Hi,
my TF700t (stock ROM) gets error on many apps, Gmail stuck, Titanum Backup stuck, Helium Backup got error, stock Browser also, and many others as well. (small black window: report or close)
I unistalled Gmail to stock version, got error, updated via GooglePlay, got error, deleted all app data, got error, restore an earlier version, got error.
And many other apps too...
I cant imagine what is the solution, because I dont want to factory reset all the TF700.
I have no logcat
What is your opinion?

You didn't say what your error message says so it's difficult to offer any help.

Any error message, only the "Report" or "Close" buttons.
But I got new problem now...
I tried to recover old settings, but I got a bootloop. I didn't have TWRP or CWM on my tablet.
What can I do?

You'll have to give more info than any error message. Error messages tell you what the error is, if you can't say what they are now can we be expected to help you?
Anyway, all irrelevant now as you have caused a bootloop. Which app did you use to recover old settings from? Not sure how twrp or cwm would help you as you are stock so your only choice is to try a factory reset. I don't think you have any other choices to try unfortunately.
I made a factory reset via asus bootloader, this "solved" bootloop, but lost all settings and docs.
Thx anyway

I've had issues with my phone where google services would eat up all my battery like 50%+.. To temp rid of this issue I would freeze google services, then when I wanted to check out the market I would have defrost services and update gmail info to use market. Now I get the issue stated above. Ive read of a youtube trick, but when I click "my channel" it says sign in and add account which sends me back to Add a Google Account.. Are my only options a hard reset?

Factory reset would be the way to go!
I backed up sd card and did a factory reset, when phone rebooted into recover it said E:format_volume: rfs format failed on /dev/block/stl11. I restarted phone and same issue, not able to connect with market, yet file explorer was able to update by itself? Id like to try the youtube fix, but all i could find was the 2.4.4 version online and when I try to log on it sends me to sync.. Any other options? maybe hard reset??
Hmm.....I'd say GR then go from there.
I performed a one-click, had to download SAMSUNG_USB_Driver_1.5.4.0 after many failed attempts installing stock.. Then flashed vb-fb-build 3 twice consecutively and everything is much smoother Ive been flashing rom after rom etc etc.. So a clean install was good to do finally. Thanks for the help! If anyone has any questions feel free.

Go to settings 》application settings and try clearing the data for the application

try and uninstall it and re-install if you are able.. something could have gotten screwy ... also.. a lot of the google apps tend to sometimes have issues after updates.. you could just try and uinstall the most recent update and see if it still occurs..
From my Fired-up Note Pro 12.2!

I cannot uninstall the app. there is no such option. i uninstalled update and this error message shows up non-stop.
keep having the problem the entire day. what can I do? thanks
I uninstalled updates and the error shows up like craxy. Then, I went to playstore to reinstall update. Still get the error shown on the topic. Is there anything that I could do besides a factory reset?

are you rooted?if you are, you can use Titanium Backup to uninstall the app (think you might have to buy the pro if you dont have in order to mess with system apps, but if you dont own and are rooted, 1 of the few apps very worth buying).
if you do this, then you can go and reinstall from playstore as a fresh install..
if those don't work, then factory reset/odin back to stock may be needed..
also, if rooted you could try using a rom and flash that as an option..
My device is not rooted. Is there a way to solve the problem without rooting?
Only other thing I'd try prior to a factory reset would be to remove your google account information and then add it back in (settings - general - accounts). This may reset GAPPS (google apps) to the point where maps works again.
Did you by any chance delete or deactivate several Google processes? Like Google Services?
Hello,
I have a Nexus 5 device with just stock android 5.1 on it. The only thing I changed was to get root for being able to use the apps AdAway, Root Explorer and Titanium Backup.
Unfortunately I have some random reboots (about 1-2 a day) which is very annoying. Often I get this reboots while reading in the news app "Spiegel Online" (SpOn) but it also happens in other apps.
I already made a factory reset and cleared cache, etc. on stock recovery but nothing helped.
So I made a Logcat today to analyse to problem. Can anybody here have a look at my logcat and maybe give me a hint about the reason for the reboots?
Thanks in advance and best regards

Please paste the log somewhere online (example hastebin.com)
Here you go: http://hastebin.com/voditivezo.apache :good:
These are at least the last 4 minutes, the whole log was too big for hastebin.com

Thanks.
You said that
- the reboots usually happen when using spiegel news app
- you performed a factory reset in stock recovery, but did you install Adaway/Spiegel app again after doing the factory reset?
not sure why these log messages are here..
"Connection to http://c.spiegel.de refused"
"[ 04-09 17:21:39.820 1939: 6636 W/System.err ] Caused by: java.net.ConnectException: failed to connect to /127.0.0.1 (port 80) after 5000ms: isConnected failed: ECONNREFUSED (Connection refused)"
Yes, AdAway is one of the first apps I install after a factory reset since years.
You think it has something to do with the crashes?

Can't hurt to try a fresh install without it, yes, that's my opinion.
Hello, I'm getting a message "Unfortunately, the process com.android.phone has stopped" when I miss a phone call and the same when I swipe the missed called notification.
But it's fine if I answer calls and make calls, it only happens when I get a missed call...
Any ideas what's wrong?

Dont know what is wrong but there is three solution to solve this
#1:- By clearing the data
Surfing internet we could find that many people recommend to do a data clear to resolve this issue. In your android smartphone, it is very easy to clear data. For clearing data,
Go to Settings
Application Manager
Choose All Application
Below Contacts Storage choose “Clear all data”.
Now Restart your device
The above steps have slight changes from mobile to mobile. Try to find out the similar steps in your mobile yourself.
#2:- Resetting your device
You can also try a factory reset of your mobile phone to resolve this. Do factory reset only if the first method didn’t worked for you. For performing a factory reset,
Go to Settings
Backup & reset
factory Reset
Doing a factory reset will delete all of your data and applications. So be careful to do a backup if you are proceeding with this step.
#3: Changing the OS
This is recommended to those are facing Unfortunately the process com.android.phone has stopped message after updating their device or changing the static os to a custom version.

Thanks...went through all those options already + more , nothing could fix it, even the few recovery backups that I had...so a reset was the only solution...
So I decided to start from scratch and go down the long way, flashed .93 rom then root and working my way back up from there manually as I can't restore any backups otherwise the error reappears...
This kinda sucks but that's the only way right now...unless somebody got a better insight of the situation, I still would like to know how to fix it without a reset
At least I got a clean backup now without the error
[SOLVED]
EDIT:
OK found the cause of the problem, at least in this case...I did freeze Xperia Home with Titanium Backup at some point since I used a different launcher ( something I didn't do at the beginning when I switched launcher)...this was the root of my problem getting com.android.phone has stopped when getting a missed call, so a simple defrosting of the app worked

Thank you, it's working.. Having my rom heavily modified, and the cause just simple as defrosting..
I have two problems with my lg g3 att rooted phone.
1st Problem - I have tried to get rid of the android.process.acore error but have had no luck THIS time. (Last time part of the fix was completely uninstalling the facebook app from my phone). This time (and last time) I cleared caches, stopped them, deleted my contacts and the contacts storage, unclicked the app sync button.... I can't really remember what else I did to restore it to normal.
2nd problem - So I clicked on update software from ATT and a TWRP v.2.8.6.0 screen comes up. I don't know what to do with it. Do I click install, restore, reboot, backup? Can I just undo this and try and find some other way to remove the android.process.acore error message without losing all my data with a factory reset? If this twrp is complicated I would prefer to just undo what I just did. I really need some help as soon as possible. Thank you in advance.

I am having the same problem and not sure what to do about it. I restart my phone, and it seems to be ok for a while, but then it starts popping up again. I have an AT&T LG G3 (LG - D850), not rooted phone. I have tried to reset all app preferences, but that didn't seem to do anything really. Could really use some help! Thanks!
