I have a Galaxy S III running CM 10.1. I can connect to my car stereo (pioneer) via bluetooth without a problem. I can take calls and I can hear audio over a wide range of products (TuneIn Radio, Pandora, Google Music, DoubleTwist, etc).
The problem I'm experiencing is what information displays when MP3s play from Google Music, DoubleTwist, Apollo, etc. For example, if I play songs from Google Music, I see all of the MP3 tags displayed fine; artist, title...you get the idea. When I play the same MP3s from DoubleTwist, none of that information shows up. I would just stick with Google Music but the music sounds much better with DoubleTwist's equalizer on.
What mechanism drives the information being sent through bluetooth? How can I get DoubleTwist to send song info to my stereo?
Any help is appreciated...

I'm looking for a music app like Samsung's music player for the sole purpose of Music Squares. Is there any other music app that has something like Music Squares where you can choose the type of music you want to listen to (passionate, calm, excited, ect) and it will make a playlist? Or is it possible to flash an apk of Samsung's music app?
I play music from Google Play Music at my work with my phone on wireless charger. I would love to be able to glance to my phone and see the song that's currently playing, coz I have bought quite a lot of albums and not sure which is which.
Is there an app (maybe if not I will write one) that displays the music being played? The one on lockscreen is perfect, but I can't keep the screen on on the lockscreen.
I managed to use dashclock + music extension, but the words are too small.
So, is there a tweak that lets you control Google Play Music with voice .. like "next song" "pause" "stop" ?
The only music control that works is "listen to music" and opens play music.
So, let me know if there is an exposed modules that enables these controls, thanks.
So now that Samsung is supposed to be making Google Play Music the default music app in their phones and tablets, think there will be a way to stream music like Spotify directly to the watch? I invest heavily in YouTube Red and GPM and don't want to have to switch back to Spotify...
