[Q] Have a C2105, need a C2104 - Sony Xperia L

Hi everybody I need some help. I recently bought an Xperia L from UK and I live in Argentina. The problem is that in my country we still use 850 and 1900 3G network, wich the c2104 model is able to use, and I have a c2105, wich isn´t prepared for those frequencies. Will I be able to "transform" my device from c2105 to a c2104? It seems that the hardware of the phone it´s identical in both models, the only thing that changes is the frequency of the bands. I will really appreciate your help, thanks in advance!!

[Q] Convert D6653 to D6603 fot LTE bands

Hi!
I have the D6653 model, but I need the LTE bands of the D6603.
If I flash the D6603 rom, can I get the bands LTE 700/800/850/900/1700/1800/1900/2100/2600 (1/2/3/4/5/7/8/13/17/20)?
Thanks!
I've read on this in the past when I used to own the D6653. The answer is no because it is hardware related, not software. Something about the physical antennas they put in here. This was a reason for selling my D6653 with a big loss back then.

3G Frequency ?

Hi! I want to buy a Xperia M2 that works in my country, here we use 850/1900 for 3g! ok, In Sony Mobile website says that the D2303 850/900/1900/2100 but in amazon, gsmarena and phonearena say that the D2305 is the olny one that support 850/1900, so.. anyone who has this phone can help me? what is the real 3G Frequency of the D2303 and the D2305?
Thanks!

I am fairly certain it physically does not have the other bands, T-Mobile as far as I know does not disable other bands especially since they have global roaming plans.

I am trying to do this
The bands on the phone should not be locked. Please look up the LTE bands on the phone and see if your carrier supports them:

I am pretty sure it's an exercise in futility as T-Mobile does not block bands, the phone either physically has them or doesn't.
Better return/sell it and get the international version.

Xperia Z5 Compact not receiving 4G signal with Rogers Canada

Hi everyone,
I just got my Xperia Z5 Compact from my dad, but the problem is that I can not get 4G signal with Rogers Canada. My Z5 Compact was bought from the US
I asked support from Rogers and they said since Rogers does not carry the Xperia Z5 Compact, and my sim is working properly with other phones, they cannot offer me help.
My phone current settings:
- Preferred network type: LTE (preferred)/WCDMA/GSM
- Rogers LTE - Itemobile.apn
Can someone help me? Thank you!

Check if the bands and frequencies of your carrier match the bands and frequencies supported by the device. There is more to it than just it being 4G LTE. If bands and frequencies don't match, it won't work.
Also, your radio/modem may not be compatible. Some devices that move to a different network have to flash a modem to work on the other network. That doesn't mean that a compatible modem is available for your device though. Some devices switching networks have to live without 4G because the device hardware just doesn't support what the network has regardless of what software you apply.
I DO NOT PROVIDE HELP IN PM, KEEP IT IN THE THREADS FOR EVERYONE TO SHARE
A USA purchased X5 Compact has all the LTE bands that Rogers uses. As long as the APN settings are correct (and I'd assume that these settings come from the SIM card), the phone should work. Does it work otherwise, just not with 4G?

[Completed] Problem with lte on my xperia x

Hello,
I'm actually from Germany, but i find this forum very useful..thats why i hope, you can help me with my problem.
I purchased a Sony xperia x online. Everything works fine except the LTE. It's very bad and unstable. I used an iPhone 6 plus before and there was no problem with lte.
I checked every setting, but everything seems fine.
I checked with the app Lte Discovery which lte band the device uses for lte connection and it said band 20. So i can be sure it has the Lte band 20, can't I?
I also found out on xpericheck that the installed firmware is for devices from switzerland.
So I want to ask you, if it's possible that the device doesn't really support band 20 because it's from another country? I haven't found any model of the xperia x online, which doesn't support lte band 20.
I would give you some screenshot but the forum doesn't allow me to do this.
Thank you in advance
