What bluetooth profiles does the Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 support? Haven't been able to find any information online about this.
Thanks!
I am using the 10.1 inch version. I can connect to it with my Samsung phone and my tablet can receive files from my phone. I belive blue tooth mic can be used also. Sorry if this doesn't work for 7.0 inch

Hello,
I would like to ask does HDMI adapter work with Samsung galaxy tab 2 10.1? Website says that it works but one person claims that it does not work.
I think I read somewhere that it works with the 10.1" but NOT the 7". and a video I just saw on youtube says to make sure you plug up the power cord to the HDMI hub otherwise it won't work, but that was for a Tab 10.1 not a Tab 2 10.1
I just bought one yesterday and it works with my tab I915. You must plug in the charger though.

Hello, I use Thumb Keyboard as my default keyboard but every time I turn off/on the tablet the Samsung Keyboard comes up as the default one. And yes, I set the Thumb Keyboard as the default in the settings. Anyone having this problem? Or a solution?
Thanks in advance...

Update: the problem seems to be only with Thumb Keyboard, I switched to Swiftkey and problem solved, anyway both are great.

Similar issue
I and my husband both have Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 tablets running on Jellybean. Both have SwiftKey installed. Every time we turn the tablets on, we have to set SwiftKey as the default keyboard because it keeps changing it back to the Samsung keyboard. This is driving us both crazy. Our Galaxy Note II phones don't do it. Neither do our old Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 tablets or the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 tablets we returned to get the Note 10.1 devices. Does anyone know how to fix this? (I already uninstalled SwiftKey, rebooted, reinstalled SwiftKey, set it as default, and rebooted again to find that the issue continues.)
Thanks!
I had that issue before i rooted my device. Still on stock, but I installed Titanium backup and froze most of the bloat including the stock Samsung keyboard. Golden now.

Check out the SwiftKey website. This is a well known issue.

I have two n8013 bought at same time. One does what you discribed and the other always comes up with thumbs. have not looked into what's causing it.
Mmmm... That's probably not the best solution but I'm going to try that....
Thanks (Afronicus)

I was hoping that wasn't the answer, but I guess we are out of luck for now. Thanks for pointing us in the right direction.
I have bought a bluetooth keyboard for the galaxy note 10.1. The issue i am having is that the on screen keyboard still pops up whenever i am typing and it defeats the purpose of having the bluetooth keyboard. I am not rooted and I hope that I dont have to root just because of this. Is there a way to fix this issue because i only see half of the screen when using bluetooth keyboard. Thanks!

download "null keyboard" in the playstore

I use External Keyboard Helper Pro. Works well. I do not use my BT keyboard very often anymore though, so not sure if it works as well now as it did 6 months ago. Changed to a macbook air for heavy computing work needs and now use that for typing.
