HoneyComb LiveWallpaper/Bootanimation

ok so here is a little trick to getting the new honeycomb boot animation as a live wallpaper.
1.go download and install this app
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=748566
then put the folder i made on the root of your SD card then select it and bam you'll have the honeycomb boot animation as your live wallpaper.
edit im gonna upload the file as a zip unpack the file and place the folder on you sd then select the folder in the live wallpaper creator app

you cant flash this zip cause i dont know how to sign them so you can use root explorer and copy this zip folder to system/media and paste it there NOTE im running CM7 so the bootanimation might be in a different spot on a sense based rom

if i will provide you with better pictures folder (honeycomb boot animation), can you make it again? because resolution on your live wallpaper is to much vertical
i can give u ready folder with 47 pictures better quality...
(i try to fix it by my self, but that app (live wallpaper creator) didn't work with android 2.3

[Boot Animation] Black Ops for any Android Device

Pulled an all nighter for a little afternoon treat. Here is a Black Ops boot animation for any android device.
Important: These files I upload are not flashable via recovery, you need to push them via ADB or copy them to your SDcard and then placed in the correct system folder. User Tiffany84 will upload flashable zips for everyone shortly, please thank her for her work as well.
Instructions: Place or push via ADB the "bootanimation.zip" file just as it is downloaded into the system folder where your boot animations are located. The directories are either "/system/customize/resource" or "/system/media". I have included the mp3's for either directory, simply unrar and copy/push the files. "android_audio.mp3 goes into /system/media and "SPC_animation_final.mp3" goes into /system/customize/resource" you do not need both, its one or the other depending on your rom.
Here is a little .gif preview as well as the youtube link so you can see how it is supposed to sound. I hope you all enjoy!

This is pretty good. I was wondering if its possible to make a seperate bootscreen animation that is just the green wire with the Android logo.... skipping all of the "black ops" footage.
Honestly, that green wire android is amazingly sick! Just loop that and im sold!

after rebooting and watching the animation several thousand times, wouldnt it be cool to have HTC EVO 4G logo show up right at the end with a camouflage and ripple effect? The logo of course would be placed right in the middle where it always has been.

Yes it would, working on Gears of War at the moment, but will revisit this idea.

I think your sound won't work for some. On the Inc im pretty sure the sound is VZW_Droid.mp3 since 2.2, depending on the rom.

Well anyway I've decided to be a solid provider of boot animations. After many trials and tribulations I have released my first booty!
And hey don't be afraid to request an animation!
Make sure to rename the .zip to bootanimation.zip

i tried to flash the droid eye but CWM says Installation Aborted...redownload, reflash, same problem...i had changed the filename to bootanimation.zip as per your instruction...
any idea?

I love people sharing their boot animations, it's great to have a couple to choose from
However, is it possible to make the previews animated? Like an animated gif or similar? I know it's a *****y request to make but I just feel it can give a greater impression for potential downloaders

You don't flash these. These are the bootanimation.zip proper, so you need to just copy the bootanimation.zip into /system/media (root required, obvs)

Droid eye is wicked!!!! Love it!

You can also push it to data/local for those without root

Are you rooted? If yes, try root explorer.

Preview by downloading this animated gif. Actual bootanimation is high res, of course, animated gif quality is for the sake of preview file size...you guys get the idea. Animation ends after the beats portion, the preview loops.

There's an extra 5 pix in regular boot animation, so if i just take 5 out it won't look as good.

You can go into the zip file and delete the "android_black_htc" folder, then edit desc.txt file and remove "p 1 1 android_black_htc " and that'll remove the black htc part

How to install it using Root Explorer
1. The Boot Animation must be named "bootanimation.zip".
2. Copy it to your sd card.

Rough Example
This is how it will be done. This is a rough work just for reference.....
Place bootanimation in system/media folder by the means of rootexplorer. You need to mount folder r/w from the right top corner of rootexplorer.

I checked the gif but it is not animating proprly. Use the boot animation its working fine.

Maybe Today. Every new bootanimation will be added to http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=23910060&postcount=1 so keep a look at it. I am planning to make a Dancing android bootanimation
