is normal HTC removes some apps when boatloader is open, if you need some apps like flashlight i have some backups you can restore them with titanium backup.
Flashlight app
https://www.dropbox.com/s/5dfn2suio2k1en8/com.htc.flashlight-62010ba1c28c3f55113c974af1c7b168.apk.gz
flashlight app is loaded on the preload folder..its not defaulted to /system/app anymore..
Sow they just move them to other folder

How many different places you have to post this?
i thought that i posted it in the wrong section.
excuse me because i'm asking help for something
Hi dont worry just flash gapps package .....google it and you should see a zip file call Gapps which contains all that you require, just flash as normal through clockwork mod by choosing install zip
But i use stock android and want to keep it that way.
Do i have to do the same?

Open a file manager (I know it works with ES File Explorer & and it doesn't work in Astro) and go to system/apps and find the youtube apk and reinstall it. Once you reboot your phone you will now see the youtube app in your apps drawer. This same method will also work for other apps that are showing as being installed that aren't showing up.
Yes. Works for me. I used root explorer. Thank you!

Hello,
i have a small problem, i have HTC Desire running Reflex S and i remove some system apps using Root App Remover but the two apps are annoying me they are called Locations and the Wise Pilot. Locations are getting back after normal restart and the WisePilot i cant remove beacuse i cant find it. Any suggestions ?
Thx.
I would advise you to use Titanium Backup it has a lot more features then just removing apps and has a lot of work put into it but if the app is coming back upon rebooting the phone just freeze the app so it doesnt show up your apps list and is not visible or usable.
Hope this helps.
thx man, but where is the WisePilot stored or how i can freeze it, it does not show in TitaniumBackup
You might be able to remove it with root explorer go to /system/app and delete apk file and reboot

ok but the the question is what is the filename i sholuld know to find it, otherwise there is no problem with searching the file
edit //: solved aj freeze the apps that i do not need, system is now fast
please lock
Anyway I can take out apps off the new jellybean Roms? Like system apps that can't be deleted normally. If there isn't then alright.
Thankyou
You have to do it in recovery.... Mount system then proceed to delete them using file manager or you can freeze them with titanium

Assuming your phone is rooted, just download titanium backup, scroll down until you find the app,tap it and press delete
If your phone isn't rooted, then delete them in recovery
Hi!!my problem is simple. I use an htc one xl with the custom rom CLEAN ROM 4.2.2. When i remove an app from the System App folder,it comes back after reboot and when i add an app in the System App folder it desapears after reboot, just like if the system auto restores every thing. Why deos it occur and how can i change it?? Thanks.
Hi,
anyone else with the same Problem?
Since KitKat (and still with Lollipop 5.1.1) the Titanium Backup function to include Systemapp Updates to the ROM fails. Happens at all Google Apps, FileCommander and Sony Apps.
There is no Error Message. In some cases it only deletes the App completeley and in other cases the progress is running endless (tested for 1 Hour without completion).
Device is Bootloader unlocked, rooted (SuperSU)....... any Hints?
Hmm I had no issue with kitkat, but it definitely does not work with lollipop.
Issue is with tb it's not going to create a subfolder and put libs in subfolder.
If you want to integrate apps, copy the apk from data directory and paste it over system apk, and then replace all the libs using same process.
Reboot phone so it optimized new system apk, then under normal application management uninstall app and replace with factory version (which will be new version)
Reboot and you should be good, restore data if you need to.

Can you give me the necessary Directorys for Internal Memory Apps and System Apps, please?
It's /data/app/ and system apps are either in /system/app or /system/priv-app/
If you go into TB backup/restore, find the app, touch it for more options, right under the freeze option touch the name and it'll give you exact locations as well

Hi!
Is TB do an update to fix this bug ?
I try to contact them to many times and no one answer me.
Did you find another app to do that ?
Did you still with manual methode ?
Tks
Still broken, only manual method works.
It's like it can't make subfolders in system
Just do it manually not so bad. Copy the updated files from data to system app folder, change permissions and hot reboot.
Android will do the rest.. no data loss or having to install/uninstall.
