Hi guys so I froze certain T-Mobile apps that came preinstalled with the phone and everything was working perfectly; the apps were gone. After I reinstalled the rom over the first rom (to get back to the rom's original theme) the apps are back. When I try to freeze them again it says that .apk file not found and it also shows that it's already frozen. I'm using Antek app manager and the same thing happens on Titanium Backup. Is there a way to fix this?
The obvious fix would be to flash and wipe data.
To fix without loosing your current data, one would need to know how Antek app manager freezes the apps.
It is most likely done through the package manger, maybe take a look at this:

I've updated to 4.1.1 stock from T-Mobile, and using TWRP recovery. I've installed the init.d kernel fix that allows you to mount system as rw.
I'm using SystemCleaner to remove some system apps like T-mobile visual mail or Zinio magazines and it get's deleted but the phone restarts instantly. I can't delete more than one file at a time. Any ideas why it's happening?
This usually happens when you delete/substitute core apps. You may want to do it from recovery, it's more convenient.
I just tried this, and I was able to delete both with no restarts. This is might be because I'm on a custom rom though, whereas you're still on stock. Try downloading Titanium Backup and freezing the app before you delete, and see if it does anything. Whenever you want to delete use Rom Cleaner in the development section, might be able to do it that way.

I think I'll do it from recovery, it's really much much faster. If you do it properly it's really the best way.
Hi all,
i found that the stock of torch light was disappeared after rooted. any solution to fix that?
full wipe & root again? OR any flash-able zip could be fix it?
thx for all helps!!!:good:
is normal HTC removes some apps when boatloader is open, if you need some apps like flashlight i have some backups you can restore them with titanium backup.
Flashlight app
https://www.dropbox.com/s/5dfn2suio2k1en8/com.htc.flashlight-62010ba1c28c3f55113c974af1c7b168.apk.gz
flashlight app is loaded on the preload folder..its not defaulted to /system/app anymore..
Sow they just move them to other folder

Hi,
anyone else with the same Problem?
Since KitKat (and still with Lollipop 5.1.1) the Titanium Backup function to include Systemapp Updates to the ROM fails. Happens at all Google Apps, FileCommander and Sony Apps.
There is no Error Message. In some cases it only deletes the App completeley and in other cases the progress is running endless (tested for 1 Hour without completion).
Device is Bootloader unlocked, rooted (SuperSU)....... any Hints?
Hmm I had no issue with kitkat, but it definitely does not work with lollipop.
Issue is with tb it's not going to create a subfolder and put libs in subfolder.
If you want to integrate apps, copy the apk from data directory and paste it over system apk, and then replace all the libs using same process.
Reboot phone so it optimized new system apk, then under normal application management uninstall app and replace with factory version (which will be new version)
Reboot and you should be good, restore data if you need to.

Can you give me the necessary Directorys for Internal Memory Apps and System Apps, please?
It's /data/app/ and system apps are either in /system/app or /system/priv-app/
If you go into TB backup/restore, find the app, touch it for more options, right under the freeze option touch the name and it'll give you exact locations as well

Hi!
Is TB do an update to fix this bug ?
I try to contact them to many times and no one answer me.
Did you find another app to do that ?
Did you still with manual methode ?
Tks
Still broken, only manual method works.
It's like it can't make subfolders in system
Just do it manually not so bad. Copy the updated files from data to system app folder, change permissions and hot reboot.
Android will do the rest.. no data loss or having to install/uninstall.
