But i dont know how i get back to stock could somebody please help me ?
Thanks.
If you just want to be on a stock Sense ROM, just flash a stock rooted ROM from Development.
Or restore the nandroid backup you made before you flashed CM10.2. You did a nandroid, right?

Any ROM you want. Either pick a stock rooted ROM from my Index, or any of the custom ROMs (Sense based, if you want to get back to Sense).

Just pick a ROM from the "CUSTOM ROMs" section, and flash it (stock rooted ROMs are also included at the bottom of that section). No guide should be needed, if you already flashed a ROM before.

Ok, you're in the wrong forum then. This is the HTC One XL forum. You're better off asking in the HTC One X forum, they'll be able to help you there.

Um, no, you're wrong. This is the AT&T One X / HTC One XL forum. It's a completely different phone. The HTC One X forum is here.
Stay in that forum, if you flash anything from here you WILL brick your phone.

Is this the second user that has tried to say you are wrong about what device this forum is for timmaaa?
More like the third or fourth, at least he's in the right place now mate.

I successfully installed CWM and got S-OFF while using the guide posted in the Android section.
Should I just flash a ROM now thats already rooted? Do I need Super CID? Is that only useful if you want to go back to stock?
edit:
I just read that it allows me to install a ROM from any carrier, not just T-Mobile. Do most of the ROMS require Super CID?

Granting Super CID will allow you to install all original HTC RUU ROMs, not just those intended for your local model. It basically sets your internal HTC model number that RUUs look for to 11111111, which allows you to install any of them.
It is not required for any of the customised ROMs available here, it is only useful if, for example, I wanted to flash the WWE HTC ROM on my Telstra Sensation.
Hope this helps!

Hi there.
My Ds is unlocked with htcdev and has s-on...
I did a backup of my stockrom before I installed custom Roms... But: if I want get back to stock I need the original kernel for Ds... So I can flash it via fastboot, because of s-on...
Is there a way to get it anywhere?
Thanks

What you need is an RUU. It really would help if you would take the pains of searching the forum for similar requests before starting nearly identical threads. Helps reduce clutter as well as overhead on the servers.
But here's a link to set you in the right direction: forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1547924

Take a look at the link I posted. More important is looking through the sticky threads at the top of forum (look through the DEVELOPMENT section)

am i wrong?
ahm... okay I think I've found something...
this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1236890
includes kernel for hboot 2....
would it work if I flash it and run the recovery of my original system?
ain't it dangerous to just try it out?

THIS ONE is newer, faster and better on battery. Also includes rooting tools (to be flashed from recovery).
One malybru quoted is also good, but is GB, one i linked is ICS.
P.S. I'm using it at the moment and am very happy with it (rooted)

Hi,
All I know is that it is very close to stock.
I have never tried it myself.
It will not hurt to try it for yourself.
You can of course flash an RUU of your region and carrier.
This will return your entire phone(including recovery) back to stock.
It will leave you s-0ff.

No, if you still want s-off and root you are better off flashing one of the stock roms.
With ruu you will lose root, custom recovery and other goodies.
BTW, if you have a look under our avatars you will see why we cannot be on T-Mobile US.

Look for shipped roms in development forum. Find one for T-Mobile us, run from windows with phone connected via USB.

RUU stands for ROM Update Utility. It is a utility you run on your computer to flash your device via USB.

If you want stock ICS go with ARHD and never look back. If you want GB stock rooted flash the RUU from that stock builds thread and follow the guide to root.
I'm on the US Sensation.

I'm trying to get the stock Rogers kernel to reflash. I have the stock Rogers Rom, would it be in there? If so what image file is it?

Thanks.
Why are you just flashing the kernel? As far as i understand you have to flash the entire RUU.
Good thread

Its boot-signed.img
You will to fast boot flash it.
You should ask mods to move the thread to Q/A Sub Forum since this is a question and directly related to development.
Hope that helps.

If you googled your thread title many answers would have come up, it's XDA rules to search before posting. You can either flash a stock ROM from the development section, or you can RUU back to stock.

There are several Sense 5 ROMs available on our development section now. I can't suggest which one to use because asking for a "best" ROM is against the rules so therefore I can't answer. They're all very similar, have a look and see which one you think you'll like.
I'm pretty sure that your carrier unlock will survive the RUU process because it's stored on a lower level.

hi,
does the Alex V 2.1 kernel work on roms like ViperX 4.0, ARHD 31.2? I tried but there was no phone signal. When i use the boot image within the rom its perfectly fine.
btw, can u give me a link to latest stock kernel? i found a few topics with "stock kernels" but they give a few ones so i didnt know which was the stock.
It sounds like you have the One X? This is the One XL forum.
