Okay This to me is a Realy big deal so hears a little story. I was working on a bootanimation for The Triforce rom as reqested by XDA Member heyjoojoo & I was also working on porting the Asus Day Scene live wallpaper to the sg4 at the same time & So what happend was something Amazing! I ended up starting a new project moding the Asus Day Scene live wallpaper. I know it's been hacked in to to change image sizes for verious devices but this mod is on a whole nother level. I have moded every aspect of the live wallpaper & animations To bring you a first ever one of a kind fully moded version of Asus Day Scene Called Links Master Sword Scene! OMG What Have I done? How did I do it? Well I had alittle help from a tutorial that was made buy XDA Member jschmier over in the Eee Pad Transformer Themes & Apps Section the link to his tutorial Is here...:[Live Wallpaper] Asus MyWater Reworked w/ tutorial (no root required) Anyway this tutorial essentially tells you how to mod a diffrent asus live wallpaper the MyWatter LWP. Well combined with this information & my photoshop skills & little knowledge of java & everythang going on I was able to do this great mod!
1.Made 5 new shiny Master Sward Wallpapers In photoshop! Spent a good day or more on all of them!
2.Replaced the medior with a firey arrow.
3.Replaced the snow with gold gliter falling of the shiny triforece bird logo.
4.Replaced the fireflys with navi farys!
5.Replaced the sun set with the gold triforce bird logo
6.added in shny lights for glimering sward.
7.added in some difrent color rupies
8.Replaced & Blended in tranzitions and amazing photoshop effects!
9.Renamed the package name so you could install it along side Asus Day Scene with no error!
10.Renamed all 1791 internal names and gave it a proper discription
To do Maybe!
Add in Lanscape mode!
add in a sheld
add in a bow and arrows set.
add in another Navi
add some harts
add in A ocarina of time
add something else you might want?
The only 2 things I didnt mod are a small fog & birds bitmap's
This Is Amasing wallpaper made to work in portrate mode on your Android device with a 1080x1920 display Sg4 Note 3 Compatable.
I recomend it's best to set it to slideshow mode with 30 second interval & then reboot for transitions to work best!
Please conferm if working on other devices? I have only tested on my SG4! This is v6 of the LWP the preview is from v1 Please enjoy & ThankX ! .

Installation
Just download rom toolbox light on android market place. Open the application swipe left 3 times then click boot Animation then go to local then chose your download zip file & install it. Then put PowerOn.ogg in system\media\audio\ui\SPR\ Reboot. Done!
Or Manuly
To install a boot animation. You don't have to be rooted and you must have a file explorer of some sort. For me Root Explorer is very helpful.
Rooted:
Then go to system>media>then rename the existing boot animation to something different. This is pretty much backing it up. An example of what to name is bootanimation.zip1. Then go to the boot animation you want then copy and paste it to the system/media folder. Then you reboot and relax.=)
In some case if your rom does not allow for custom boot animations and you still see a flashing Samsung boot loop instead of your custom boot animation you may need to edit your Samsungni file It's recommended you first back up the original file bootanimation in system/bin
then copy this bootanimation file to that directory & Set permission as 0755 (rwxr-xr-x)

[Boot Animation] Black Ops for any Android Device

Pulled an all nighter for a little afternoon treat. Here is a Black Ops boot animation for any android device.
Important: These files I upload are not flashable via recovery, you need to push them via ADB or copy them to your SDcard and then placed in the correct system folder. User Tiffany84 will upload flashable zips for everyone shortly, please thank her for her work as well.
Instructions: Place or push via ADB the "bootanimation.zip" file just as it is downloaded into the system folder where your boot animations are located. The directories are either "/system/customize/resource" or "/system/media". I have included the mp3's for either directory, simply unrar and copy/push the files. "android_audio.mp3 goes into /system/media and "SPC_animation_final.mp3" goes into /system/customize/resource" you do not need both, its one or the other depending on your rom.
Here is a little .gif preview as well as the youtube link so you can see how it is supposed to sound. I hope you all enjoy!
As always, if you need help or have questions, please feel free to ask.

[email protected] I'm a huge Black Ops fan~
I have never had luck with putting custom boots on my phone =\
I'm gonna wait for the flashable zip and see if it works for me! Appreciate the work
Sick...Dl'n as we speak!!!
1] using Root Explorer to copy/paste bootanimation.zip into system/media {{ WORK}}
2] using Root Explorer to copy/paste android_audio.mp3 into system/media { DIDN'T WORK }

These are flashable zips of the bootanimation. The first one is for people that are on a rom that has the bootanimation located in system/customize/resource. The second is for people that are on a rom that has the bootanimation located in system/media. The audio is included in both of them. Enjoy.
Edit: I just tested the the one for roms that has the animation located in system/media and I had no sound. The animation looked great but I didn't have audio. I've never had any luck with audio for bootanimations that are stored in system/media. Sorry.

This is pretty good. I was wondering if its possible to make a seperate bootscreen animation that is just the green wire with the Android logo.... skipping all of the "black ops" footage.
Honestly, that green wire android is amazingly sick! Just loop that and im sold!

after rebooting and watching the animation several thousand times, wouldnt it be cool to have HTC EVO 4G logo show up right at the end with a camouflage and ripple effect? The logo of course would be placed right in the middle where it always has been.

Yes it would, working on Gears of War at the moment, but will revisit this idea.
I think your sound won't work for some. On the Inc im pretty sure the sound is VZW_Droid.mp3 since 2.2, depending on the rom.

Hi,
i tried to flash the droid eye but CWM says Installation Aborted...redownload, reflash, same problem...i had changed the filename to bootanimation.zip as per your instruction...
any idea?
I love people sharing their boot animations, it's great to have a couple to choose from
However, is it possible to make the previews animated? Like an animated gif or similar? I know it's a *****y request to make but I just feel it can give a greater impression for potential downloaders
Cheers either way! Keep it up!

You don't flash these. These are the bootanimation.zip proper, so you need to just copy the bootanimation.zip into /system/media (root required, obvs)

Hi...guyz..!!
Here are a few boot animations for galaxy fit!
the way ill tell you to apply them is the simplest as per my understanding!
It does not require using Adb shell or Terminal Emulator and is fairly simple!
[NOTE- I AM NOT THE REAL DEVELOPER OF THESE ANIMATIONS IVE JUST COLLECTED ALL OF THEM AND JUST RESIZED A FEW TO 240*320 resolution]
The animations are-
Alien (this is taken from Vishwanath's Alien Mod theme)
Android 3d
Android crumble
Android pissing
Aqua sphere
Android shine green
Autumn style (this is taken from Vishwanath's Autumn style theme)
FitDroidv2.0( this is taken from Vishwanath's FitDroid Rom)
Nexus
Galaxy S(from pratyush's Aosp)
Green glow
Droid x
Droid x pro

Method-
1) install the attached apk ,i.e.,Absolute system app
2) download the "bootanimation.zip" from the link i provided at bottom
and extract it in "sd/goodies/bootanimations"
3) open the app and select Boot Animation , and then from the small arrow on the right corner of the screen.
4) select "downloaded animations"
5) You will now see the boot animation files.
6) install your desired animation and have fun!

Old version (1.8.0)
the old version of ABSOLUTE SYSTEM is still attached {v1.8.0} ...if u face problems in this( i don't think u will) ..
FOR MY DEAR CM7 USERS-
You can now add sound to your boot animation!! !
Follow these steps:
This is tutorial for how to put sound with boot animation
first download attached file CM7bootsound.zip
then extract it
you find two files
one is bootsnd.sh put this file directly in sdcard
second file is soundatboot.zip it is cwm flashable zip so in cwm mount system and sdcard then install this zip file
then reboot
now open terminal emulator
then type following(after each command push enter)
su
cd /sdcard (there is space after cd )
sh bootsnd.sh
reboot
now when reboot there is music with bootanimation
when want to change music rename your desire sound to android_audio.mp3 and copy to system/media/
then reboot

i believe you need to edit the boot.img in order to change that...but up til now i havent found the solution to extract the boot.img..i've tried using magic iso or power iso..still no result..unless you are on unix system..there is a way to extract the boot.img thru several steps and some tools will also be needed..but currently im running on windows xp

[BOOTANIMATION] Android Lollipop (Xperia M2)

Hello everybody!
I've just "ported" the bootanimation from the Android Lollipop Preview from Nexus 5, I've resized every picture one by one so that they match the screen resolution of our smartphone
Also, I've created a new bootsound, that combines the old Xperia Bootanimation and the song that Google used in the intro of the I/O Keynote of this year

Instructions: Move to /system/media and give permission RW-R-R
Hope you enjoyed it, and if so, hit the thanks button
Added demo video to OP, so that those who didn't tried it yet are able to check out how it looks like

Sorry, I think that's not possible, check that some people, like JanM RS and Ben Ling, have already tried with Sony's SDKs to make a theme for Xperia Themes, but it didn't work because it needs the SuperUser Mod, so let's see if it's still necesary to root the device when KK arrives, or if we are able to use it at 100%..
BTW, check this post, it's a request for CyanogenMod to bring official support for our device, you might be interested, maybe, if they bring us support, we might have Android L rom's in the future :fingers-crossed:
Thanks man!
Thats look nice i guess,, so i'll try to port to mine..thank u..

Yes. U need a rooted device for sure.
Upppppp (so that new ones can check this amazing bootanimation )
Cool bro! Keep it up
Works great on my Xperia M2 Dual:good:
works fine on D2305, it's a bit blurry at the edges but the resizing must have messed it up
one kool tip for people who are paranoid about changing the boot animation and bricking their device is to:
1)be rooted ofc
2)IMPORTANT!!!: RENAME NOT REPLACE
3)now you can move the "new" boot animation to /system/media
4)now navigate to /system/bin
5)find the script "bootanimation" it shouldn't be "bootanimation.sh" or anything else just "bootanimation", may be diffrent for other devices but it should be consistance across all android devices
6)if it shows the new animation then done! :victory::victory::victory:
7)else, go back, delete the "new" one and rename the old boot animation to it original name "bootanimation.zip"
8)check all the contents of the "new" one and perform a MD5/hash checksum on it, then take it from step 2 again
i'll personally keep another copy of the boot animation on my PC so i can adb push it if all fails
