1) Are you sure it's not a carrier problem?
2) Did you try to put the sim in the second slot and see if it's working or not?

Try the second sim on the first slot bro and see if it's working. Also, try to contact your carrier from another phone to see if there is a problem with the network. You have to do all these tests so you can be sure that is not a carrier problem but a phone's problem.

In this case the only solution I think is the Sony service center mate.
i am in iran and in my city we dont have sony center. but the netwirk of device have conect and lost again. is there any app or flashs?

You could try using pc companion to fix you phone mate and see if it's working.
You have to take a backup though because probably will loose all you data.

It's a device problem then bro (hardware).
You did everything. You tested your sim in another device, flashled the rom again, changed the sim to the second slot. The only thing left is the Sony service center in my opinion.
Try to contact sony via Facebook and ask them where is a service center in near your town.

Download Sony update service and follow the instructions bro
i take it to repairman and he said the problem is from the serial num
That is not device problem. I got the same issue with Xperia Tipo Dual after installing MIUI rom. Tried several builds - SIM not detected. The solution is to flash original firmware back. Now SIM's are recognised again.
im downloading another rom, i will flash it again
i flashed a custom rom but no signal again. any one have idea?

Not sure if anyone else is facing this issue. Whenever I restart my Xperia C 2305 for almost about a couple of hours, the SIM cards aren't recognised. To be honest, every so often, the SIMs get recognised, but immediately goes blank saying "SIM1: No Service - airtel" (similar with the second Vodafone SIM in the second slot).
Same is the experience when I swap the SIM cards (move them from first slot to second and vice versa). A few details of the handset as below:
Model: C2305
Rooted: yes
Build: 16.0.B.2.13
Been facing this problem since the last Build upgrade (16.0.B.2.6?)
Any ideas what could be wrong or how I can get this fixed?

Same problem here. I got my update through PC Companion just now and now phone won't connect to my home network. It is Generic and unlocked to all networks. I have issued this SIM card just for this phone from my service provider because old one was miniSIM. And it worked well before update. I tried reinserting card, it does recognize SIM, it does find my network, it just refuses to connect to it.
Any thoughts?
Then downgrade back to 4.3 using the 4.3 ftf file accordingly via flashtool
Fix
Just flash baseband from 4.3 and everything is back to normal i fix it that way.
Ok, thanks for possible solution. However, I replaced my SIM card with card from another carrier. It is prepaid card so it is inexpensive to buy a new one. Cards from two different carriers are visually identical, but old one does not work, while new one does. I like new number (starting with 666 ) so I will stick with the new card.

Download 4.3 ftf for xperia m2 (check your proper version in settings) and download flashtool ( google it ) and when you open the app you choose flash mode and choose the 4.3 ftf but uncheck everything on the side excepted baseband and voala when you boot it works. To enter in flash mode you restart your phone and hold the volume down key and connect usb in same time. you have tutorials on youtube you can check. hit thanks if i helped

i flashed a Xperia Z Fire Series 5 XP for miro and next i installed wifi fix alt and next i fake operator and next set country code and next i restarted my phone and next i typed my sim pin code and next said invalid sim and etc..
i flashed two stock roms but again said invalid card and somtimes said on miui unknown on my sim but on another sims said no sim card !!!
in security / Set up sim card lock / lock sim card / type my sim pin and said Can't change sim lock state possibility incorrect pin but i dont change my pin and i tested another sims but again said .....
and in wifi fix alt said wifi country code : US but i'm in another country
please help me!!!!

U need to reflash ur stock ftf with flash tool. thats a general answer to almost every problem, feel free to explore other options but it will fix ur problem, if u untick wipe data in flashtool then u wont lose ur data

U might need to fully wipe your phone and do a fresh flashing of the ftf with flashtool. before u do anything, test your phone with another sim card. see what happens, the problem might be from your sim

i said, i reflashed stock rom with flashtools ! WITH ALL WIPES
but again said invalid card
i tested with 3 another sim cards but doesnt work !
( i tested with 3 another stock roms : global - CE - Europe )

Try thoose things, maybe one thing will works for you.
Reflash Xperia Z fire rom.
- flash 11.0.a.7.5 ftf before cm10
Flash clean cm10.
- flash from oldest to newest ftf firmwares
Relock bootloader
Instal update with Sony PC companion
Just take time and play with phone, dont forget to charge battery. :laugh:

Either your SIM has a problem or the ROM has a problem.
1) Check if SIM works in other phone.
2) Flash a different ROM and check again for network.
3) Check if another SIM works in the Nexus S.
4) If none of the above work then may be your SIM slot has a problem.

I checked 5simcard none of them working when i search network they show carrier but unable to register network after is search for network is complited,flashed over 5custom roms same results!,only time when nexus its been register on network is time when i tryed to heat up conectors of the simcard reader thats worked for some days now its back to old no service!
Its very straing problem :/ :/
now i flashed factory image unroot phone bootloader lock al defaults,again same problem :/

Hi everybody,
I still have a problem with my carrier signal.
1. Sony XZ SOV34 has SIM unlocked
2. Already unlocked bootloader
3. Using Global ROM and already using ExistenZ Oreo
The problem that makes me confused is imei and baseband, there is no problem, but the sim carrier cannot register.
From this problem what should I do?
Hello can you check your apn settings for your operator? If they are all setup correctly try selecting network manually.
Note: You need to search your own mobile operator's apn settings I can't really help with that.

Fido keys doesn't matter for network connectivity. Since you can't setup APN thats the reason it is not connecting. Are you sure that you are not running dual sim version of Xperia XZ? Can you also try tp flash stock rom without exitenz mods? To see if it changes anything.

My Xperia XZ single sim not dual idk what happen with this. Since i unlock this bootloader from tool S1 Network tool
My sim carries change to "No Services". I'm tried to re flash back to Japan rom and back again to global rom but same just "no service"

Can you try to flash your device with Sony's emma tool and see if it works. If it doesn't fix I don't know what will because this doesn't seem something about software nothing like this happened to anybody I assume.

After flashing the firmware..Try to reflash baseband(modem) only..I got this problem back then when i downgrade to marshmallow..and update to nougat via OTA...i lost baseband and imei number...but it's all fixed after i reflash baseband..
NOTE:BASEBAND MUST BE THE SAME AS YOUR ANDROID VERSION!!!

If your baseband and IMEI has gone just flash the 39.0.C.0.282 AU either with flashtool. Better option is xflasher
