Nice little real world comparison, throw a polarized lens on there and watch the G2 screen vanish in sunlight completely.
Hey I can actually see the N3's display! Good enough for me! :good:

Best screen is alpha. Look closely.
Also watch this

Also the best reviewer is hi-tech mail.
They have similar results. Only in the iPhone 6 review they a little bit wrong.
The best display according to their tests have alpha, iphone 5c (overclockers not tested), note4 (overclockers tested in wrong mode), lumia 735 (overclockers not tested)
How is the display (in terms of color, contrast, gamut, brightness) aka quality in general?
I know that many complain about the resolution; but besides the resolution is the display good ? Feel free to compare it to other devices, even the Moto G2.
Feel free to link reviews that tested the display.
I was a Z2 & G3 user for almost a year and I really enjoy this 720p screen plus the feeling hand's on the device offer in this budget price, very comfortable for daily use

@Techguy18 It can be,definitely the display is the best part of this phone (Y)
Issue with display
After using the moto g 3 for a week I realized that under direct sunlight or under very bright light falling directly on screen, the vertical lines are visible.I did not have such issue with my previous phone.Should I call for a replacement?

Good to hear. Read some reviews that said the screen was dull and washed out, but they're probably used to OLED displays.
Hello everyone! I want to show you my outdoor video of screen sunlight visibility comparison test between Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge and other Galaxies. I hope you will enjoy my video!!!
Link for the video:
https://youtu.be/4x9cYNii3Pc
The S7e is the first phone I've owned that I don't have to struggle to see in daylight. Although it's still a challenge with sunglasses on.
I agree with you, the phone display is on sunlight (how can be see in video) really sharp and visible.
I noted that when I turn on the screen I a low light environment, it has a fade before the screen completely turn on, like a fade effect. I did some tries and this happen only in low light condition. Is this normal? Under sun light it is very clear and when I turn on the screen it is bright in no time, without any fade effect.
Sended from my Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Gold Platinum
The s7 has a very bright screen u ... its a bit annoying in the dark even with having at the lowest settings but ok
I have a nexus 6p. Great phone for media but the battery is starting to show it's age. I'm considering the s8 plus (or mate 10) for the camera quality etc but I can't find the width of the screen. I know the diagonal but when I watch films on my phone my 6p is great as it's also a great screen (16:9 and not the new longer and narrower tend)
Can anyone please tell me the screen width please?
Nearly 3 inch left to right 6 and half diagonal
I have the note 8, slightly larger screen than s8+ and with the curve, the effective screen area is 2.75" wide and 5.7" high.

Thank you billu for the precision of your answer. Seems the s8 plus screen is as wide as my 6p which is great news.
you may find it crazy that i'm saying this especially when i refer to the Xperia xz1 but Sonys calibration is unlike anything i have ever seen have not seen the xz3 yet, and i always fall back too the xz1 i have compared it to the Surface pro 5 the Sony af8 oled tv the samsung galaxy s8+ the huawei mate 10 pro and the display getting closest is the af8 oled but even there i feel the colors are a Little dull in comparison, the tablet z4 gets close though, once i got the mate 10 pro almost right with the colors White suffered this doesn\t happen on the xz1, i prefer cold colors i always have i keep my xz1's color balance to 171 blue and screen mode to super vivid mode yet White does not suffer from this it still looks Bright vibrant White while colors look Amazing , if i try the same om for example the huawei mate 10 pro i get a strong blue White, if i compare to the samsung galaxy s8 which is supposed to be the superior display all i see is the s8+ being way too warm and dull in comparison even though screen mode is set to vibrant i mean see these samplepictures , are my Eyes or is my taste just different from everyone elses it makes it difficult to accept any display after this., an oled 4k tv that has the same perfect vibrant colors would be Amazing but not even the af8 oled can do that perfectly
