are two very nice ROMs available for Sony Xperia Single available.
@jjm34's ROM and @hsr0's ROM.
Both are very nearly perfect.
But you may think that how can these ROM work on the XE SS because
jjm34's ROM has the Battery Charging issue
hsr0's ROM has the calling issue
So I am explaining you the steps that will direct you to install CyanogenMod 10
1. Make sure you have your phone's bootloader unlocked or you can do that officially with the link provided below.
Link : http://unlockbootloader.sonymobile.com/
2. Make sure you have recovery installed of your desire.
3. Go to Recovery and
- Wipe data and cache
- Flash @jjm34's ROM .zip file

4. Now Power-off your phone and get it into the Fastboot Mode.
5. Flash the kernel file i.e "boot.img" of the @hsr0' ROM.
- Link : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2518451
- Download the ROM of XE Dual and extract "boot.img" file which is the kernel of that ROM
- You can also flash the kernel with the help of simple commands in the Command Prompt window in the Fastboot mode.
fastboot flash boot boot.img
- For the Command Prompt method make sure you have "fastboot.exe" in the same folder in which the kernel file is extracted.
- Fastboot button for XE SS is Volume Up with plugging in USB cable.
6. Using the kernel of hsr0 gives also one more benefit.
- Overclocked CPU @ 1.3 GHz
Voila ! Now you are done. cheers !

This is the fusion of the two ROMs and worked perfectly for me.
P.S : No ROM is perfect for any Phone but these is better option I guess.

Without you I could never taste CyanogenMod 10 fluidly and now I am back to stock again because I found no ROM that much perfect as I wanted so now I am waiting for the official CyanogenMod release which is probably releasing in few days probably. YES ! Officially for Sony Xperia E. Don't believe me ? Check this out :

jjim34 has developed two ROMs one for single and another for dual... Download the single sim version and then flash it after it flash the hsr0's kernel and Yeah it works great dude! Cheers....!

Bugs
I did flash it but then I got these bugs..
My phone wasn't being detected by my computer and later that day my SIM card wasn't being detected by my phone. Switched back to stock. Any solution?

First of all I would like to recommend to do this all on the Windows XP platform so you can switch ur PC to XP or use your friend's PC because I have sufferer from the same thing.
Then go step by step.
Remember.
- First jjm34 ROM
- Then hsr0's kernel

Not possible. If you're on 11.3.A.0.47, Framaroot should work. On 11.3.A.13 and 11.3.A.23 you need to use a computer!

So: you could try Kingo Android Root, cydiaimpactor.com, or flash kernel of 11.3.A.0.47, root with Framaroot, and then flash kernel of 11.3.A.2.23.

Hey,I am try this on my Xperia M2 dual and i will suces just run .bat file and do as instruction.................
1] extract and run deodex_bat.bat and press 1 and enter
2] then press 2 and wait for process.....
3] all process complete then press 3.Now deodex process was started...
4] and at last press 4 to push system and framework folder to flashable zip
follow this for kitkat also
ITS WORK ON ALL DEVICES...............THANKS IN ADVANCE..........

I have tried on my xperia m2 too and tarraa..bootloop..i tried till fourth times..and finally bootloop and bootloop again, can you help and give me explanation please..thx be4..

I'll try five times and always bootloop, I've ready wipe cace, dalvik and data/factory.. how to fix it?

Zipalign works?
Because i chose zipalign, and doesn't change the apk's size.

Kamome tool v6a works on kk as used it myself just search on here.

Impossible to deodex 18.6.A.0.175+18.6.A.0.182 5.1 on the m2 and all 5.1 firmwares on t2u and c3 aswell due to Sony screwing up something with the services.odex file thus making all deodex tools fail. Hence why most of us with root are running either gauravs deodexed z1c or z2 port on our M2's, this is the only way to get a deodexed rom on 5.1 and the only way to get xposed working.

My isp has a cached server for google dell and samsung ftp...if there is any way u can get me the zip files i can upload em within minutes...
There was a time when i was a resident of Pune...buh am a proper Mumbaikar....had to come back lol....
Please do something to get this Xperia rom uploaded...i have a feeling that this rom wont disappoint.

could we have screenshots of the dialer, in-call screen, messaging app (with keyboard), storage (with usb otg connected), etc.? @mcd_legend too.
is the font the default of the rom? it says model c2305 (sony xperia c?), android version 4.4.2 and kernel version 3.4.5. is that ok?

I flashed this after the above steps directly from Stock 4.4
I am experiencing laging and also there is no camera app and some other things missing
any other one who flashed this from 4.4 ?
pls give me a solution

Alrighty....another review...
Flashed the rom a few hours ago...good battery back up so far.
Attaching a few screens to the post...
Rom starts with a Sony Logo then the Xolo and then the Xperia Boot animation.
Brilliant UI....version says 4.4.2 Kitkat...but somehow i still feel this is a Jellybean.
Message screen and in call screens attached....somebody please tell me the right dpi for it.
No lags so far...works very smooth.
Xposed module and gravity box totally functional.
Music player gets a boost thanks to viper.
Multi language support....including Indian languages.
Wifi and Tethering works flawlessly.
Settings throws an fc when we check for the rom update feature and im sure we know why that happens.
Doesnt allow u to choose which sim u wana call from....it only lets u select one particular sim for all ur calling and messaging needs.
Didnt check USB otg....somebody plz post the feedback.
Please check the screenshots.
Great Job !!! Will use this for a while now.

I was having kitkat 4.4.2,
then i flashed cwm recovery for kitkat (SP flash tool)
then i flashed rooted 4.4 rom by puduraj through cwm - till that everything fine, the rooted rom worked fine,
that rom was having carliv recovery, which not working. it loaded recovery but unable to browse the zip of rom to flash. it shows folders while browsing.
Then i flashed CWM through SP flash tool.
then flashed xperia z2 rom through cwm.
now problem coming, in the new rom there is no camera app. ( i tried then flashing the MIUI rom, that too have same prob)
i think it is bootloader problem.
I will try flashing this after flashing jellybean stock rom

Flashed the ROM yesterday.
CWM based recovery of JB didn't work. Tried the KK CWM based recovery and it worked for me. I was on Stock JB.
The ROM, I should say is good so far. The only issue I came across so far is that the phone (incoming call) didn't work. Screenshot attached.
Voice quality of the called person is very low. Image and video qualities are improved. Some apps can not be installed from storage, like Whatsapp, FB, Quickboot, updated version of SuperSU etc. External USB storage is functioning good. I have not tested other features and will be doing so very soon and report back.

What's Included:
Debloater - This is for all Xperia devices below KitKat. Once you flash the zip, it will remove all Sony Bloatware from your phone
Deodexers - There are two deodexers, one for E ss and one for E dual. These flashable zips will deodex your rom
If you want to find out more on Deodexing, Read this Thread by XDA assist R_a_z_v_a_n.
-Basically, its more to your advantage to deodex your rom.
-Deodexing will make it possible for you to theme your ROM
-After Deodexing, the inital boot will be longer and thats all.
E ss and E dual Deodexed Roms - They have been Zipaligned and all apps optimised.
Gapps Remover - For those who want to remove Google Apps from their roms flash the Zip
Memory Swap - Flashing This Zip will swap your INTERNAL memory with EXTERNAL memory. Xperia E and E dual come with a 2gb internal memory, However, if you have an external sd card with more memory, insert it and flash the zip and that will now be your new internal memory. I assure you this process is entirely harmless.

Have already themed my CM11 to be like Xperia Z3. Looks like many of these apps are old versions. Gonna try it out actually and check the results. @EMINEM786 which device did you port this ROM from? Will update with review after download completes
