My Android 4.0 tablet, model m9000 will not boot. It is stuck on the Android page looping. Was able to use volume up and power keys to turn tablet off, but unable to turn tablet on to bring up the startup menu. Then, I would be able to get to the default settings, and do a reboot. Can someone please help me with this serious issue. Thanks/Zavier180
Take out the battery then put it back in, It should be working fine after that. This also happened to me once. Hope this helped.

I loaded TNT Lite yesterday. All seemed to go well. It booted and I had no issues. I shut it off. I attempted to turn it back on. It goes to the viewsonic screen, then the G Tablet screen. After that it enters the bootup screen (Flashing Hex Blocks). It stays there and will not progress any further. I plugged it into my Laptop. The laptop cannot see the Gtab. I am at a loss as to what the next step is. Can anyone assist? Thanks.
If it gets to the honeycombs then ur fine. Just wait. Otherwise go into clockworkmork and delete user data, cache and dalvic. If u dont have clockworkmod then go into apx mode by powering off and holding power and volume down til u see the birds and the screen go blank. Download nvflash. The files are found in development. Connect the USB and nvflash it. Search for the terms u don't understand.
So my phone was acting up a bit (Synergy) so I decided to boot into recovery to wipe Cache. Well, phone failed to do so and now it will not boot bck up. I tried holding the volume down, home, andpower buttons and it looks like it wants to go into download mode (I see the warning with the android guy) but then the screen goes black and the phone is off. Even if I try to boot it regularly, the screen/phone shuts off after just a few seconds- It sows the Galaxy S3 logo for a second and then shuts off. I am at a loss because I can't get the phone to stay on long enough to boot up or even go into recovery/download mode. A few side notes: the phone starts automatically every time I put the battery back in, the battery was at around 75% when this started, I use TWRP for recovery. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I just hope I do't have to send it out for Jtag. Thanks in advance!!

Update: The phone will turn on only with the SD card removed. I guess I need to start looking into that issue.
I honesty don't know how to describe my problem so I guess I will just tell you whats happening and what I know about my phone.
My phone:
Unlocked Verizon Galaxy S3 running CM for recovery, and CyanogenMod 10 for the ROM (Updated with Odin from Jelly Bean).
The issue:
1) Whenever I press the power button the phone completely shuts off. It doesn't just go to the lock screen, it turns off.
2) The phone will not always turn back on.
3) 85% of the time when it doesn't turn on, it boots into the first splash screen and turns off.
4) When I try to put the phone into download or recovery mode the first screen will pop up for about two seconds and then the phone will turn off again. The phone will either shut down on the cancel/download screen for download mode or the first splash screen with the blue text at the top for recovery mode.
5) The other 15% of the time it will reach the CyanogenMod screen, freeze, then shut off.
6) When I put it on the charger, the stock charging icon pops up but then the phone stops charging and shuts off. (It will charge correctly some times)
These things don't just happen if I press the power button. I used a custom app to turn the phone off without the power button and the problems still occurred.
Things I've tried:
1) Replacing the battery.
2) Switching chargers.
3) Leaving the phone on the charger for a while.
4) Taking the battery out for extended amounts of time.
5) Just leaving the phone alone for a while.
No, the power button isn't stuck... I don't think it is
I am aware that the motherboard might need replaced. However, most of the cases I read about involved the phone not turning on/charging at all. If I could get the phone into recovery mode I would clear the cache and see if that worked, if not I would just factory reset the phone. If I could get into download mode, I would flash a stock firmware and be done with it.
This is my second android phone and I've never had this problem before. I did my experimenting with my old Motorola Droid so I could make sure I knew what was safe with my S3 but apparently there is something wrong.
I greatly appreciate any and all help and please do help me
[EDIT #1]
I began hitting the power button against a hard surface and 1 out of 7 times it works. Perhaps the button is stuck.
[EDIT #2]
I am now able to press the power button without the phone turning off. I will still make a back up and sync all of my important media and prepare to have to factory reset and flash a new ROM.
I got my replacement tablet and my old tablet never deactivated itself. It has no recovery installed, and it isnt rooted. A friend of mine wanted to buy it so I said sure. Problem is, I factory restored it with no recovery still. And now when I power the tablet on, i cant enter fastboot mode, and the tablet freezes every time I start it up. Ill be able to unlock it for a sec and then the screen freezes then I have to hold to power to turn it off. I just want to know why it keeps freezing and if there is any way I can fix the problem.
~Thanks ahead.
Hi everyone,
My phone got updated to UI 3.1, after the restart it has gone into boot loop. I am not able to enter the recovery also. Not able to turn it off, it continuously restarts after the Samsung Galaxy M31w powered by Knox screen.
I have connected the USB to the PC and tried all the combinations to enter the recovery mode.
Kindly help please.
Use the buttons to try to force a hard reset.
Otherwise, let it run down until it auto shuts down unless you can easily pull the battery.
Charge to at least 50% before trying to boot up.
Hopefully it will at least allow access to the boot menu afterwards.
That really sucks... if you're near a Samsung Experience center drag it into them.
I'm having far less issues than you with Samsung updates but the recent Wearables update trashed my bt partially. It's still fighting me even after a roll back. grrrr... it was working fine until that forced update
you might need to use a cable to enter recovery or download modes now like other Samsung phones.
the instant the screen goes black try holding volume up and power and plugging in the USB cable that's connected to something on the other end.
Did you solved the problem???
